Steve the manager on duty lost a customer of over 10 years over a can of paint today. I bought a can of paint wich was not what the paint can said it was. Easy enough to tell them its not the right paint that the can says it is and Steven says he cant return in because its been used. If its not the right product I bought then why should I still have to buy it. They would rather loose a customer of over 10 years than honor the return policy. Dont go here they will make a big deal about returning product, even for a customer of over 10 years. Horrible management.

2 customers and 4 associates in the store, 2 working 1 doing inventory and the young curly brown hair kid on his cell phone. I waited for 5 minutes before someone could take my money for the items I picked out.

Steve sold me the wrong part and I told him so. He says has to be pressed on. Ok so I try had to go to O'Reilly in west cola to get the right part. Went and had it pressed on then cause I had the right part. Steve cost me alot of time and money. Had to get a rental car because of it plus the right part cost more money. SMH...

Battery died on my car (I only shop at this location by the way). Monday night December 2 I went in asked for battery to be tested and I knew I needed to purchase a new one. Female behind counter said “no, not tonight there is only two of us and no chance to do it”. I was upset as I am a regular customer. I walked out. I went back in and spoke to the male asking for manager information. “JB” asked sure but what happened, I told him the conversation and he looked at me and asked for year and vehicle info and said that he would take care of it. He completed the job without hesitation. JB is a great employee and saved my whole family from Not being customers and just going across the street to another auto parts store. If you keep Her as an employee you will lose many customers. Thank you JB you were a 5 out of 5 but ma’am you should not be in retail

Went in the headlamps and just as I picked up the book to see what I needed, JB asks if I needed help, and very kindly offered to look it up. I bought them and as I finished the transaction he offered to install them for me!! And did!!! In less than 10 minutes I had 2 brand new headlamps bought and installed!!! JB is awesome!!! Please go see him! I'm glad Auto Zone was closed! Thank you again- so much, JB!

Cherry made sure I'll never step foot inside this place again. I was told I needed a specialty torque star socket to remove the rear brake calipers on my car. I wasn't sure of the size so I purchased two sets containing different sizes. It turned out I didn't need that socket, but instead a 3 pin brake rewind adapter. When I return to the store an hour later to return the sockets and request to rent the rewind adapter, Cherry held the sockets up, laughed, and yelled "he used it!" I had the receipt and the sockets were in packaging that would not allow you to use them without destroying the package, yet this ignorant and rude woman basically accused me of trying to get over on someone. Cheery needs to get it together and understand that accusing a customer of anything, especially without proof or even justifiable suspicion, is beyond rude and unprofessional. I paid $60 to rent the tool I needed only because I had to finish the job I had started. I don't know what she was trying to accomplish, but she lost this store a lot of money. My weekly trips will be made to the several competitors that are within walking distance of this store. I hope she finds herself on the other side of the counter someday, accused of trying to get over on someone. She should be standing at a counter at the unemployment office! Absolutely unacceptable!

The register girl was real helpful and it was a great experience getting the part I needed Plus a little more I am excited about this and I would recommend going to O'Reilly's for your parts because the girls know just as much as the guys do

Did not test the battery to see if it was the problem.. charged 259 it was given the wrong battery twice. I was the stater. Staying with Advanced they always check the battery Not lazyvbStaffv

I went to this location to get a battery checked out, and John B helped me. After testing my battery, he gave me excellent customer service and he went above and beyond to help me and I am greatly satisfied. Highly recommended.

BUYER BEWARE….. I bought an alternator at this location in August 2022. The component failed last night resulting in having to leave my car in a random parking lot. Once we got to O’Rallys they didn’t have the exchange in store, but did have a replacement which was 100.00 more, yet they could have another one by 1:30-200However, we had to be at work at 12 and didn’t have time to do O’Rallys job by fulfilling the warranty ourselves. Rather than yield to great customer service they made us pay the 100.00. Therefore, our warranty didn’t work for us. Buyer beware that you too may have to pay twice for anything you buy from O’Rallys.

I like O'Reilly and this review really applies to most places now. I am finding that more and more often things I need are not stocked in local stores and have to be ordered online. That was the case and their competitors didn't have it either.

I arrived needing a battery and I was greeted by Christian. His customer service skills were phenomenal and he made me feel good about stopping at THAT O’Reilly’s. Awesome job by Christian.

Most O'Rilley's have their game on. The West Columbia location said they didn't have a 2006 Mercury Montego 3.0L fuel pressure sensor in their system, not a true story. The S. Lake location pulled it right up and said it had to be ordered - 2 day delivery. So sad that I have to go to another location to get quality/honest service.

Always a great experience at o'Reilly if I want a set of plugs for my race car I can go in and get them and not have to be asked what kind of car and is it 2wd or 4wd like the other parts stores

The manager and crew were extremely rude, and seemed to be put out by having to wait on me. The alternator I bought from them was also defective.They need to learn a lot about customer service! Ordered online from them again thinking I would give them another chance. Get to the store and Omar tells me there is no order in my name. Gives me the run-around for a while till I glance over at the register and my paperwork and parts are sitting in plain sight and he was just standing over them before he came to the counter to talk with me. I expect poor service in Red Bank and this place is one of the worst.

I'm in here almost everyday. The staff is always nice and helpful. And will go out of their way to give a hand and make sure you have what you need. And they have a vet discount, so that's a win!

Shout out to David and H.....(can't remember her name). My son was stranded in Conway, SC. He was at an O'Reilly's store, they had the parts he needed, he had no money on him. I walked into the Red Bank location, ordered the parts online through the assistance of David at this location who called another David in Conway - The two of them set up a "will call". I paid for the parts here in Red Bank and they were to be picked up in Conway at that store. It took about an hour to coordinate all of this, but they remained helpful through the entire process. THANK YOU!!!

Wonderful staff! They helped me quickly today when my battery light came on! My car almost died on me, but he quickly told me what I needed and the service was wonderful. They even helped me with my phone that was also dead. Great staff. Thank you.

The only reason I am giving the Oreillys at 3401 Bush River rd, Columbia S.C. a high mark of 3 stars is beacause of the lady I first spoke to. I believe her name is Julie. The store manager flat out lies to me about the return policy on lifetime warrantied parts. I had to returnit to a different store. The policy actually is you can return it to ANY store.

Chris was the definition of customer service. I went in with my 6 year old little girl looking for several items. He found what I needed, was knowledgeable about the products, and went as far to install it for me which is not a service they offer! I would recommend them and to ask for Chris.

The best of the auto parts stores around in terms of customer service. The wait here is usually not too bad, the prices are not the best but the employees do not frequently try and sell people unnecessary things.
