I took my dump truck to them June 30th 2025 didn't get my truck back till July 18th 2025. I went there for a front end alignment and had him put front leaf springs on. They said they couldn't align my truck without replacing all my rear suspension parts. They had only one guy that they claim did the job. When I got my truck back after spending 13,000 dollars that's right you read it right. The second day that I was driving my truck after getting it back after 3 weeks that's right you're reading that right too. Three of the lugs on my passenger front tire lugs was hand tight that's right you're reading that right as well. The other lugs we're tight but not tighten up and it ruined my aluminum rim cost me a road service cost me rim that's right you're reading that right as well. Owner of blue hand refuses to call me he'd rather have his employees call me. Now I'm at a tire shop paying for new rims for a front of my truck. Because they refused to accept that they messed up. Also one of the mechanics left a large crowbar on my steps which could have came off bounced off the road and went into the windshield of car and possibly kill someone. So my review was basically a real review not like the rest of these fake reviews. I would never tell anybody to go to a shop that would treat you this way. I called around two other shops one in Baltimore one in Philly they all have six guys working on this type of truck and blue hen uses one guy. They also use excuses for everything. One day they didn't even work on my truck claiming that two guys were sick so they called all. The next day they said one guy that was sick came back but the other guys back is still hurting that's the first lie I called him in. I was told my truck would have been done the Tuesday after 4th of July. They made up excuses why it wasn't done. That I was told on July 11th it would be done but instead they called me and told me I bought the wrong rims which come to find out they were the right rims. And on the 11th they told me of July that they had a lot more to do. Excuse after excuse after excuse. I never wanted to write a review about this company because I try to be a good person. I believe in giving people chances to make up for their mistakes . I tried reaching out to the owner today which is July 25th 2025 asking if he would pay for this rim that one of his workers didn't properly put back on. I wasn't asking for another aluminum rim because I know they're expensive and I planned on changing them over to steel wheels anyway. Which are a lot cheaper than aluminum rims. The owner never responded back so I assumed they're okay would let me pay for this bill that they caused. To all that will read this and I hope you do especially all you guys with these dump trucks take my advice take the extra mile and go to a real shop that has six guys working on your truck and have you out the door in one to two days. Today I had a flat tire I stopped here around 3:15 pm I asked if someone could please help me change my tire because I didn't want to drive any further he told me no they are getting ready to close then he closed the big sliding door while I was standing there. The thing is they don't close until 4:30. I should have known what the answer was going be when I first walked in by the way they looked at me. If you want a friendly experience and in need of help don't stop there because they are not friendly at all

No nonsense, took care of my issue and off I went

Update. Did not follow manufacturer instructions for front suspension radius arm install. Reused factory bolts when instructions called for widening mounting holes and using larger bolts. I drove 100 miles to use them as the manufactures recommended facility. Just go to your local heavy truck repair shop for chassis work on a motorhome. They did a great job of upgrading the suspension on my Class A motorhome. All the staff were professional and courteous. Done on time and budget.

If you need a specialty part, they'll find it...

Had a 2 piece driveshaft from my 60 Chevy Biscayne shortened and balanced. At my request they installed quality U joints. When I got it back it looked like a brand new driveshaft! I installed it and it went in no problem. This job was costly but you get what you pay for. These guys are good!

STEER CLEAR. DMV sent us here to get our little popup GVWR certified, and said it shouldn't be much so we didn't think much of it. Zero customer service skills from all the staff. No mention of how long, what to bring, if they needed anything from us; even when I showed up Jerry just said, "Alright thanks." After asking for name and phone number. Zero instructions, no greetings, and just made me feel awkward. Afterwards they charged me $470 for the cert...I should have just walked out and not paid it, but maybe I should have asked too. The entire experience from the people to the price was a zero. Find any alternative that you can.

Attempted to get by boat trailer axle replaced and they acted like I was bothering them. Told me I have to find the OEM axle when trailer manufacturer is out of business. Went to small business named PLM in Camden and totally different experience and got my trailer fixed correctly within 2 days. There are definitely better options out there and don't recommend this place!

First time here can't really say to much about the place yet will know more when the job is done . So we will see how things go.

Very good people you tell them what you want and they fix you right up

While on vacation, a sway bar bushing bracket broke on my truck. Since it was an aftermarket oversize, no one had a replacement in stock. (The typical no help from the box stores.) The guys at Blue Hen were more than willing to help me out in getting the parts overnighted, but went the extra mile and recommended a local machine shop for a quick fix and time savings. While I did not purchase anything from Blue Hen this time, I will be sure to go out of my way to use them in the future. Much respect to these guys for providing friendly, superior customer service.

The light I needed was out of stock, they spent the time to find someone else that had it in stock.

They did a phenomenal job at doing exactly what I wanted.

We needed emergency assistance when the wheel fell off our trailer. Scott from Blue Hen saved the day!

Price is a little one the high side, but quality is nice. I had a drive shaft made for a c10 truck and its been holding up strong with 900tq bolted to it. It took 3 days for the shaft. Also had rear spring shackles made from them. They are still going strong.

Couldn't be happier with the work they did on my truck. I would recommend them to anyone thanks for the great work.

They stuck with it to find a very frustrating air suspension leak in my motor home. Very fair on the bill. Previously performed font end alignment. Highly recommended.

I talked to Scott, he is very honest and does not try to sell you something that you don't need. Great customer service.

Try to talk to the boss didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Try to explain that I have Servo brakes on trailer and not Electric over Hydraulic. With further research, brake control switch is only works Electric over Hydraulic brake witch controls the sensitivity of braking.

Traveling to Rehobeth Beach had leaf spring break on Pop-up camper. Called talked to Jerry, he was very helpful in describing how to measure the spring, they had the spring in stock. Picked it up on Saturday Gabe was very helpful to assure that I had the correct spring. Gabe also made new "U" bolts while I waited. Very pleased with service. Highly recommended.

Great shop to work with. Fast service and great customer service. Couldn't be happier with my alignment on my lifted suspension system. Everyone there went above and beyond to get me an appointment quickly, made sure my alignment and the rest of my suspension were in top shape and got my vehicle back on the road. The technicians are top notch and put me at ease to know my vehicle was in good hands. You guys are my GO TO shop! I will definitely use Blue Hen Spring Works again and highly recommend them. Paid $2300 to have my front end rebuilt, and front brakes done. Brakes lasted 30, 000 miles and charged me $100 dollars for a universal that cost $30 . When I was redoing my brakes found out they put the dust shield on backwards and then beat it into place so it wouldn't hit!
