Fast and efficient. So much easier then grocery store redemption machines.

Excellent service. Now, that I know how to package my cans and bottles, the process goes pretty quickly.

1st time there. They would not take any IPA cans or Happy Daddy and like 12 other types. Waste of my time.

Pre sort and count your cans and bottles. It is extremely fast and efficient

Beware this place doesn't count all your bottles. The owner passes them thru the machine very fast you never see the actual count for your bottles. You rather go to another redemption where you see your bottle counts.

It's easy and fast to turn in $30 worth of bottles and cans. You don't have to feed containers into the machines one-by-one like the grocery store. They counted a carload of my deposit returns in a matter of seconds and handed me cash. Real close to the highway.

Always fast efficient service! The staff is very helpful and nice, wouldn’t return our bottles anywhere else!

I was there the other day and the supervisor who I could barely understand told me she would not take some of my cans because they were from a microbrewery when in fact I bought them at a liquor store in Manchester and they were marked ctrv which means they are eligible for a $0.10 redemption. They were from a microbrewery in Virginia but are sold in Connecticut with the ctrv label. She just kept saying that they don't make any money on them. Not my problem. If they say CT or CTRV The law says they're returnable in Connecticut.

Good place as long as you have everything sorted. Cans, plastic (water bottle size), larger plastic (like big juice bottles) and glass bottles (beer!) must be in their own boxes or a small box.

Super fast, was there for less than 5 minutes. Cans can be in bags however glass needs to be in original containers or a cardboard box, not loose in a bag.

If you have big bags of returns, stay out of the grocery store and go here!! I pulled up to three people in front of me, luckily they were busy trying to sort out their multiple bags of bottles. I walked right up, dumped my cans, got cash in hand in literally two minutes!! 👍

The location in South Windsor wouldn’t take craft beer returnable bottles and cans, so we called Vernon. They said they don’t take craft beer returnables. Huh? How the heck do you define “craft?” I have cans from several Connecticut breweries. The breweries distributed and I bought them at the local grocery store. No signs, no definition of craft just a rude man tossing cans off the belt saying “craft!” Fix your website! You very clearly say that you take cans from micro breweries. Or post what you don’t take. I have cans from large Connecticut breweries that you wouldn’t take. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This place is great, especially if you have a large number of bottles. The bottle sorters can handle them fast and efficiently, compared too the machines found at retail stores.

Usually it's great being under 5 min to get in/out but today they are turning everybody away so now I have to store my bottles/cans for another 2 weeks before I can go again. If course that's assuming they don't turn people away again in 2 weeks.

My daughter and boyfriend reurned over $416 worth of cans and bottles last weekend. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very patient. They provided my daughter with clear bags to use in the furure and explained how to organize the cans and bottles for a quicker return experience. Highly recommed!

Update: they no longer accept cans from microbreweries, you will have to return these to the brewery you bought them from. Service is still efficient. I was told Saturday’s are typically busy. I waited at least 30 min this Saturday Fast service with 3 sorting machines at this location. I suggest separating cans, plastic bottles, glass and 2L before arriving. The machines won't count 2L bottles, you have to manually count these. You can pre-count your returnables in clear plastic bags. Glass bottles need to be in cardboard boxes. They accept cans from microbreweries. The website is very clear on what to expect. Not sure why I have to separate my plastics further (water bottles and sodas). I didn't have to do this at the south windsor location. Workers are friendly and helpful.

This Bottle Redemption center is WONDERFUL. We travel an hour to get here and are here usually less than an hour. Both times we've been the staff has been super friendly, they are quick and easy to work with. I'll continue to keep coming to this redemption center over and over again

Fast and easy. No sooner had I unloaded my bottles and cans (I presorted) and I had my money in my hand. Couldn't have been easier!

This place is amazing if you have a large amount of returnables. I had three large contractor bags of cans and plastic (which need to be separated beforehand FYI) and it took me 10 minutes for 550 total. The gentlemen who were working there are super helpful as it was my first time there. It’s not the cleanest place but they’re dealing with your filthy returnables. It was a great experience

In and out FAST! No sticky fingers! Great Attitude! Very friendly! Clean atmosphere! Very helpful staff! Instead of stuffing machines one bottle at a time, dump your bags onto the conveyor and your done and paid in minutes.

The staff are friendly and helpful and make processing large amounts of bottle returns easy and hassle free. You get your cash right away. Much better experience than waiting on long lines at the grocery store bottle return, especially when those machines break down.

Was my first time there and was amazing. Everything was clean and organized, the employee was very kind and treated me with respect. She showed me how everything works and I had my cash back for the bottles in just a few minutes. That will be my spot for cans and bottles return from now on.

The Vernon Redemption Center is Fast, Easy and convenient. Easy to find and clearly marked on where to drive up to. The staff is friendly and attentive. Our volunteers do pre-sort and bag all of our deposits ahead of time which does make it easier and faster at the Center but we are in and out in no time at all. Not even 5 minutes today. And we had over 1800 returns. We will continue to come here. Thank you for making it simple.

We’ve gone to return cans and bottles a couple of times now and it is always SO QUICK AND EASY. We bring our bags pre-sorted (plastic/aluminum/glass). It’s vastly superior to having to redeem manually at a grocery store. No more waiting for the right machine only to find out it’s full or broken. And the best part - they pay you cash instead of having to bring a voucher into a store to cash out.

Very clean location. Staff members were attentive & worked extremely quick! There was only 1 person in front of me, however, I was out in less then 5 mins! I’m so glad I can stay local & return all my cans & bottles without to drive to multiple stores!

Quick, easy, clean and convenient! We used to go to their South Windsor facility, but this one is so close, better parking and we were in and out in no time with a minivan full of returns. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is our go to for returns from now on!

Our experience at Vernon Bottle Return was so efficiently completed. That gal who helped us with over a thousand items was very friendly and so helpful. We will recommend this service to our friends, neighbors and family. We are looking forward to going back again. The place was very clean and very fast.
