Poor quality service. Driver was rude and Nasty. Actually I would give them no stars

Diesel pickup would not start. My roadside assistance company dispatched them to give me a jump. They arrived in the estimated time. Driver tried a jump pack, no dice. Hooked up my jumper cables because they didn't have theirs, no dice. Told the driver I usually keep it connected for 20 minutes to be able to start it - he gave it one more try and declared it wasn't going to start. Definitely had more important places to be. Total time waiting in the snow: 70 minutes Total time attempting to start my truck: 7 minutes

I had a great experience after having a horrible day with a rental car stuck in park and wouldn’t drive. The rental company set up the tow and I drove along with Kyle. Very nice young guy. He was slightly late but only by 15 minutes. Great conversation on our 50 minute drive and he dropped me off in Waterbury and made his way to the airport with my rental in tow. I felt bad it was raining and he was probably going to get home late but he definitely helped make my day better.

Highly recommend! When several other towing companies said they couldn’t tow my car without the key, Alexander from Meagan’s saved the day and did it in no time. Thank you!

They were assigned to me through Allstate Roadside, and I was worried when I saw the reviews. But they arrived on time and dropped my car off exactly where it was supposed to go.

Horrible service. Showed up to wrong place over an hour after promised time. And then couldn’t manage to get car without moving car from parking garage and further causing damage to engine of car. Do NOT use. Worse service ever.

I locked myself out of my car and Dutch was extremely helpful and kept us appraised of his arrival time. Would recommend.

5 HOURS late, rude driver, damaged my car, and then tried to charge me triple the price. Customer service is a joke—no apology, no help, just thieves. Stay far, far away if you value your time and money. Zero stars if I could.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Five hours late, rude driver, and they damaged my car and refused to take responsibility. The bill was 3x higher than quoted with random "fees" I wasn’t told about. No customer service, no accountability, just a bunch of scammers. DO NOT use this company. You’ll regret it.

The WORST service I've ever encountered. I wish I could give negative stars. This towing company is a complete scam, and I wouldn't trust them to tow a toy car, let alone anything real. I had to wait over FIVE HOURS for a tow after being told it would be “30 minutes.” They never bothered to update me, and when I finally called for an update, they acted like I was the one causing the delay. When the driver arrived, he was so rude, barely even acknowledged me, and treated my car like it was garbage. He scratched up my bumper, broke my side mirror while trying to load it, and had the nerve to say, "It’s not my problem." After asking for help, he just walked away without a word. And when I tried to contact the office to file a complaint, the customer service rep was unbelievably dismissive, telling me it was my fault for “not being patient.” As if waiting five hours wasn’t enough! Now, the bill is outrageous — a “flat fee” for a tow that ended up being three times more than the original quote, with hidden fees for "administrative costs" and "hazardous environment" charges that weren’t even mentioned. These guys are robbing people blind and have no intention of being accountable for anything. Do yourself a favor: do not EVER use this company. I wouldn't trust them with a wheelbarrow, let alone a car. They’re crooks, and it’s obvious they couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction. Stay FAR away.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any service company. After waiting over 3 hours (despite being told 45 minutes), the tow truck finally showed up—no apology, no explanation. The driver was unbelievably rude, rolled his eyes when I asked a question, and acted like helping me was a huge inconvenience. To make matters worse, they damaged my vehicle while loading it, and when I brought it up, I was met with complete denial and zero accountability. When I called the office to file a complaint, the person on the phone was just as dismissive—zero customer service, zero professionalism. And the bill? Outrageous. Hidden fees tacked on for things that were never mentioned upfront. This place is a scam, and I wouldn’t trust them with a tricycle, let alone a car. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration. Go anywhere else.

I had the misfortune of using this towing company, and it was a complete disaster. They were late, unprofessional, and caused more stress than necessary. The driver was rude and seemed completely uninterested in helping. Not to mention, the price was outrageously high for the service they provided. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the headache and choose someone else.

HORRIBLE! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I waited for hours and called over 20 times with no answer, I got in touch with them after 3 hours waiting and they told me ETA was 20 minutes. I waited hours after only for no one to show up. YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! This is disgraceful!

Your driver’s need to learn how to drive and not cut people off especially when it’s hot and raining out . That can cause hydroplaning. Maybe one day the truck will be smashed if you clearly don’t hire people that can drive correctly. Not that you care because you’re rated 3 stars regardless .

I can only echo what so many others have already written here: I was assigned to this company through Maserati Roadside Assistance. They never showed. They didn’t answer my calls, nor the calls from Maserati Roadside Assistance. After three hours, I was reassigned to a different company. You better hope you do not have to depend on this “company” if you’re in need of emergency roadside assistance! They are NOT COMING, and NOT RESPONDING!!!

Unbelievable! SMH Tow truck driver showed up and had a bad attitude the minute he saw my car on Jack stand. I asked .. don't you have the tools with your flat bed truck to take the car? His immediate response " I do but that's not my job" I guess I have to call the insurance company again and find someone who does do their job to full completion. would give the name but he mumbled it. He Made a call and took off. Can someone please tell me in full detail what a tow trucks job is then? I was under the impression that they are to pick up a car no matter the condition!

Terrel from the company "Meagan’s Towing and Recovery" was super professional, on time and respectful. Took notes/pics, listened to the problems, addressed the problems/concerns and did his job quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend! Amazing and reliable company and the employee, Terrel that they sent to tow my car is ? Highly Recommended! He also let me know when my car got dropped off to the destination which was a major plus.

DO NOT USE THEM - THEY WERE A NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO ANSWER & VOICEMAIL FULL. I have a flat tire on my Subaru loaner. This company accepted the job with Subaru Roadside Assistance. I waited almost two hours & they never showed up. They never answered Subaru Roadside Assistance calls or my calls for a status & they never called back. READ EVERYONE’S REVIEWS. This is an ongoing issue with them. Do not risk using them when there are plenty other options. If they get assigned to you through a claim, demand a different company.

Good morning my name is Jose and I just wanna let you know that this is the second time that we use the company with nationwide to tow our vehicle our truck. We are so pleased very professional. Do not use this company. The driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. I greeted him after a very rough night and having to leave my car stranded and he completely ignored me. Told me I called the wrong type of tow truck, as if I was supposed to know that. Continued to be the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. He then called me while I was steps away from him to confirm the drop off location. Didn’t even ask if I had a ride or needed one and basically left me stranded at the gas station yet again. I had to call my friend who lives 30+ miles away to drive me home, which was 50+ miles away. I tried to call/email the company, no one has responded. If possible, do not EVER use this company. I am disgusted at the lack of empathy and most importantly, lack of professionalism. If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER AGAIN!

The Tow guy Terral was incredibly sweet and helpful. He has great customer service skills mixing compassion with a bit of humor. We are so very grateful to him for helping us in Norwalk, even though it was cold and rainy. He needs a raise!

Javier was the driver who came out to fix a flat on my van. He also stayed to help assist getting the van door back on its track. He was calm and gracious the whole time. Very patient as I was also looking after my toddler. I would highly recommend this company and this tow truck driver. Knowledgeable, courteous and extremely patient. I cannot thank Javier enough for being an angel.

So Rude and unprofessional tow truck driver, I am disgusted with the amount of disrespect when dropping off a customers car. Never use this company. If I can give them a minus one star would of done it. The company came to my apt. Complex to pick up my BMW car was completely dead nothing working in car. I set up for pick up me not being there they said it was okay. Left key in glove compartment with doors opened not able to lock doors do to car is completely dead . Man get there to pick up car . Says he was not able to take car do you in bad placement of car also that the keys where inside car with doors locked told them impossible do to car completely dead can’t lock doors . They said they will have to charge me to jimmy the door so the can get keys and will be charged for this. Told them no I will be there they decided to leave and not take car . I arrived 20 minutes later car wide opened got key . They tried charging me for something that should have not have been. Be careful with this company they will try to make money off of you in any way shape or form . Will never call them again . Be ware people dishonesty gets you no where .

My mom's on vacation and left her car at my house. After 5 weeks of being away (after she asked me to start it on the 2nd week), it wasn't much of a surprise that it didn't start. Tony from Meagan's Auto - Truck & Equipment came within 20 minutes of the call. He jump started the car in no time. He was very kind and we chatted a little before he went on to save his next customer. I would definitely recommend Tony from Meagan's Auto - Truck & Equipment.

Best towing service I've ever come across. Prompt, friendly and honest. We were in a big jam, almost 2 hours away from our home, late on a weekend. Joe was our tow driver and was excellent. He was positive and turned around a frustrating experience into a positive evening. Joe was very real, friendly and happy to help even though he was on his way home when he got the call. Our car broke down on the way to a concert and he even played the music from the concert we were missing. This guy is customer service gold and deserves the recognition!

I had 2 flat tires and was sitting at a gas station when a Meagan’s truck pulled up. The driver was able to call and get me a good price on a short tow to a tire shop down the road. Really saved me in a jam. Would recommend this company.
