I can’t say enough good things about this towing company! My car broke down unexpectedly, and they showed up quickly, treated me with genuine care, and made a stressful situation so much easier. The driver was professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and taken care of. On top of the excellent service, their pricing was more than affordable compared to other companies I’ve used in the past. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism, compassion, and fair prices, but they truly do. I’ll definitely be recommending them to family and friends — thank you so much for turning my rough day around! My 23-year-old daughter took my car out for a joy-ride in the middle of the night and wrecked my car. Big Rod’s Towing picked it up. The next days I was pissed, but Big Rod helped me out. He gave me reasonable rates and helped me find a body shop. Incredibly a nice, helpful guy. When you’re in a bind, understanding and nice people make a differences. So, 10/10 for me.
I had an accident a few days ago and Big Rod's Towing was there within minutes. The driver and Austin wer very nice and patient with my wife and I, especially for working on their day off. Once my vehicle was in their tow yard, Austin was also super helpful working with us on getting a ride back out of town. 10/10 business and staff!
I could not get my car started, after numerous attempts which included YouTube videos, jumper cables and battery replacement. I called the first number that appeared in Google, and came across Big Rod. I explained the situation, and he stated that he didn’t have a flatbed truck to transport my car, but he would come out to my location and assess if his mega booster could get my car started. He arrived about 20 minutes later and attempted to jump start, to no avail. He went beyond the call of duty and called a fellow wrecker service with a flatbed to come to my location and transport the car. Big Rod stayed on site with me until the wreck arrived. That’s what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Thanks again Big Rod. You are heads above the competition!!!
Rod and Austin deserve more than 5 stars!! They are awesome! Austin was there within 10-15 minutes after the call was made to rescue my daughter at 1am . Very friendly and helpful wouldn't use anyone else! Thanks guys! 😊
Service was very nice but when I went to pick up my car in towing car parking lot the business owner was very rude in talking saying that you have pay out of your pocket and we will not talk to your insurance company which they promise they will talk to the Toyota dealer and get the insurance money and also damage my new car from the front bumper and when I told him he only keep saying me we have the photos of your car before towing but never showed me the photos and also told me if you don't want to pay out of your pocket let your car be in the parking lot will not give you your car without paying cash. This way this guy's are taking benefits when your bad time is there by giving the favour first and be nice to you then other day show there attitude.
Called about a tow. They said they couldn't do it until the next day after church. Glad you go to church. But should probably change your hours from 24/7 to closed on the weekends.
The driver found us pretty quickly. He was friendly and an expert at loading our truck onto his. Our truck with 35" tires fit easily onto his. Decent prices too.
I talked with big Rod himself on the phone, and also met and worked with his son Austin in person at their storage lot in Rosenberg. Their employee Mike towed my wife's car from Sugar Land after another driver totalled her car 5:30 a.m. one morning. They always returned my phone calls promptly and answered all my questions. They were helpful, and they gave some really good advice regarding how the insurance companies work.
I live in Florida but my elderly grandfather lives in Richmond, TX. His car broke down in the middle of the road and after an hour of back and forth with his auto insurance company we decided to just call a local tow, and so glad we did.
Austin answered the phone and was so nice! He priced out each scenario for me and promptly arrived at the car and brought it to our requested destination.

07/14/20, 7:57am called for tow service, driver showed up an hour later. The customer service guy stressed the $59.99 service but didn't properly explain the $60-$90 towing fee, leaving it to the driver to explain the costs. The driver was nice and helpful and played the recording of my conversation with the customer service representative. Upon listening it just became more clear that the tow fee was not intended to be communicated clearly. I only needed a tow for 1.1 miles and ended up paying $134. The price was workable but the way the conversation went basically left me thinking of a lower price point and left me the inability to shop around with competitors because information wasn't communicated clearly before the driver actually arrived. The rep even clarified the charge to my card was for the $59.99 charge and didn't express the possibility of further fees. The only reason this is getting more than 1 star is because the driver, while taking an hour, was at least nice and tried to be helpful where he could. Just be sure to pay attention to the quick mumbled throw away lines the rep may use. It's very disingenuous and predatory of them to provide a clearly stated price point multiple times with one mumbled mention of the extra fees in the middle of their service pitch. It leaves you, if you don't catch them, in a situation where you are already waiting in the sun for an hour believing in a surprisingly well priced service only to be hit with a fee that is larger than the initial number at its lowest amount. I may be a rare case, but if this rep has been around for any amount of time, I'm surprised the reviews here haven't mentioned this before. I was mad at first, then I heard the recording of our conversation and it made me furious. I will never use this service again.
Wonderful experience with Big Rod and his excellent service! My sister and I with four kids stranded on the way back to Arizona, and he not only helped us get our car fixed with a mechanic recommendation, but was able to get it all taken care of in record timing.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! My sister and I and our 4 kids were stranded in Matagorda, TX with a broken alternator. Big Rod stopped to help and called his buddy, Fern, immediately. It should be noted that he stopped on his own...we did not call him!! They got an alternator and fixed it in the parking lot within 2 hours of stopping!!!! They saved us from having to get a tow and staying an extra night. This happened on a Friday night and I’m sure they would rather have been fishing!! A thousand times THANK YOU to him and his friend!! Give them all your business!!
I have an antique car and I am extremely particular. The driver was very careful and kind. His truck was really clean. He was there within 15 minutes. When we got to my house he backed it into my garage. It was really exceptional service.
When my alternator went out and I had to push my car to the parking lot of DQ on Ave. H, I called Big Rod. I'm from Houston, so I was worried about getting home and it was already late. I called several towing companies that night, and Big Rod was the only one to answer. What seemed to be a very bad night with no sight on getting home, was turned around as soon as I was greeted with a big smile and nothing but kindness by the man himself, Big Rod. If I'm ever in the area and stranded again, I'm calling this guy.

This is a company that I was so very surprised at the level of customer service and professionalism especially at 0400 am in the morning. Rod came out to get me on I-10 just by Sealy, and instead of dropping me off at the nearest garage to wait for untold hours he took me all the
way to Rosenberg so that I could get my car repaired at a reasonable price and quickly as I still had about 400 miles to drive. The problem was my altenator as it had just gone bad and needed to be replaced. He took me to a mechanics shop and they charged me $65.00 to install a brand new altenator and the price of the altenator. I was back on the road by 10:00am that morning and completed my business that day. If it was mot for Rodney and the Manager of the mechanics shop Santos, in all likelihood I would still be out by Sealy trying to figure out what to do. Rodney took a very stressful situation helped calm it down immensely and then gave me options on what to do next and who to use. I will always be grateful to him. Thank you very much Rodney and I hope that your business thrives and you prosper very much as you deserve it.

It was a late night after a long day of work, I locked my keys in my car out of exhaustion and called a few locksmiths, but big rod saved the day and met me at my location really quick, and the man is as cool as can be, hopefully this never happens again, but if it did I'd call big rod 10/10 would reccomend to anyone
I locked my keys in my car out in East Bernard around 11 PM. I called every 24-hour locksmith nearest to me with no luck. Big Rod came to my rescue with no hesitation, and he had literally just returned from an out-of-town fishing trip. He was in and out within 30 minutes of calling him. He was knowledgeable about my problem and was very professional. Big Rod is good people!
Back tire blew out on the Goldwing tonight 7 miles from the nearest town. Big Rod was there in less than an hour and drove me and my bike home (60 miles) at a very reasonable price. Thanks Big Rod and a huge thanks to my driver!
