It is Thursday night at 7:30 your truck just pulled out in front of about three cars coming down Campmeeting Road In Bolton Connecticut. They were pulling off Finley Street taking a left on Campmeeting Road and almost crashed into us. Whoever is driving your needs to be told how to drive. I definitely don’t want that company taking care of my car no, thank you

My family has had nothing but positive experiences with mill street auto. Scott has always been so understanding and helpful with the entire process. My family have bought several cars from mill street and will continue to buy. Highly recommended.

I wrote a previous review and as i scrolled down the list of reviews i was shocked to see how many negative reviews there were. So i thought id write another review going into detail as to why I truly believe Mill Street Auto deserves all 5 stars. (truthfully id give them more if i could.) So from the very first phone call I could tell Scott was going to get my business, simply because he has a great personality, and is a car salesman at heart. I work at Cornerstone the homeless shelter in Vernon and Mill st is right down the road from my work. Scott drove the car I contacted him about to my work since I couldn't leave to come see it myself. He has gone above and beyond from the jump. Moving through the sale we had a few road bumps, which Scott patiently helped me work through, the DMV had put my birthdate as my death date making it impossible to register the car in my name, and Scott made it seem so effortless getting over these hurtles. After buying my vehicle, which i must admit Im smitten over, I noticed a few days of owning the car that its shifting very strange. I called Scott, and once again i was at work, he drove down to me in another vehicle, put a dealer plate on it, and drove my car back to the shop. When they discovered that my transmission line needed to be replaced he continued with lending me the loaner car and dealer plate. They fixed my car very promptly, I returned the loaner car in trade for my car and so far im more than happy. My ENTIRE experience was 5 star worthy, but id definitely say the respect you give goes a long way.

Had a minor fender bender, and my car was towed to this place. Sat for about 6 days, was charged a total of $507. No work was done to it, it just sat there parked. The mechanic didn’t even know it was there on the third day. We were told we would get a call back on day 4, which we did not. They were a pain to get in contact with, and very short and rude on the phone. Not interested in helping whatsoever. Charged us a diagnostic fee for looking at clear damage and just saying we can’t drive it. Didn’t need an expert for that one. Avoid at all costs, a rip off, and rude. Could’ve just been my experience. But I’d never recommend this to ANYONE I liked. 0/5

Be very careful buying cars from this place. I understand the "as is" policy on used cars. I also understand not fixing something like a shock before selling a vehicle. But selling a vehicle with a rotted brake line and not disclosing it is a safety hazard. The mechanic who fixed it said that he gets a lot of business from this place, so expect many repairs to be done on any vehicle bought here.

Mill Street is a standup place!! The entire crew at mill street all have 1 objective and that's to ensure you as a customer have a great experience!! My wife and I have gotten into two different accidents and both times went to Mill Street, they take care of Everything can't say enough great things about them. Definitely a local company I want to spend my money at!! Thanks again Mill Street Crew!!

My kid totalled my car. They were professional and helpful as we cleaned it out. They helped me take my kayak rack and plates off. Not the best situation, but a good experience non the less.

Scott has been so helpful since my car was in an accident and towed there. He has been so friendly and completely understanding of my situation it has made at least a little part of this whole process so much less stressful. I'm glad my car was brought here and not somewhere else. Thank you Scott!!

Back on Christmas Eve 2019 I got into an accident where someone hit my drivers side door and shattered my window. I just got my car back Saturday and if anyone needs a body shop in Vernon, Mill Street Auto was amazing. They have been the nicest and most helpful during this entire process. Dealing with the insurance companies has been a nightmare but these guys were the most understanding and accommodating. They gave me their cells that way I can text them and even met me after their work hours so I can sign paperwork and even pick up my car on a weekend. Their tow driver even brought me home (which was around the corner) to drop off all of the Christmas gifts I had in my front seat. These guys were incredible and I wish I could add a photo of a before and after because my car looks brand new.

This is late but i was reading reviews and people judge off of one bad experience. But me and my friend got into a car accident about 8 or 9 months ago. And i know a couple people who work and have worked there and the accident happened litterally 7 minutes down the road and they picked it up and helped us and guided us in the right direction of getting the check from the insurrance company and wasnt charged for the tow. Everyone was very friendly and considerate and explained everything in depth. Im hoping to try out their buy here pay here cars within the next couple days. Update: i recently bought a car from here and some unforseen problems occurred and they towed the car for me and put money into it to find out that it wouldnt be worth fixing. And even though the car was as is he still went out of his way to help me get into a different car. He was very friendly and accommodating through this situation. But in the end im happy with the outcome. I was able to get my car. And everything worked out in the end. Thanks ed! I greatly appriciate everything you did for me!

I had the best experience working with the crew at Mill Street Auto. After a recent collision, I brought my car in for body work. From the towing to getting body work done, everything was done professionally and with the utmost care. I highly recommend this shop for any car body work needs. Their staff member Steve was exceptionally great in taking care of my car and me. I will definitely be returning if I need additional work done.

My girlfriend got into a car accident with her PT Cruiser in Vernon and was towed to Mill St Auto. During the whole ordeal I talked face to face and over the phone several times with one of the employees named Scott and he seemed like a nice guy and was very considerate when it came to helping me and my girlfriend. In the beginning I could tell he was a little apprehensive probably from having to deal with people being upset because their car needed to be fixed, but he still seemed friendly and went out of his way to help us when he could. I noticed this place has a few bad reviews, but I realize some people you'll never be able to make happy and they're going to find something to complain about. The truth is we don't live in a perfect world. Mistakes can happen. The important thing is correcting the mistake and being honest which is something I believe Mill St Auto tries to do.

Awesome experience! I was very happy with the whole process. Someone smashed into my front bumper and Ed's shop was quick, efficient, and helpful. They really treat you like family. I will definitely be doing business with them again!

Honestly I wouldn't even give one star! After a kind person was so willing to pay a tow fee for my boyfriend, I wanted to call and make sure she got her change back. When I called the shop, I was put on hold in the middle of talking. After finding out she had received her change, I was hung up on so quick it was unbelievable. The manager was rude and didn't care that I was still talking because "he had so many other calls coming through." I understand, I also work somewhere where there are lots of calls at once. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is horrible!

There driver was stopped at a light jeep looking back u can see his head turn from the mirrors.. turn on his stobe lights and ran the light in doing so almost hit a car who had the right away .that was today April 14th 2018.. I am trcp certified. Tom who teaches the class clearly states amber lights do not have the right to run red lights and almost plowing thew cars . This company hires non safe drivers and in will be making a complaint to the owner witch I know wont do anything . Looks like I need to start riding with my go pro again. To explose people who brake the law who knows maybe they will send tickets in the mail

Needed a battery jump 15 minutes away from this shop. I called and was told to wait up to an hour. Two and a half hours later I am still waiting. No update from the driver. I specified I only needed a jump, not a tow. Can't think of a good excuse for this tardiness. Update: it's been over three hours and no help. Mill Street kept saying their truck broke down and later told me they had to help other customers. No update from their truck driver either.

Opposed to many other reviews here, I have never had a bad experience with Mill St. Auto when it came to towing or any other thing for that matter. My car's engine blew on the highway, I called Mill St. two days later to sort out a tow and a technician was there within 10 minutes to pick it up. He dropped it off exactly where I wanted it and was extremely helpful. 3 days ago, I had that same car towed again to my residence and it went just as smooth. These guys know what they're doing, let them do their job and everything will go fine.

I hope im leaving this review for the correct company. I called triple a for a tow. They sent a tow from Mill Street auto .. I waited about 2 1/2 hours in my car. Of course a bit frustrated from the long wait but Chuck went above and beyond.. very helpful guy! Thanks for your generosity. We need more good people like you in this world.

I was hesitant about bringing my car to mill street auto at first; because my insurance company referred me to a different shop. After to speaking to one of my friend, Chris Army, he referred me to mill street auto. I was skeptical but after seeing the shop and speaking to the owner and decided to go with it. Mill street auto honestly made the experience extremely easy for me. They paid my deductible which really helped. They offered me a loaner car. After a little bit of a wait I recieved my car back and it looked brand new. Mills street auto is definitely a shop I would recommend to anybody with damages on their vehicle.

I wish I could give them negative stars. This place was a joke. Everything that they said they would do while my car was at the shop was a lie. I actually had to call and track down people to pick up my car when they said it would be done after they closed the shop without an update for me. putting parts in my car without approval and spending double the original estimate for lame work. Taking double the time they said. They say they will save you your deductible but in reality they over charge everything and they don't do what they say. I never saw my deductible and they made my insurance company pay out over $1,400 over the insurance estimate. The original estimate also stated no one was at the shop with the estimator went to look at my car. They left my car in the back with the keys in it only behind a flimsy chain link fence. The loaner car they gave me was a gas guzzling POS. They also wouldnt tow it back to themselves when it got a flat. They are a towing company mind you. The office lady is rude and talks down to you. I thought going to a "mom and pop" shop would be worth it and give back to smaller companies but it proved to me what everyone says about garages. Trash. Customer service was garbage and make sure you make copies of your estimates because they will be doubled when you go to pick your car up. This place needs to be sued.

Where do I begin with this horrible excuse of a tow service? I was broken down in the mall parking lot, and I needed a tow. I called a Mill Street Auto at the recommendation of a mechanic and omg were they bad. I called the number listed on Google 4 times in the span of 25 min before receiving a call back from a non-listed number. The guy on the phone was rude, inattentive and gave zero details about what was to happen. He just said, "Leave the hood up and my guy will be there in 15 min." It was more like 45 min, but who's counting. The guy that showed up gave nothing but attitude and was reluctant to tow it and insisted I was doing something wrong. After him trying the same exact things i had for an hour, he finally gave an attitude and told me I would have to follow him because I didn't have AAA. Upon arriving at the shop, he refused to pull my car off the flat bed until I paid him $121 in cash. He claimed there was no other accepted form of payment and he couldn't leave it with the shop (who had recommend them because they have an account with the tow company). He started getting really nasty until I called his boss to set the record straight. After hurrying to pull my car off the flat bed, he said some really awful things and proceeded to jump in the truck and peel out away. I word to the wise, don't use Mill Street Auto Towing. Their drivers will try to scam you out of money.

We've had nothing but problems with what should have been a simple low mileage car we bought from Eddie here. Even though the CarMax was clean, it must have been abused or in a crash. The car would not pass emissions after we brought it home, but we are told it's our $900 problem now. Four trips to emissions and still more issues with the car. Radio broke after one month. Tires were out of alignment. Front brakes were gone. What an idiot I was to take the car without emissions test. Awful place.

1 star is to good for these clowns. I had a flat tire and called AAA. They send out Mill St Auto. He pulls out my spare and finds its flat. He wants to put it on anyway. I asked if that was a good idea. He tells me, sure it is he'll follow me to the closest gas station so I can put air in it. I told him that didn't sound right hut he assures me over and over that he does this all the time. Now I have a flat tire and my spare tire is shot as is the rim. My car didn't drive right after I had the tire replaced. They paid to have that fixed. They took over a week and a half to replace my spare and when I went to get it because I didn't want them touching my car in any way they threaten to call the cops and don't want to give me the tire. They lie to your face and over the phone and they try to intimate you when you don't agree with them. Terrible people. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS.

I was in a Jam, I locked my keys in my Wrangler at a gas station while passing through town. You might be asking yourself, how on Earth do you lock your' keys in a Wrangler? Rest assured, it is possible when its 10 degrees outside with windchill and you have the hard top on. To make matters worse, my trusty canine was also in the car and I do not have a spare key. Mill St. Auto shows up no more than 5 minutes later and gets me back on the road in no time. I can't thank them enough!

Bought an SUV that had some body damage. Brought it to Ed over at Mill Street and when it came out I didn’t think it was my car. Looked like it just came out of the show room. Unbelievable job! Couldn’t ask for a better shop....Not enough good things to say! Awesome, Awesome and just AWESOME!!!
