Called Bob’s on getting my 1999 Ford f-350 7.3 diesel worked on. Explained I was experiencing engine problems, and that I already in a tight spot because the previous shop I had the truck at, kept it for 5 months and didn’t turn a single bolt. Explained it was a work vehicle I used in the Summer and that I was willing to pay whatever it would take to get the job done right. Paid hundreds of dollars to get it towed there, left it there for almost a month, for them to call me and say it had engine problems and they weren’t willing to work on it. My guess is they might have hooked it to a code reader like I could have done at home, and let it sit for a month. So if you’re looking to get any REAL work down on your truck, save your time look elsewhere.
DON'T LET OTHERS FOOL YOU ON REVIEWS. Bobs auto is awesome. I had to have a simple task of changing coolant in my car and they did it on spot and swiftly when no one else in Beckley would. Also they pointed out problems I could run into and offered services of which I will follow up on. They took time out to check my brakes rotors and even for leaks anywhere in the cooling system. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FAIR PRICED!
Told my truck there they said they'd look at it and fix it didn't fix it cost me $300 to have it towed there then they wanted all their lot charged me $1,000 to have it towed to Ohio which was not a bad deal told me the motor need p u l l e d put a main seal in it, and all I needed was a seal in the high pressure oil pump a $400 fix
I stopped by here for a state inspection. I had a few small brake lights out on the very top of my hatch of an 09 ford escape. they told me it would be 25 then they said 35 then after they put the light bulbs in and put on my new sticker it was 47. DO NOT GO HERE
Me and a couple friends were passing through on a road trip when our car broke down. We explained our situation, and they saw us within an hour. He had our car back in driving shape and on our way in 15 minutes and didn't even charge us! What nice people who really helped us when they didn't have to! Be sure to give them your business if you need a car repair in the area!
Some time ago we were on our way home from FL in our RV. Engine died just past tolls in Beckley & we were towed here. Amazing service. Thinking it would take time to diagnosis, the owner drove us to nearby hotel and then called about 3 hrs later to say they had fixed the issue (spark plug wire & fuel pump) & could come get us. $100 later we were on our way. Integrity and professionalism above the call from this place. Just good people!!

My daughter broke down passing through Beckley on. Sunday. Her truck was towed to Bob's. They diagnosed and fixed it and she was back on the road by 2 on Monday. It was the power steering belt. They noticed her oil was low and even filled that up. Under $300 for a Volvo SUV, very reasonable price and great quick service!
These guys were great! We were stranded in Beckley with a vehicle which was running terribly. They got right on it and fixed it right for a fair price. Being from out of town, it was a huge relief to find an honest repair shop and not get ripped off. We got home safely without any problems at all. We highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs a vehicle repaired. They are professional, knowledgeable and personable.
Unbelievable excellent place!i broke down in my diesel dually 600 miles from home and they were so above and beyond professional! Even the owner Bob was trying to get me going again! Great Great place!I trust them fully!

Lets just be frank. I took my diesel truck in 2 times because it was acting up and vibrating when i hit the pedal, and idealing rough. The first time it took them 2 weeks to clean the air filter which let my truck run on for about 2 weeks. I took it in thw second time for the same thing it took them 3 weeks to tell me it was a ground wire. Now i drove my truck 1 day and it is still doing the same thing. I looked under the hood and nothing has been done. My aor filter is just laying in its box and no dust has even been disturbed on my engine. This tells me nothing has been done other then it was let set untill stuff settled and it idealed correctly. 250 dollars and nothing done. A little upset at this point. Do not recomend this shop at all. I am going up there today to see if he will make it right and will update this review accordingly.
