Beey quick and efficient. They communicated rather quickly with the issue and went above and beyond to handle another issue my car was having. Suler friendly, couldn't ask for better service. I b won't use another muffler place.
The owner used to be a really good man but seems he has forgotten the people of Bristol that helped him build his buiness! I will never call them for any work again!!!
Muffler got stolen, Benny's gave me a flowmaster replacement with perfect fitment and a perfect sized tip in 2 hours and fair price. Would go again for any exhaust work needed.
DO NOT go here. The owner is a crook!! My husband took his ‘57 to him to change his muffler to make his muffler a little quieter. This man put his car on the lift then when he reversed the car off the lift the exhaust caught the ground and jolted the exhaust forward. My husband and his father saw this happen!!! The man acted like nothing happened. Fast forward to the drive home, and the exhaust had a veryyyy loud exhaust leak. They thought it was a gasket, when in reality the man cracked the headers when he scraped the exhaust. My husband calls the man back and tells him his car has an exhaust leak after he picked up his car from where the guy scraped the exhaust. The man responds “yeah, I know.” HE KNEW!! And ignored the problem he caused. He told my husband he could bring his car back the next day and he’d fix it. My husband was leaving for a car show in Myrtle beach the next morning. And the guy said that wasn’t his problem, to get with him next week and he’d fix it. Didn’t offer him a refund or anything and knowingly did bad work and was okay with it.
I have been going to this muffler shop for 20 years and so my brothers even after moving farther away I still drive there any time i need work done i only have great things to say about this place i will continue to go there as long as i live thank you guys
This man is dishonest. He messed up my son’s car and knew about it. He cracked his headers when he scraped the exhaust backing off the lift! Even worse my husband and son saw him do it and that didn’t even acknowledge it. My son called the guy on the way home and told him he caused an exhaust leak when he drove it off the ramp and scraped the exhaust bring the car to a complete stop from the force of the impact. The man said “yeah, I know. You can come back tomorrow if you want me to look at it” they were going to a car show the next day and couldn’t. Again the guy did not care and said that wasn’t his problem, to get with him next week. No refund. No remorse.
After digging for what seemed like forever I came to realize that I needed some help but I had none
That's when I looked at my vehicle and when I went to the rear of the vehicle I saw underneath it what I thought was a place to hook a chain
That's when I said yeah Linda you got this the car can pull ( The Rose Bush ) out of the ground
So I hooked the chain to the bracket then to the Rose Bush and I gassed it and I heard a Pop it was the bracket that held the muffler on that snapped loose
Needless to say the Rose Bush won
Realizing what I did and Benny's being less then half mile from my house off I went with no call in just popped in and only had to wait just a few minutes
I was in and out in no time and they only charged me I think $6 or $8
Benny's definitely is the place to go the staff is friendly fast professional courteous etc etc
They sure saved me a tongue lassion.

I had a few friends recommend Benny's, and I'm so glad they did! Great, kind, and honest people who will do what's best for your car. They took care of me quickly (on a Friday afternoon!), and I walked out stress free with my problem solved! Any future exhaust issues, I'll definitely return!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! I wish I could leave zero stars! My sister took her car in because there was a spot that needed to be welded. A friend and her both saw under the car that there was a leak next to the catalytic converter. He told her to take it to Benny’s to be welded. She told him what was wrong he said he would look at it. He came back and said “There is no catalytic converter on your car “!!!!! My sister, afraid of confrontations pays him $96 to “straight pipe it”. Then she went to get in the car and it was missing so bad it was shaking and it was dying!!!! It was also extremely loud. It ran perfectly fine when you pulled in. It was her daily driver. She picks her grandson up at school everyday. He told her “his services were done she needed to leave”. She left in tears out $100 and her car missing a catalytic converter!!! UPDATE: I called them back for her. The woman that answered the phone said “my mechanics are honest”. After I questioned that based on what happened and recent reviews she hung up on me!
I do not recommend this business. I purchased a high performance muffler and brought it to this business to be installed with new exhaust pipes. The pipes rusted in less than a year, and I have photos. The end result was the exhaust pipe breaking and the muffler dragging down the road. I called them, just to be told they could take a look at it and give an estimate. They stated they do not have a computer to track any service records. After trying to get them to make it right and take care of me as the customer, they told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone. Long story short, Friendship Chrysler put on a new piece of pipe and welded the muffler back on. Benny's did not weld it right to begin with, and they do not care about keeping a customer. Without taking care of your customers, your business will not be successful! Thank you Friendship for saving the day and taking care of and valuing your customers!
I tried to call for an appointment for a week but there was no answer. I drove past the shop a couple times & never saw it open so I thought they had closed permanently, but the following week there were cars in the lot & bay doors open. I called & reached the office, but I was told they do not accept appointments - it is first come, first served. I got off work early the following day & brought my car in. I was a little surprised when I entered the waiting room because it looks more like a doctor's office. In addition, when I approached the glass I was not immediately addressed, but rather ignored until their internal communication was concluded. When the window opened, I explained I needed to have my exhaust checked as a result of something I had hit on the highway. The woman emerged from the office, went out to the garage & returned to tell me someone would be in shortly. A tech came to get the keys a minute or two later & my car was pulled into a bay & lifted. The tech was joined by another employee & they inspected the exhaust from the rear of the car to the front where they found the problem. I was told they could not complete the repair - it would have to be done by the dealership. I was disappointed because multiple people had recommended this shop, but I would probably return in the future if I had a less complicated issue.
I paid 750 dollars for exhaust from headers back. They installed high flow cats, flowmaster mufflers, true duals. I go home and a week later there's a exhaust leak. So I took it back to get fixed. They didn't do nothing. Then I took it back and the guy that does the exhaust jumped in my truck slammed the door and squealed my tires. So I go out and tell him not to be doing that. And the other guy started cussing me and wanted to fight me for saying something. Still got a exhaust leak. I'll take it else where and get it fixed. But they lost a valuable customer. My dad uses them all the time and lost him also. Sorry this had to end this way. But I did pay 750 dollars for a good job. Not half way.
That place has been doing business for over 50 years. They have the best price around in the entire trip cities. From the muffler and the normal repairs or a complete custom exhaust for your antique Hot Rod they are the guys to see! Thanks a Ton!
You won't find better work, price or time to get it done. I use them for all muffler and pipe work and just wish everywhere was as honest, friendly, fast and reasonable.

We get our oil changed at Benny's and they know us and always do a good job at a good price. They have done exhaust repairs for us and did that well, too. That is their main business. Like the people!
My muffler fell off while I was out in town. Pulled into Benny's and within 5 minutes they had it up on lift replacing with a new muffler at a great price. I cannot believe the great service at fair price still exists in this day and time but it sure does at Benny's. Great job !!!!
I was going to have a Flowmaster 40 muffler installed the other day but they just cut off the original muffler and pulled me into the shop to let me listen to it without the Flowmaster and I really liked the way it sounds!! If I had gotten the Flowmaster 40 muffler it would have costed me $160 but since it is just straight piped from the catalytic converter it only costed me $60, so the shop saved me $100 and I am very grateful for that
Best place in town... Don't stop till it's perfect and wouldn't go ANYWHERE ELSE.... tips and complete exhaust couldn't be any more lined up perfect... great welds to if they are in a spot that can be be seen easily..
First time at this business. My 82 Chevy pickup truck needed new dual mufflers and they did the job in one day. Very courteous, friendly, answered all my questions, and they quoted a price before work began. I always appreciate a business that takes personal interest in their customers. I recommend this place and I will do business with them again.
The owner Ronnie is a great guy. He repaired my muffler system and even repaired my step bar that I had broken. This made it much easier for me to get in and out of my Dodge Truck. I have always went here for my repairs for many years. Great place if you need repair work from honest and very kind folks. Fred Smith.

Everyone there is so friendly and Christian oriented! I couldn’t be more pleased with the work they did to my truck. Before the exhaust was hanging with a coat hanger. I brought it to Benny’s and they redone all the exhaust in half a day! When I get there to pick it up I have never been more happy. My truck sounds amazing. I will for sure bring any vehicle I get to them to do the exhaust. Ronnie if you get to read this your work is fenominal!
My pipe on my 2008 Suzuki Sx4 rusted and broke off. I made a temporary hanger and took it in to Benny's for an estimate. They promptly attended to my vehicle in a respectable manner. They were not super busy, but gave an estimate in about 6 minutes and we discussed the procedure with a excellent price of $38.50 to fix. Approximately 10 minutes later I was in vehicle and on my way home. These folks are definitely NOT retarded as I seen in one post (I've actually worked with handicap and the mentally challenged). Anyone can make a mistake unfortunately and I'm sure I'd be upset as well, but the experience I encountered was awesome and I am more than satisfied with the results! No gimmicks just straight forward on fixing the problem. Definitely recommend and would happily return!
I took my little Festiva for some exhaust work. When I got there, the lady told me there was someone ahead of me but if I wanted to wait that was fine. I choose to wait which was only 15 minutes and they had my car in. It needed a connector pipe and muffler. He told me the price and I was stunned it was the lowest price I had been told anywhere in the area. I told him to go ahead and do the work. They had it completed within 30 minutes and I was on my way. The staff was super friendly and the speed of service was the best I've received in a long time! I will continue to take my vehicles to this shop! VERY IMPRESSED!
I was treated with the utmost respect and they were honest with the work they done and price they charged. They ran into a problem (ended up being an exhaust gasket). They called before the work was done to make sure I was ok with it and the price. Great bunch of people. Since the first initial visit I have take two other vehicles to them and will be taken my other truck next week. I recommend these guys to everyone that asks about a muffler.
