I will only bring my families cars here. I am always treated with a smile and Chris takes care of our cars. I know I am leaving my cars in good hands when I come here and hand my keys over to Chris.
It was long overdue for me to cut ties with the dealership and find a local shop for my 2013 vehicle. Knowing my area had plenty of good auto repair options, I turned to social media for recommendations. Many suggestions were shops I’d driven by or heard of, but one in particular stood out because I had never seen or heard of them before. They didn’t have a ton of reviews, but the ones they did have were mostly 5-star, so I decided to take a chance. What could happen? If I didn’t like it, I’d move on.
This is a small, local shop with a hardworking, dedicated, and honest staff. They didn’t try to upsell me unnecessary repairs; they simply explained what needed to be done and the timeline. All repairs were completed without any issues. Chris is an excellent mechanic and a genuinely good person, and the owner, Tim, is equally wonderful. They were real people who could relate to me as a customer and I never felt like they were trying to take advantage.

These guys are incredible! Dropped my wife's car off on Friday for a routine oil change and get some eyes on it before going on vacation Monday. Turned out she needed 2 new tires. They were able to get them on order, have them in and installed with an alignment by 10am Monday for her to get on the road. Thanks!
My wife went in with a steering issue. Something was scraping whenever she turned left. They test drove our van, realized that there was a branch stuck under the van, and removed it WITHOUT CHARGE. They knew we would be back, and they were right.
We drive our cars for a long time. CCARS understands this, and any recommendations that they make are clearly explained as "must do now" vs. "should consider doing at some point".
When a gasket started going on our 15 year old minivan, they were honest with us that a lot of things on the engine would begin failing in succession, and they sent us to a different repair shop more ready to handle that. We decided to rebuild the engine and replace "every gasket, belt, and hose" in the entire engine which cost "more than the van was worth", but we are still driving it 6 years later. CCARS willingly sent a multi-thousand dollar job to a different shop that was a better choice for that particular repair.
We've been taking our cars to CCARS for three years. I'm always impressed with the quality and promptness of the service. I really trust their judgement on things, and they are always looking out for you when keeping your budget low. Where some auto shops push services to increase their commissions, CCARS helps you avoid unnecessary service costs. I recently had a HID bulb replaced for $40 while using their night time drop off. I had no clue what the cost of that service would run, but I had trust that they would take care of it within reason. $40? More reasonable than I imagined.

Called early for a safety inspection. They promised to get me in when they could. Friendly service, and though it took a while, I was very happy with my experience. I will be back!
We use Tim and CCARS for all our business (veterinary house and farm calls) and personal vehicle repair needs. The repairs are done very well, in a timely manner with no issues. We like that we are able to speak directly to the mechanic about the car problem we are having and having that same person do the repair. Tim is honest, does a great job and never does anything that isn't needed. Couldn't be more pleased.
CCARS. Honest, hardworking people. Great service. Highly recommend for their pricing. Was looking at a laundry list of unneeded repairs elsewhere. No BS. They just gave me the expected price, and that was that. Would recommend that they add more details to their website as there isn't much going for it.

Been using CCARS for 14 years. Owner Tim is honest and service is prompt and done as stated. I've had situations where I suggested something might be wrong with this or that, figuring it would cost a bunch, but Tim has many times told me that what I thought was the problem wasn't the problem and that it was something much more minor and less costly. I don't know where the few bad reviews are coming from except maybe from folks who don't understand cars or the business of estimating repairs. Anyway, five starts for a great local business.
I've brought my 2007 Acura TL Type-S in once a month for the past few months in an attempt to bring the car up to speed as it is now pushing 230,000 miles. Each time, I receive the same great service whether dealing with Sean, Tim, or Mr Ivan Clark. They even go above and beyond with the care they show my vehicle. I see no reason to take my car elsewhere.
I am a dealership service manager but I work in Maryland so I need someone local for state inspections and CCARS is the place- always friendly and fast!
