Great Service.Great informed staff. Bret Goome, the manager of the Taylor's SC store, has taken care of every car I have owned for eighteen years so far. I trust him completely. This week his team completed an oil service and purchase 4 new tires on my truck, serviced an oil change and front and rear freak pad replacement with new roters on my Hyundai, and an oil service and 2 new tires on my Honda. I am pleased with all the work. I wish there was a Firestone Store closer to me in Travelers Rest, SC and transfer Brett to manage it.
I have always trusted them with my vehicles; however, over the last few years they have seriously declined. This most recent visit, my vehicle was towed to them. I spoke with them prior to having it towed to make sure they were able to help me. They told me they could. It was "fixed" in a reasonable amount of time. We paid our bill and attempted to leave. Upon starting the vehicle, we heard the same grinding noise that brought us there. We left, drove a mile up the road to another store and turned the car off. Once again upon starting, the grinding noise was present, and the car struggled to start. We went back to the shop only for them to tell us to wait a week and bring it back if it continues. The next morning, the car would not start at all. We once again needed to tow it to get fixed. It spent 2 days at the shop with no further progress. The first day and a half, we didn't even get a call with an update. They at least refunded my money and I took my vehicle elsewhere to get fixed. If you have a simple fix or just need tires, this place is great. If you have a bigger issue to fix, it’s probably better to take your vehicle somewhere else.
Went for a normal wheel alignment. Stayed because Juan is the man. Made the wait super fun, entertaining, and welcoming. Truly above and beyond customer service. I will now always visit this location because of Juan. Give that man a raise.
They had one tire of the size I needed left in stock after something too large to patch punctured mine. Held it for me until I could get my car towed over and had it replaced within an hour of getting there.

The mechanics here are excellent and very timely on their repairs. I was in and out in an hour for a brake system repair. Ask for DJ, he is the best mechanic I've seen in a long time!!
Brett and his team are the best in town. I am extremely picky with my vehicles. I never have to worry at Firestone because they are extremely careful while providing top notch service. Don't waste your time anywhere else, just go straight to the best. You won't be disappointed!
The service was good and the people there was very friendly. Brit, is a very great guy and easy to talk to and he explained everything to us all the time.
I needed my battery replaced, ASAP. I was able to drive in without an appointment and get my battery replaced, all within a couple of hours. Juan gave me the best customer service and even saved me some money! Thanks Juan you're the best ! 😄

I had an unexpected flat tire, and was in a pinch to get to a meeting. Brett, the manager, was very helpful and went out of his way to fit me in on very short notice. Will be returning to this Firestone again.
We travelled from eastern NC to visit family in Greer, SC area. Our car had a seized water pump and that also snapped the serpentine belt. This Firestone location was able to repair the car in just a few hours and get it back to use so we could still return home as planned. They were very helpful and courteous and did a good job on the repairs.
Crooks. Charging 185.00 to replace one tire sensor that cost 30.00. The tires were already off because I was getting new tires. Then the guy was trying to tell a older guy his new car needed new this and that that it was going to be six thousand dollars. The guy said it's a new car. They tried to get over on him because he was old. I am a mechanic and none of the things the guy was telling was true. I'm done with firestone. Find a local tire dealer, mom and pop and save yourself thousands. Sick of this corporate greed and lies.

They’re always upfront and honest about what needs to be done — no pushy upsells, just genuine advice. I came in for what I thought would be a simple oil change but unbeknownst to me I had to get a new tire. Juan recommended that it was time to get my tire changed and even had me come and look at it to ensure me the best decision would be to get it done ASAP to avoid a blow out. I appreciated the fact the he actually showed me the tire and also explained to me the importance of getting a new one. The service was prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend this location for all your vehicle needs!

My wife paid for lifetime tire rotation and alignment. But every time she takes her car there, they refuse to rotate her tires unless she buys a new tire because it's warn on one side, which is the reason we wanted them rotated. Then they told her they wouldn't alignment her car unless she paid for tie rods because that's what was causing the tires to get warn. The first time she paid but then the next time they said the same thing. They weren't going to honor the lifetime alignment and tire rotation unless we pay for other parts and labor. Come to find out the part they kept claiming was the cause wasn't the problem. They WILL target and take advantage of woman that trust them. Specifically the Wade Hampton location.
We were traveling home to Indiana when one of our front tires started going low. They were open (on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, no less!), had our tire in stock, and got us in and out in under an hour. Everyone here is absolutely fabulous and we can’t thank them enough!
Everyone there is always so pleasant and friendly. Brett is a wonderful person and always nice to chat with and I love listening to the folks in the bays laughing and cutting up with each other. It’s obvious that everyone there enjoys their jobs.
Just visited again for tires on 8/22/25. Still got the great friendly service I always do. Have to mention Lia & Juan on this visit. Both were so funny and had me laughing!
Juan is always professional and very helpful and does not pressure you into any items or service. He gives options. The work performed was great. I can go to any other establishment for tires but I feel comfortable here.

Bought a car via Carvana and had a few issues. Not easy to navigate with Silver Rock their warranty company. Juan Rosa worked to help have a positive outcome and Brett Groome the store manager helped to get approvals to save on personal expense for as much as possible and repair AC , fix alignment and put new rubber on. Went above and beyond , helpful , honest , and friendly. Recommend to anyone. My first visit I’ll be back !
I have been going to this shop consistently for my car for the past 2 years and have always had exceptional work done on my car from simple oil changes to replacing my struts. In addition the customer service is out of this world. The store manager Jason is particularly great to work with. I would recommend this shop to anyone in need of THE BEST mechanics and up front managers.
They were honest. I came in with a diagnosis from someone else, which would have cost me over 500, but once they gave the car the full inspection, it wasn’t necessary. They saved me money and told me what was truly needed- not that much! Great service!
The staff is very friendly and even more importantly, honest. They could have sold me a new tire but instead were able to patch my tire. As a woman, I am used to feeling taken advantage when dealing with auto issues and I don't feel that way at all at this location of Firestone (Wade Hampton, Taylors, SC)
I came in for tire rotation. Went home to realize that the brake reservoir cap is not where it should be, and also the latches for my engine air filter are not properly secured. This is what I get after declining a service about replacing my wheel studs for $306 that they messed up in the first place. I got all my tires for 2 of my vehicles and have been sending family members to this place for their tire needs as well. It's sad to say that the guys working here now lost my trust and will no longer be coming back.
