Amazing Cheeseburgers and hot dogs. The girls that work there are friendly too. They only take cash though. There’s an ATM on site for your convenience.
I went in the store tonight and a brown haired woman with glasses was fixing to have a whole conniption fit because a handful of customers was coming in 15 minutes before closing time… She’s no better than anyone of us and she will be getting paid either way, that was so unprofessional. I don’t think I’ll be stopping back by here unless it’s a real need… the only upper hand this place has is that it’s the only store for a while..
Very poor customer service. Gentleman behind the counter acted as if I was an inconvenience to him. I stood at the counter, no one else in the store, for a while waiting to be acknowledged and he stayed hunched over the counter playing on his phone...then sighed when I finally asked for what I needed as if he was hoping I would walk away. Whomever owns this establishment finds a better candidate for a CUSTOMER SERVICE position such as cashier. Then I will re-review my 1 star. Customer service is everything and like my pops always told me you may have to kiss a little butt to make your money but you should never have to kiss any butt to spend your money. I am I paying customer, treat me like one and I'll bring you more money.
I grew up going here with my mama pretty much every day when I was little. I was happy, after moving back, to see that it’s still the same. Best hotdogs you’ll get and everyone here is always sweet. Feels like home!
Let me just tell yall! Sandy Flat was AMAZING during the hurricane! Those ladies (and gents) had it down pat with directing traffic, making sure nobody was starting any mess, being fair, and made sure our fleet of trucks were able to get diesel fuel to keep helping our community!!! Yall are the shiz!! ??
Went there last week to order 4 hotdogs. The older lady at the cash register was hella rude. She always had an attitude and never had a smile on her face.
Cashiers are always nice and friendly and I’ve found everything I’ve come there for. As someone who has lived around here for her whole life and this is the closest gas station to me, it’s been great every time.
Edit: I’ve been here 3 times in the past week and the woman at the counter is so sweet and friendly! Still a 10/10 from me
This place is my home away from home the people are old fashion, very clean , and very respectable , they are like family to me and have the best food you have ever eaten in your life .. old fashion and loved by most .. Call ahead for big orders and I highly recommend their Hot dogs , Cole slaw , and their Club Sandwich Plates .. Most definitely their sweet tea .. love you guys .. your the best . Will never eat here again. If there had been other options I wouldn’t have to begin with. The place smells like an outhouse, and nobody wears gloves while touching food. Burger and fries… only the fries were tolerable with a ton of ketchup. The burger? Pretty sure that’s what gave me the food poisoning.

We absolutely love this place! So glad we stubbled upon it. The burgers are so good and the portions of fries and slaw are just right! This is a perfect down home place with affordable prices! You won’t be disappointed!
Just happened to see the cafe on the way to a job. A spartan interior but who cares when the food is good and the service friendly? Parking is right out front. Huge menu. Recommend.
Sandy Flat Cafe? Worst place to eat in the upstate. Always under staffed, rude, takes forever, cost too much for the quality of food they serve. Dirty, tiny, only take cash. I could go on. Just try it and see for yourself, NOW on the other hand the gas station is wonderful. Respectful tendants, large selection of everything, and fairly clean.
