Charles and his team made the whole process easy. They identified the problem, gave me options, and I wasn’t pressured.

Went in with a vibration in the rear of my truck. Asked for a complete tire balance and rotation. After service was completed the problem was worse than it was before I went in. Went to a competitors shop had the tires balanced again. The shop said that there was so much weight on the tires its no wonder it was vibrating. It may have balanced out but it was done incorrectly. Truck rides smooth as glass now. I will not return to this place for tires or service.

Charles has been extremely polite, professional, and accommodating. A far better experience than I anticipated.

Please stop at this place for all your tire needs, the staff is wonderful and super fast. I didnt have an appointment and walked in twice in one day for nails in my tires and they helped me out right away.

Dropped my car off on Friday, was told that they wouldn’t be able to get to it the next day. Then the next day they call me and tell me that they don’t have anyone on staff to do a drive belt and tensioner replacement? Excuse me but why did it take you almost 24 hours to tell me that. Super unprofessional, and might I add ALLDATA does provide step by step instructions with diagrams as well. Might want to look into that for the “guy that’s learning to be a mechanic that doesn’t know how to do that” so he can maybe not be completely useless. Will not be back to this location ever, especially after the new management had take over and John had left to valley view. Wish 0 stars was an option, because you don’t even deserve one. Give it time this place will close and it will just be the auto body side.

Super fast and easy to work with picked up a flat on my way to work and were able to get everything done efficiently! Very friendly staff as well!

Excellent service from the front desk with Josh to the technician who took my car out twice to make sure the problem was correctly diagnosed and then later to confirm it was fixed.

Charles and his team were awesome giving my car a much needed oil change and tire rotation. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time my car needs service.

We had a breakdown in Salem Va and had to have our truck towed to NTB for emergency repairs. Charles, the manager went above and beyond to have out repairs finished by Friday night so we could continue our trip home. We got the best service and such nice people. My experience at NTB-Mavis at the Salem store was great! I purchased 4 tires and wiper blades. They checked everything carefully and let me know I needed brake pads on the back 2 wheels. All was completed when promised. Great customer service! Will definitely take my car back to the Salem store.

Both times I've gone to the Salem NTB they patched my tire the same day in less than 30 minutes. Thank you to Josh too for going out of his way to offer to put it back on my car for me for free.

I went in for oil change, low tires, and brake system flush. One of my tires had 2 nails pushed in too far to repair. We had road hazard protection, so my new tire was 70% off! I came out of there fornless than $200.They were kind and explained everything to me. I will always take my car to NTB in Salem, VA.

My family was just beginning a 4+ hour drive home, when I quickly discovered that the shop that did a tire patch just down the highway had not fully balanced my tire after re-mounting on the rim. Once hitting highway speed on I-81, it was apparent that I needed to pull off. Stopped at this NTB location and they pulled my car in immediately to re-balance the tire. They didn't even charge me for the service. Thank you for the excellent help. I purchased these tires a couple years ago at my local NTB, and I will 100% be a repeat customer.

Great place to get your car fixed always treated with respect and they work with you within your budget to get the work that you need done fixed definitely recommend.

I took my truck in for an inspection and these guys are awesome 👏 They were quick, professional, and best of all very friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond and we will definitely be back if we are in need of anything else.

I ordered the tires on the NTB website. My appt time was 8 am. My tires were in the bay. There was a customer there for a state inspection but none for tires. It took 2.5 hours to get my tires mounted and balanced. Terrible service. I bought tires 5 months ago for another car and received great service. I know Mavis bought NTB, if this is the service I can expect, I will go elsewhere.

I needed a tire rotation while traveling out of state. NTB got us in right away with no wait. They did an amazing job. Very fast and very reasonably priced! 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing to stop for tires!

I have been to this location for various repairs and a car inspection over the past 6 months. They are always courteous, never try to overcharge me, and the work always goes faster than I anticipate. I appreciate their time and effort and will continue to bring my vehicle(s) here.

10/10 recommend!!! My daughter got a screw in her tire, I called at around 4:15 and they got us in at 5:00 and had the tire changed and got us on our way in super fast. The staff was all so amazing and kind they really went above and beyond to help us out. And the price was super great. We will be returning for future work.

Good work and quality service! We have had multiple personal and also business vehicles serviced by Tommy/John and their team without any issues. Fair pricing on mechanic work and also tires. Tommy and John are both great to work with and I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending this shop.

Very pleasant experience, they were helpful, knowledgeable, and fixed my car in a timely manner. Their mechanic Tommy Swisher was polite, honest, and patient with me answering my questions and concerns. I left feeling relieved that my vehicle was in good hands and that my car troubles would be taken care of. He got to the root of the problem fixed and had me back in there picking up my car before I knew it. Hats off to him and the rest of the crew I will definitely be returning with any further issues!!!!

I stopped by Saturday afternoon after flying to the area to buy an old Dodge truck with the plan of driving it 1300 miles home. One of the front tires had a broken belt. They changed all 4 tires and got me on the road pretty quickly. The guys were great. They did think we were crazy driving a 27 year old dodge halfway across the country. I would have been stuck on the side or the road without your guys. Thank you again.

What can you do late on a Saturday afternoon when you suddenly find that one of your car tires has lost 20 pounds of pressure? The answer this veteran is happy to have found is to call Joe at National Tire and Battery on W. Main St. in Salem, VA. Joe took my car in immediately, quickly diagnosed the leak and fixed the tire, and all with a smile and thanks for my military service. Thanks, Joe, for your great customer service. I will be back!
