I wish I caught the gentleman’s name so I could thank him personally. But last year I locked my keys in my car and I went to O’Reilly’s to see if they had something I could purchase to retrieve my keys. The man at the counter let me take his personal equipment all the way back to my car to get the keys out. Which he did not have to do. Then today, I go in for new wiper blades and without asking or hesitation, in the pouring rain, the same man goes and changes them out for me. Good people at O’Reilly’s.
I am sitting outside of O’Reilly’s now as Jennifer and Kimmie replace my battery. They have been so helpful and kind. It’s never fun to have to drop money on something like this but I always feel taken care of at my neighborhood shop. I know they provide honest feedback about my car and help me get back on the road! Picked up some switches for rewiring my boat. 2 of the switches broke before I could get them installed. I cleaned up 2 of my old switches so I could go fishing.

Exceptional service and great experience! Came by for parts, was given instruction on how to change the part, and it was taken care of by the associate in the parking lot! Kimmie was the team member that assisted me, and there was another gentleman that helped as well! Always feel confident going to this location, thanks for all you do!
Aaron, Neil, and Frankie went above and beyond to help me trouble shoot and install a very difficult to work with alternator. I was in a bad spot didn't have anyone to help me out and these gentlemen went the extra mile they didn't have to. Very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful crew. I grew up in a small town where you helped your neighbor and walking in this store reminded me a lot of that small town sense of community. They didn't have to help the way they did or to the extent they did but they went that extra mile for someone in need and it means a lot.
This store took great care of us! Aaron spent extra time on the phone with me multiple times to help troubleshoot an ignition issue and order parts. He even put together a package for my mother in law to pick up to save me a trip into town. Very knowledgeable, great selection of parts, top notch customer service!! Thanks guys!!
My husband called this store looking for a battery for our vehicle, after calling other competitors in the area. While this store offered the same battery at the same price as a couple of the competitors... the other retailers could have never competed with the customer service that this O'Reilly's provided from the first point of customer contact. Aaron was very informative, well-spoken, and went above and beyond with letting us know the cold cranking amps, the pros and cons of all tiers of battery this company offered as well as the warranty information for each item. We have an competing store literally a quarter of a mile from our home and we went out of the way to head down to this location! Aaron was equally awesome in person. He and his coworker delivered awesomeness and also were very child friendly to our son while we shopped. They both went above and beyond the scope of customer service that was expected. Outstanding sales personnel that aren't overbearing. 11/10 recommend. Thank you!
Ned at O'Reilly Auto Parts was very helpful today. Checked my battery, found it had a dead cell, and got the battery swapped, all within 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend!
Cody at the Salem location is an outstanding employee. Professional, excellent customer service and his willingness to help puts him above anyone I've ever dealt with at any auto parts store. Thanks Cody for your help and for being so kind when i needed help with the products you offer. Others could take lessons from him on how to provide stellar service.
I would not recommend this place, you can tell them what you want and they will order you something else. I asked them to order drilled and slotted rotors and when I went to pick them up they had ordered regular rotors. When I informed them they weren’t what I ordered and they just said someone must have ordered the wrong ones with no apology or anything.
The employees do not wear masks and have no barriers or other safety measures. As in the review below, they obviously do not care about their customers. I had hoped this was a one time issue, but I have seen the front counter staff with no masks on my last 3 or 4 visits. My last visit was just that.....my last. Just ridiculous disregard for customers.
Extremely poor concern for their customers and the general public health. No workers in store were wearing masks as per state guidelines. They had a sign next to door stating all in the facility should have masks. I used to shop here but won’t anymore.
This place has the BEST customer service. They always install our wiper blades and today even installed a front headlight. It’s the only place in town to go for auto parts.
Went in looking for an adaptor and found one on the shelf. However it HAD been used, (the employee denied it being used) when i went up to the counter the employee was on his cell phone. When i asked if he had one in the back that HADNT been used he said no.
Knowledgeable, Good parts, Good service and they answer the phone most times without putting you on hold. Usually cheaper than other stores for the same part.
Very poor customer service. Also got a solenoid when picked up it was a used part the someone had already put on a vehicle. Will never be back there again.
I can always get the right parts great customer service always willing to help me solve problems and they always price match that's always 100% satisfaction guaranteed and my five-year-old granddaughter loves the song from the commercials she sings it LOL 👍👍👍👍👍
