Love this place they have a lit bit and alot of everything. Friendly service and fair pricing.I highly recommend stopping in their you won't be disappointed.
Clean store and friendly staff. They have a huge record album selection (two full rooms), a lot of rocks and gems, many Matchbox and other diecast items, and a large variety of antiques and much, much more. We need to go back just to see it all.
Been here twice. Big place. Half jewelry and gift shop with tremendous gemstones and half motorhead goodies. Antique tools, model cars and records downstairs. Massive mural on the building. Needs a little more organizing but that case with everything in it is fun to look at anyway! Cool stuff. I picked up a bookend set, happy hobo!
This store is very good, inside there's a lot of stuff people would like. But one complaint is that they close 30 minutes early. Tried to call, and nobody answered.
A fun place to visit, but the second hand items that are not antiques are pretty overpriced. The kids clothes averaged $3-$10 a piece for stuff you could find at goodwill or another thrift store for less than $3. Otherwise it was fun to look at all the history.
Nice place. The owner ( though jokingly) seems horribly suffering from OCD because my daughter was looking for a nice top and she was told that he had placed the clothes 1 in apart and now he had to go back and fix it. Very rude and disrespectful
My husband and I were intrigued by a YouTube video so we had to check out Karma New & Used. This store is even more impressive in person. The owner was very personable, prices were reasonable and the inventory was widely varied. I was impressed with how clean and organized the store is. It's well worth a trip, and we will be back.
Been coming here for over two years. My favorite place in black river falls. The owner knows his stuff! I always find cool things that I may or may not have been looking for. I’m a dvd person so the downstairs area is like heaven for me. The owner is a really cool person to talk to. The reviews complaining about him are just people offended because they weren’t respecting his business. I talked to him and we got a kick out of it. Remember, there’s always another side to the story. Also remember that it’s a business and you need to respect that. I always love coming here because I could talk to Dave for a long time. Many cool things too. Good deals on things way more expensive at other places. Love this place!
I was absolutely fascinated by this gentlemen's store. I had walked by many times and never really looking beyond the window display until one day when I was killing time I decided to go in . It's not a typical store. I can't really say it's an antique store. I can't really say it's a modern store. Its not a pawn shop although one can buy,trade, and or sell. The volume of items is breath taking. Dave whom I had the pleasure to meet is an authentic down-to-earth guy. He was very polite and welcoming. If your in the area or have a chance to go do not miss the opportunity.
Went here and saw some gas mask canisters I wanted to potentially buy i went to look at it cause I was interested in buying it I was reading what it said when he told me not to touch it and started cursing me out I will not give this man another dime this guy shouldn't he even allowed to have a business he is clearly not looking to sell stuff and before this he was playing video games and not even looking at me and my dad we didn't do anything wrong we decided to leave for our own safety in the end. this guy should really not run a business.
How nostalgic & adorable is this place!? My thimbles are hard to find, but they had them. The store is neat, well organized, a blast from the past. A must-visit location for all things of yesteryear.
You won't find someone as detailed as this owner. Not only can you ask about anything antique seeing how he is a licensed professional, but you can also sell directly to him. I've had many good experiences and cool finds at this business. Strike up a conversation maybe find something you were looking for.
Nice well-stocked store and courteous owner. Visit the basement for more items -- the stairway is at the rear of the store. This store makes a great destination trip.
Don't be deceived by the few negative reviews. This store is not a playground; it has many antiques, some very expensive. Anybody with common sense should know not to touch or play with the merchandise. "Do not touch" signs cannot be placed on every item in the store. If you need to inspect an item closely, then ask for help.
My dad had to sell his car in 1994 because he couldn’t fit a carseat at the back. I had been looking for a model of that car for 10 years, you can imagine my joy finding it at this awesome place.
The record collection is varied and VERY well priced for the condition. Snatched a first edition Donna Summers and Bee gees record.
The owner is a kind and interesting man who takes care of his store. Take care of his things and he will take care of you.
Would highly recommend, a must visit when in town.
My friend and I stopped in on a whim and we are over the moon we did. We were greeted with two huge floors of a little bit of everything you could be looking for. The owner was also super friendly and was very knowledgeable about everything in his store. You can tell he loves his work. 10/10 experience, will definitely stop by anytime I’m in black river falls.
We had only made it 6 or 7 feet inside the entryway when the owner verbally assaulted my teenage daughter and my nephew.
This man seemed to be on the edge of having a serious issue and could care less about having paying customers in his store.
After politely asking him to not use such strong profanity around the kids, he offered us the door several times. We decided for our own safety, that leaving the establishment would be a wise choice, and took our money elsewhere.
We will never return to this store, even though so many items looked to be promising.
You may fare better than us, if the only thing you touch, is the door knob.
Had a pleasant experience here in 2021. Was looking forward to a new visit. This is how it went. 7/10/23. Will not be returning. Wasn’t open an hour after opening time so we waited around and did other things in the area. Came back. Walk in the door and see a CD jukebox player. There was a sign he was selling on it so we picked it up to look. We were reading what the mechanics of the machine said behind it. Potentially interested in buying. The store owner comes up to us me (19 female) and my cousin (15 male) and starts cussing us out. Not to touch, don’t f with it. More than once in a loud tone used profanity at us. There was no sign saying not to touch. We calmly asked him not to use that language and he yelled “it’s my store and if you don’t like it you can leave.” We explained we’ve been here before and paying customers. But he lost it. So we left.
In a small town word travels. And apparently he’s rude in general. We did not get customer service here. Pictures outside are fun, but do not visit.
Not too much soda advertising. I wish there were more options but something is better than nothing. The rock section was cool and the vinyl section downstairs was nice but very overpriced. The person behind the counter was very attentive and sweet.
Love tinkering through the store, chatting it up with the friendly owners about their fine finds. Very affordable collective of collections. Great place for gift shopping. ?
Hurry. Stop what your doing and stop here!!!! We are camping nearby from the twin cities and spent the day at Lake Wazee. My son was determined to find crystals at the beach for me as I’m a huge crystal lover but he didn’t find any lol and was bummed so I looked out of curiosity to see if BRF had any crystal places. I didn’t think there would be any nearby so I was shocked to find this place. Being it was almost 5 (closing time for today) we jumped out of the lake and packed up. I was thinking since it’s an antique store there would be hardly any crystals so I was so excited to see they had a HUGE selection of crystals from all different price points. Whether you’re huge into crystals or just like them because they are pretty you have to stop here. Beautiful selection of wonderful crystals. My son and I each found 2 we love and we are so happy. Even if you’re not a crystal lover this store is a must stop as they do have a bunch of fun antiques that make you reminisce about your childhood (I’m not that old LOL) or remind you of your grandparents. Fun store and we will be back next year during our annual jellystone trip!!
Also, the bald bearded guy was SO nice. So patient and so friendly. Definitely a small town feel.
I'm an energie healer so my niece took me here I'm so happy we went. 2 1/2 hours later I didn't see bottom floor, It was like a time capsule with a vibe.
Karma New and Used has become my new favorite store. I love crystals, and this place has the largest, and best selection anywhere! These are the ones I just picked up today. Inside the store is breathtaking!
