Be aware of price changes on the fly. I really dislike giving bad reviews, but thought it was necessary for others to know what might be coming.
I picked Roadrunner because of the excellent reviews and they were close by - almost the next town over. They took down all my information on the call - location and vehicle type. I was informed it was going to $175. They said the price could change depending on how much work was involved.
When the tech got there, he spent all of 10 minutes to get me back on the road going again. Then he told me that the charge was DOUBLE.
He told me to call the office, which I did once I had time. They said it was because it was a heavier vehicle type. I guess that constitutes for double?!? That’s a bit ridiculous. Especially since they had all my information to start with - they knew what kind of vehicle I had when I called initially. AND it’s not like they had to get a different truck to do the job. Same truck/same person. And it didn’t seem like it was much of a struggle or took more time.
It didn’t help matters that they said the tech was about 45 minutes away, but in reality it took them almost 2 hours to get there.
I gave them a 2 because it could’ve been worse and ultimately they were able to help. But sheesh! I still can’t get over double the price. Please take their quotes with a grain of salt. They’ll charge you whatever they want apparently.
Sterling was an incredible person who made sure my family got home this day. He genuinely cared and went above and beyond to help us. Lucky to have met this man who drives a tow truck, and I won’t soon forget him.
I didn't initially call Roadrunner when I broke down roadside, as I thought they only did heavy truck towing. They were dispatched by another tow company I called. They got there lightning quick, and made the whole process fast and easy. Not hoping to break down again anytime soon, but will definitely call Roadrunner direct next time if I need a tow!
I didn’t catch the name of the driver, but thank you very much to him and the kind staff for getting me out of my situation in the early AM!! He got to me very quick and his attitude brightened my mood as well. I’ve used a different company in the past and Road Runners price also made the situation so much better! Very grateful for them!
Was merging onto route 7 last Friday night and watched one of their tow trucks swerve/cut off the car in front of us to get ahead of the line. Luckily, the car they cut off was paying attention and braked to avoid a wreck. Then this tow truck driver proceeds to tailgate multiple cars and go well above the speed limit to try and get ahead of the congested traffic.
You guys are supposed to show up after a crash, not cause them through negligence.
Of course I was given an estimated time of arrival of 30 to 60 minutes, Sterling arrived in about 10 minutes and two minutes after that I was on my way!

The gentleman who came and changed my tire for me was so polite and did such a quick, fantastic job! He went out of his way to answer all my questions I had, even though he really didn’t have to. I have used Road Runner in the past as well and have been very pleased as well.
I got a flat tire and needed a tow. My insurance company was taking forever to send someone out. I was able to have Steve come out quickly to give me a tow. Steve was absolutely amazing! He was so nice and respectful. At the end I thanked him and said that I appreciated him treating me so well! He responded that he treats people as he would hope that others would treat him and his family. I would highly recommend Road Runner any day! Thank you, Steve!

Tow truck arrived in 30 minutes, that’s a big plus not having to wait 2 hours or more for a tow truck service.
So grateful for the driver who got me unstuck from the mud. Such a miserable Friday but this is the best part. I'm unsure of the driver's name, but he was phenomenal!
Amazing service! Was told it would take a few days for their service (due to the weekend) and to my surprise I received a notification that they would be there in 45 minutes and the truck actually showed up earlier than that. Rapid response and great communication! Highly recommend.
I simply cannot say enough about the professionalism and knowledge of our driver. He showed up exactly on time which has never happened in my many years of driving and anytime I needed a tow company. His equipment was in great condition and working order. He took the time for us to finish taking pictures of the accident damage and gave advice to insure we took pictures from all angles. This gentlemen cared about our well being and explained what the next steps were. He even went out of his way to help us lift the hood to view the damage. I will be using this company from now on.
Driver was very professional, "he knows his stuff!" and he was extremely accommodating and helpful. It really helps when you get to meet good people during bad times. When most are only in business for money and will run over top of others to get it, it's refreshing to have a few decent individuals that take a little time to make a difference, despite the many pressures from other directions.

Even on a rough day meeting someone kind that’s helping you can make your day a little bit better. Jordan arrived in a timely manner and was very professional. He was able to deliver my car to the dealership quickly. I really appreciate the service. I contacted them through the Ford Roadside assistance and they were in sight within 1 hour.
My tow truck driver, Mark was professional and cheerful. I believe he was my guy 6 months ago. I have used yally 4 times in the last 6 months. Excellent service every time. My truck is going on 21 years old and needed your help getting it to my mechanic in Town . thanks again for outstanding service.
I did not catch the operators name, but he helped place my large truck into a storage unit like a hot knife through butter. Honestly, should have tipped the man more as his professionalism was also top notch. My truck had 1/2 an inch of clearance on either side, from the tires to the walls in the storage unit and he made Quick and simple, barely even needed my help. Thank you Road Runner Wrecker, highly recommend and will use in the future.
The driver that came out to assist me was amazing. He exceeded my expectations and went the extra mile to get my vehicle safely moved. It's unfortunate that I don't have his name but, he provided service for me at the Palisades Apartments in Manassas Park, VA on 08/03/20.
What an awesome experience! The driver came to tow our huge bus and asked what the problem was........locked brakes due to an air line leak. So, he took a look and found the leak and fixed it so we could get on our way! Very happy!

I immediately forgot his name, but think it was Greg. Anyway he helped me jump my Nissan Leaf yesterday and was prompt, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a tow truck driver! Sorry if his name isn’t Greg but I suggest the manager find out who this guy is and give him a raise. I used USAA Roadside Assistance and they dispatched Road Runner. Everything about them was fantastic. The gentleman with whom I spoke on the phone to confirm the dispatch was professional and had a calm and warm demeanor. Within a half hour there was a tow truck in my driveway and that gentleman was great. He had a great attitude and was very friendly. I would highly recommend their service.
Charles was outstanding! He made arrangements to personally tow our vehicle when other drivers were called into service to respond to police related requests. We had waited past the estimated arrival time, called to inquire, and then Charles responded immediately. His tow was professional and he took great care of our car. My wife and I strongly recommend using Road Runner Wrecker Service.

I just want to commend Patrick on his excellent customer service. He went above and beyond last week to assist me in getting into my wrecked vehicle to retrieve my items. The battery was dead and he went and got a portable battery charger so that I could open the trunk. He also assisted me with making sure I had all of the necessary documents so that insurance was able to take a look at my vehicle! It was a very rough week for me last week and his gentle and kind personality put a smile on my face. Kudos to Patrick! Thank you for being awesome! This company has a great man working for them. Steve helped us tonight in getting our car all the way back home. Not only did he tow it, but he went above and beyond by helping us put it in our garage. Thank you Steve for all you did! We will definitely be referring all of our friends!!
