We stopped for a tasting while traveling through Pennsylvania. The setting was lovely, the wine was tasty and the sommelier was friendly and informative.

I decided to take a trip to the winery and wanted to see what it was it was all about. To my surprise everyone that greeted me was very friendly and they made and sold so varieties of costum wines. You have to come check it out!

Waltz Vineyards has a great selection of wines! They have several award winning wines as well. There are options of different charcuterie trays you can get with different cheeses. The prices were affordable and the tasting was $15. As you can see in the picture, the tasting was very unique as they were in test tubes and you can pour them into your glass for an awesome experience. Liz was the best and so friendly! She was very knowledgeable about the wines and super sweet! Go check it out today! They suggest making reservations on Saturdays, but you can make one during the week too online!

A fantastic afternoon for Althie and I to visit the winery, listen to music on the lawn and have an amazing tasting for each of us to enjoy 5 wines. Keith and the entire team were knowledgeable and extremely helpful and friendly. Also the charcuterie tray was delicious. Recommend highly & we will be back soon! Thank you for a great afternoon. Sincerely, Althea and Ed Rolfe, Chester Springs 🍷🥂

The owners are from PennState Ag Sci. We were hosted as a group to explore the place and their work. It was an amazing experience and they have great wines!

We had to make a stop for a bottle of wine 🍷. The staff was outstanding. The view was outstanding. The wine is one of the best that we have tasted. Great job 👍

I was visiting kitchen kettle village and was very excited to see that there was a tasting room here because my friends and I love the wine. When we walked in we were not greeted or acknowledged by the staff member which did not bother us. However when she did finally acknowledge us she rudely stated that only 2 samples were to be provided and flights were not available. Other people came in not long after and were pleasantly greeted and not told about the 2 sample rule and were also happily given samples of what ever they asked for which was more than just 2. I was then looking in the cooler to see what kinds of cheese and wine were in there and the associate needed something in the cooler. Instead of saying excuse me, she clapped her hands and stomped her feet at me while saying “as soon as I can get it” to the customer. I have never been treated so badly and have never had such a negative experience. She was very unprofessional and extremely rude to me for no reason. I will never be back or purchase waltz wine

Had a bridal shower here, would not recommend. Paid to reserve a room and wine samples and cheese and crackers. They brought cracker pieces and cheese pieces out sloppily on paper plates. It was embarrassing. Had we known this was the service/hospitality would not have chosen to have it here. A little effort goes a long way when it comes to business and customer satisfaction. Would not recommend for an event or gathering.

Our recent visit to Waltz Vineyards in Manheim, PA, left us with mixed feelings. While we were pleased with the wine tasting experience and the quality of the wines, we were very disappointed with the check-out/payment process when using our credit card. The Waltz point of sale system defaults to suggesting that patrons pay a tip on both the tasting and any subsequent wine purchases. Tips are warranted for services, but certainly not for products. Waltz should either turn off the tip function in their point of sale and use the tip jar for the tastings or they should run two transactions - one for tastings that allows patrons to add a tip, and one for products that includes no tip. If Waltz chooses not to change their process, at a very minimum, the staff should alert patrons using credit cards that any tip they select will be applied the their entire purchase. Unfortunately, the staff made no mention of this for us, and had we not noticed, we would have paid a $50+ tip on the what should have only been the service part of our visit, the tasting. Additionally, once we reviewed our receipt and went back inside to address the issue, it seemed apparent that the staff knew right away what had happened, as if this happens routinely. Overall, while the wines are excellent, the payment/tipping practice needs to be addressed to ensure a transparent and honest experience for all visitors.

We did wine tasting here when we visited the winery and it was excellent experience. Highly recommended. All personnel was super friendly and helpful!

We have been to Waltz Vineyards on two occasions-once in February and once in early April. We first learned of this vineyard when we had some of their 1599 Red wine at a local microbrewery in Strasburg in December. They told us where to go. Both times we did the tasting and ordered the small side dishes. I have to say the wines were excellent, and the staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The young lady with the auburn hair was so sweet and kind to us! The decor and ambience was impeccable and tasteful. We purchased a case of wine on each visit and they were priced fairly for the quality of the selections. I highly recommend this operation. They are world-class and the people are just wonderful.

We were in the Harrisburg area for a mid-week meeting and found Waltz winery online and decided to stop by on our way home. Great tastings and wine, very congenial staff who took the time to explain the different wine offerings and sat outside on the beautiful grounds were we were greeted by Penney, a beautiful dog belonging to the Waltz’s. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon! If you are in the area, highly recommend stopping in for a visit! Bill and Betty Jane

Went there during non busy hours. We had 12 people. Stuck us in a room that was 40 degrees and told us we had 1 hour in there before the next party came. We didn't ask for this room at all. We then nicely asked to sit at one of the 5 tables that sit 4 or table that was open that sat 6. We said we would split up. She told us they were for people that came in which confused us even more because we were those people, especially since we were willing to split up. The manager became very snobby at this point. We felt very uncomfortable at this point and left. We are a bunch of business professionals and are on a long weekend from out of town and spending lots of money on food, drinks and stocking up on our supplies at home this weekend. We are literally walking out of wineries with boxes of wines in our hands. The other staff even looked confused why she was not understanding what we were asking because we were trying to be as nice as possible. Probably lost a couple grand from us today. Oh well... off to the next of many wineries in the area. I'm sure they would love to get out business today.

We visited the Waltz vineyard today and really enjoyed it. The service was great and the wine was delicious! Cellar 1599 moscato was our favorite. We learned lots of interesting facts from Michelle who treated us with kind hospitality and attention. Enjoyed a beautiful peaceful walk in the vineyard. Will definitely be going back.

Enjoyed a bottle Cellar 1599 from the Waltz Vineyards tonight. Lighter fruity nose, finishing darker fruits and a hint of pepper. Modestly dry but just sweet enough to enjoy alone.

Five stars all around. Become a member - you won't regret it! We look forward to their selections each quarter. Recommend you plan ahead and make reservations for your tasting. Reservations can be made thru their website which is great! My only complaint is that they aren't open any evenings. Their last tasting is 3:30pm which is hard to make with our work schedules. We would definitely visit more frequently if they offered a later time - even one or two days per week.

Went in for a tasting without realizing a reservation was needed buy they asked if i could join another group of ladies who were nice enough to accommodate me. We ended up having a blast and another guest ended up joining our table as well. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. Every wine I've tasted at this vineyard is amazing. Enough so that I've joined the wine club and get to enjoy 3 bottles every few months!

Came here for the first time and was not disappointed! Their wines are great (on the drier side for the most part but still fantastic) and we really enjoyed their selection of cheeses to try also! The wine tasting experience was excellent and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!

Went with 3 friends and did a taste sampling of 5 wines. Wide selection to choose from. We also ordered a side order of crakers and cheese with chocolate. Samples are served in tube that you pour into a glass. All wines we tasted were very good. We spent about and hour and a half tasting and talking. No one rushes you. We then went on a short tour of the wine storage room full of barrels and got a brief history of the Waltz company. Had a great time only negative bottles to buy were expensive, $27 and $36 for the wines we liked. Cheapest was $17 a bottle. Beautiful area very scenic.

Awesome venue to enjoy outside especially on a beautiful Summer day. Delicious cheese and snacks with large portions. Unfortunately we were not a fan of the Test-tube portion controlled tastings. Recommend buying a bottle of one of their many award winning Vinos and enjoying the great view outside!!

This was my first visit and found that it's best to make reservations before you go as it does get busy here. I was still able to do a tasting here though without one and was seated in the barrel room which was amazing. The tasting included 5 wines along with water to rinse your glass between changes. They also offer meats and cheeses to go along with your tasting which is great if you want to enhance the flavors of your wines. All of the wines I tasted here were great and I would recommend going to this place if you never have before. Lastly the people here were very friendly and even gave us a bit of history about the winery before we ordered.

What a wonderful experience! My sister and I stopped into the shop at Kitchen Kettle on a whim. We were greeted by Carol who was so very friendly and very knowledgeable. I learned so much in those 30 minutes. She directed our attention to the video of the winery that was on. I asked if it was close. Well, we ended up there that very day, had a beautiful bottle of Rock Red out overlooking the amazing sight of Lancaster county! We felt like we were in Bordeaux country! Thank you for an incredible experience!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and a nice atmosphere. The wines were pleasant and mostly all from estate grapes.

What a surprise... right outside of Lancaster a family winery that grows their own grapes and makes some very appealing wines. I love the reserve chardonnay, fresh and crisp, and the cabernet sauvignon 2018 has some complex taste. And the settings are gorgeous, great views. All made better by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Pick five wines and they're delivered in test tubes that you pour into your glass to taste. They have cheese, crackers, and chocolate you can order indoors. You can also bring your own food but is only allowed outside. Views are beautiful on a nice day!

This vineyards setting is perfect, overlooking Lancaster county. I look forward to returning in the summer and enjoying the view. We we're lucky to have a tasting in the cellar where the oak aroma was wonderful. Their 2015 Cabernet was one of the best wines that I have tried.

100 percent made from grapes hand picked on site. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere even though it's only 25 minutes from lancaster. They were busy, which is always a good sign, and we were sat in overflow seating with the barrels. Their tasting is brought out in tubes so you can get a full "in the glass" experience without relying on being served every 2 minutes. We walked out with a couple bottles which is a recommendation on its own.
