I went here near closing time and had a great experience! I did not know if my battery or starter was messed up, and Joseph helped me so kindly! I was able to get a great deal on a new starter! He is the best and I had a great experience. Will definitely come back again.

Alicia Gorman was such a delight to have helping me at Advance Auto. She answered all my questions with a smile and even gave me extra knowledge on my purchase. I was so excited to hear how much she knew about cars. Not being judgmental because I am a women myself. Great experience. Best price new alternator and had a coupon for online order. Needed a specialty socket set to put it and they let me buy it even though they typically don’t let you rerun it once you open it they let me. Put the customer first even though it may have cost the company a little bit. Leonard did a great job and helped me a lot! Thank you!

I was verbally assaulted by the associate at the store when asking for the correct price on the advertised sale of oil and oil filter, I was told that she was not doing anything about it, and she was closing in 30 minutes an i could take it or leave it then she continued to follow me to my vehicle and verbally assaulting me with racist slurs screaming and yelling in the parking lot that she did not give a damn, I told her I was going to leave a review contact her manager

I usually don't leave reviews but Tony and Leonard are DEFINITELY life savers and also, the people you would want to see and make friends with at this location! VERY knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and even have a shop outside of the store for ANY of your mechanical needs. These guys are truly genuine people and will help you out the best way they can while leading you in the right direction for everything you need! Go see them ASAP!!!

Awesome customer service. Leonard helped me fix my headlight in my truck. One of my headlights was out. He took time out of his night and stayed after to help me get the light bulb into the housing. I highly recommend them and he deserves a raise. Thank you for going above and beyond Leonard.

I would like to thank everyone at the Advance Auto Store in Taylors SC #5440 for the best customer service experience of my life. I have been coming to this particular store for about 10 years. I was having a bad day on Saturday Dec 8th. I was already having a bad day when I got a flat tire. Someone stopped and helped me with that. On the way home I was telling my son that we were going to stop and pick up the starter solenoid that I needed cuz I've been having to push start my truck. We stopped, got the solenoid and installed in parking lot. It was not the issue. Went back in to look up a starter. Well turns out the starter was more than I could afford. Thank God for (name?) Alesha. She was able to give me a deep discount so I could get the starter. I was so appreciative, I looked at my son and said "this is why I come here. Never had any issues like other part stores I been to. And see what loyalty got me." My son looked at me and said that after the service we received, he won't go anywhere else for parts. Again. Thank you so much. I would have stuck for a while week without my truck if not for their help.

Stopped in after Autozone said they couldn’t help me. Alicia was amazing and was tremendously helpful in figuring out my battery situation. The whole team is great and very kind, I’d definitely recommend using them!

Leonard runs an excellent store! Items are always in stock AND they have great customer service. Come in to buy your wiper blades — they will help replace them. Come in to have your battery checked. They will replace it! A very well-run store. I’m a fan!

I bought a new battery here about a year ago. The vehicle wouldn’t start today, so I came back to have it tested and was prepared to purchase a new one because I didn’t have the paperwork. Leonard and his team took care of me and replaced the battery under warranty. I will definitely be back next time I need something for one of my vehicles!

THE STORE IS ABSOLUTELY GOOD AND CONVENIENT FROM MY HOUSE, BUT THE NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR, JANELLE IS VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVERY TIME WE COME IN SHE HAS THIS ATTITUDE THAT DOESN'T WELCOME CUSTOMERS. SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. OUR NEIGHBORS EVEN COMPLAIN TO US ABOUT THIS LADY.. WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, BUT IT MUST BE FIXED AND COOPERATE WILL HEAR FROM US.. I was a determined soul today trying to get my windshield wipers re-aligned before the rain comes in Saturday. I ended up at Advance Auto to get new wipers and the tools I needed to perform the task- after watching a you tube video. Leonard happened to be in the shop today and went above and beyond in assisting me in my repair and alignment. He came outside and showed me how to use a tool, and even assisted when I didn't have the muscle needed to do a certain task- he showed me the right way to do it and let me do the next one to prove I could do it. He was a great teacher and never made me feel stupid. He even gave me a discount on the wiper - I think he could tell I was having a hard day. When we got the alignment completed, I got excited about the wipers finally working right, I ran off and left my debit card! He called me back within about 5 minutes of me leaving so I knew to come back and get it. Top Notch service today that was above and wayy beyond. I am so grateful to Leonard for his help today and will definitely return there for any future automotive needs I have. I regret my stop at autozone earlier in the day. Trust me, Advance Auto is your automotive parts stop!

These guys are awesome. Leonard, the manager, helped me and my daughter change an alternator on her car at night in the rain, at closing time. Totally saved us. These are good people.

Big Shout out to the Crew at Taylors , Advance Auto! I Had to replace brake pads on my Honda Accord on Saturday . I Had the lifetime Gold pads for the front so I had stopped and picked up a set only to pull the front tire and find pads not worn much …Ah Rear pads were bad. Leonard the GM made my crappy start of a day go a lot better day. Not only did we get the pads switched and Brake cleaner added I also needed a LOANER tool for screwing the rear calipers in. He did not have one there but after making a few calls he located one. He told me to go get some lunch and he would have it at the store when I came back. Dang Dude had the tool ready for me to pick up , get the job done and return the loaner tool ALL BEFORE 4pm what a save of Saturday!! These Folks go out of their way to ensure you get waited on as a customer but also value your support of their location. They have gained my Loyal business for Auto Parts and other auto/Truck/Boat /Lawn accessories .

Great customer service! Leonard went above and beyond to help my son troubleshoot why his break lights were not functioning correctly. He was knowledgeable and quickly solved the problem. I appreciate his help. We will definitely return to this location for all of our needs.

This morning, I went into Advance Auto Parts to get my battery charged. The staff was activated! Leonard went into action by removing my battery, cleaned my terminals, and replaced 😤!!! I needed a ride home from there and Art (veteran Marine) provided a ride. If you are in the Taylors area, please go by there. Tell them how outstanding they are at their craft!

The people make this place. I had a question about my 2004 Toyota Camry that was confusing me. The vehicle was throwing all six codes for ignition coil failure p0351 through p0356. One of the ladies that worked there said she had a vehicle with a spark plug that was gapped too large and it was throwing all the codes. So I bought one ignition coil and replace them one by one until I found the bad one. Thanks Advance Auto for hiring such great people! I also bought some vacuum hose and fixed some emission codes and purchased the valve cover gasket and replace that as well. All the parts I needed were available in stock.

A good place to shop for windshield wipers, car waxes, spark plugs. I found a nice headlight cleaner. Nice clean store, well lit. Employees are always eager to help.
