Bought wiper blades from store, duralast brand. One did not work properly. Tried to return within 1 1/2 weeks with about 5 minutes of use on it. I had no receipt. They told me they couldn't find a receipt with my phone number because it does not have a warranty. They would not take it back. He even inspected it to see it was new. Very poor customer service from the man(I assume manager). Would never even look at me only computer screen. Told me nothing he could do. No sorry, nothing, just kept looking at screen.
One of the gentleman there was so incredibly helpful. I had been having trouble getting my car diagnosed and fixed with a mechanic. He got the diagnosis, clearly explained it to me and told me what to do. I can’t tell you how much that helped me.
For years I would drive to neighboring towns to buy parts and supplies a AutoZone. Happy to have a store in recent year in Downtown Thousand Oaks. They have always met or exceeded my expectations and they did now again, with "Miles" handling my exchange/return under warranty provisions. He saved my lots of time and trouble, take from me working in automotive service most of my life, these are good people.

Jose was not only helpful with replacing my car battery but also going the extra distance to figure out the root issue which was a bad alternator. Very thankful especially since it was late in the day.
Update: Justice helped me install a new battery. These guys are more trustworthy or competent than the mechanics I’ve been to. I try to support local business but these corporate guys are clean business.

I came into Autozone in Thoussnd Oaks with less than a smidge of hope in customer care. Having had a poor experience at nearby dealership but in most other businesses in general. I came in search for a car battery. The manager of this store, Mr. Eddson Cajbon not only began our interaction with a cheerful attitude and genuine care to a address my needs but I felt a fatherly guidance in terms of my cars needs. Before installing the battery, he asked me some questions for clarity regarding my battery then he came out to my car and tested my battery. He also looked around for other possible car flags quick and knowledgable. To my surprise, my battery did not need replacing as the dealership convinced me of. My battery was healthy and continues to thrive. In a world of selfish business tactics to drain the customer and increase sales, I am relieved to see that in this Autozone in Thousand Oaks customer care lives on! I have found my Auto needs store. From the tiniest air freshner to future engine parts, you have earned my trust so you have my business. Thank you!

Real real nice people. They took a long time to help me with a part I needed. I have a 1980 Datsun 280zx and the parts are not easy to find. I can't remember the gentlemans name but wow.. HE TOOK HIS TIME thank u thank u thank u. I was there on the 18th at about 2 PM.
My experience in Autozone Auto Parts in Thousand Oaks, CA was truly excellent!
I went in there to buy a Tire Inflator, but as I am 86 years old, (I have lived for 52 years in the USA). I had no idea how to use the Tire Inflator. So I asked Edson, the Store Manager if he could help.
Edson is truly the finest Store Manager in any store anywhere in the USA!! Not only did he come outside to my Car, but he tested my tires--from suggesting that I start the car so as not to drain the battery, to inserting the plug into the cigarette lighter opening, to setting the desired pressure on the Inflator, and then reaching the desired pressure on the tire, when the Inflator shut itself off.
How many Store Managers would show so much concern for the customer? He is truly the best. I wish him well.
