This rating is based on customer reviews, inventory size, pricing, and service quality
In Lubbock, TX, Mobile Auto Repair averages 72/100 with mixed-to-positive sentiment. Many praise quick, professional techs, fair prices, friendly staff, fast delivery, and success finding parts—pointing to solid inventory. Common complaints: understaffing and long waits, missed or damaged deliveries, warranty/return disputes, and occasional rudeness. Pricing is usually reasonable but a few say high. Yard organization and detailed part-finding process aren’t clearly reported, so certainty is limited. Good access and mobile convenience, but reliability varies.
What clients say about Mobile Auto Repair in Lubbock (TX)
I have used this mechanic on multiple occasions for multiple truck repairs from oil change, oil pan gasket, ball joint replacement, AC repair, and exhaust replacement over the last 18 months. And although he was very convenient and worked to pickup and drop off the vehicle, 80% of what he “repaired” had to be reworked by other repair shop because of shotty work or incomplete repairs after 30-60 days.
Would not honor warranty. My front wheel was making noise so he said it was the cv joint. Paid him to fix it. 2 wks later it started making same noise and he wouldn't come look at. Shoved me off on someone else. Then was rude telling me I was making it up. I would not trust this guy again
These guys r the very best in the 806 area, they did an awesome job on my truck they didn’t hurt my truck in any way and were real pros they came to me and got the job done. Ima tell ev1 bout these guys
They damage vehicles then lie about it and will not fix the damage they did. Do not use this mechanic if you value your car. They are scammers who take advantage of helpless old ladies. Negative 5 star rating. Horrible service, horrible business
