Stopped here for some ceramic wax products and seems they stock a bit better selection than some other places. Also bought wiper blades and was of course strongly encouraged to pay $3 more a piece for a full year warranty. It's debatable, but I got it and we'll see how it works...

I went in to buy a windshield wiper. The sales guy looked up my vehicle and promptly told me that I need to go to a Subaru dealer to get it. I went to autozone down the street and they got me what I needed.
I went in there to see if they could test my car battery. Not only did they but they sold me a new battery at a very reasonable price and Installed it. The Manager (Brian E) did the install and he ended up having to take two brackets off my vehicle and then he worked really hard to get the battery block off without breaking it. It took some extra time but it was so worth it. When I got home I researched the battery and found that not only did they install it as part of the price but when i compared prices on the same battery other places the price I paid was great. I would totally recommend them and I will be back.
Co-worker of Jomar N. had the most disrespectful customer Service. The place is stock for a reason, no one wants to shop there after hearing snide remarks, and poor interaction. Do not spend money here till employee's receive customer training. No welcome when entering as well had to search for items with no other customers within the store.
Polite and knowledgeable staff and surprisingly well stocked compared to our local grocery stores.
But I visit the place quite often and usually buy something but I was disappointed to see there were no red tag specials going on, at least not at this particular store...so off to Auto zone I go looking for great deals for my wheels..😁✌☝️
Had a highly trained professional he was very courteous and polite especially late at night. This is a great turn around for this store. You have a great hire with him. Had the fluids we need and had a quick turn around time on out of stock parts if we needed them.
Very helpful and courteous. I had to return a cv axle I ordered online. The order showed the correct part # but the box was not marked and the axle was about 10" too long! Wrong part! The other 3 items ordered appear to be correct. The store graciously processed the return and I ordered the right part through them and can pick up the next morning! Fast! Many thanks. This review is for the manager. I have little respect for his level of rudeness and disrespect for customers. I seldom deal with someone as obnoxious as him especially in a management position. It is like he is on a ego or power trip everytime I went in there. I have little desire to ever go to this location again. The other workers are nice including Dan the commercial guy.
Bought a fuel filter for my ram they gave me the wrong one I touched the filter with 2 fingers never installed it. I took it back the manager held it against his nose and said it smells like diesel I can't sell this so he says I can't trade it in on the right one which was more money so I called corporate after jumping through hoops they called the store and I was able to return it for the right one with 20 some dollars more corporate told me this was their policy I never had this problem with autozone I will continue to use autozone and I will let my 160 some members of my motorcycle club know to utilize autozone first.
Jomar was amazing. He was kind and helped me learn about changing the battery. He treated me like a person and not like a woman that didn’t know about cars. I was thoroughly impressed with his interaction. Highly recommend this store.
I used to like this place but Not any more. The main manager was VERY rude the second I stepped inside the door with a mask on. I felt very uncomfortable because of his rude & bad attitude. Avoid this store & visit auto zone down the road or the advance auto in Mt Joy. It will be worth the drive I Can promise you!
Love this place! I only ever use autozone if I have to which is rare. Staff here are amazingly helpful and much more knowledgeable than most auto stores. You can tell they love their job and enjoy helping others.
Was in this past Saturday and saw the guys were doing everything they can to uphold store and state policy on masks without escalating to extremes even while the man who refused to wear a mask was starting to walk behind the counter (which is when they finally mentioned calling cops). I commend these dudes for trying to uphold this policy and not give the man the attention he wanted.
When he started behind the counter I felt the need to step in and help to shut the dork down and tell him to leave.
Again great job guys and keep up the good work and great prices!!!
They tried to make my under 2 year old son wear a mask!!
I came to this store to pick up a part that I had ordered online. Was only going to be in the store less than 5 mins. I had my 1-1/2 year old son with me and the manager came yelling at me the moment that I entered the store that I needed to have a mask on myself and my very young son!! I can handle wearing a mask myself but don't you dare tell me to put a mask on my under 2 year old son!! Will not shop here again. Auto Zone up the street was much more friendly and I will be going there in the future.
In and out with a new battery installed at no extra charge in less than 20 minutes. Also had new wipers installed on another occasion and was in and out in 10 minutes. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
The customer service has been dwindling downhill and the whole mask thing they are blowing out of proportion. I get hassled for not wearing the “right mask” and half the employees don’t wear mask but they require you?
Always have what I need even doing these rough times I was able to order my part pick it up outside online ordering is very easy to use and the person working there brought my order right outside to my car
Simple bulb replacement - asked the guy at the counter for low beam bulb. Gave me high beam. Wouldn’t exchange it because it was open. Never even connect them. Auto zone exchanged without hesitation.
I visited this store to purchase windshield wiper blades. The desk clerk asked for my make and model of my car and also year of my car. This enabled him to find the proper blades for my windshield. He offered me several options and I decided on the Bosch wiper blades. The clerk then installed them for me and that is what I love about Avance Auto Parts.
Stopped by today for some wiper blades for my car. The gentleman at the desk greated me and said he would help me in a moment after he finished up with a customer on the phone. I found my way to the wiper blades. They were in stock and the nice gentleman helped me price match them when he was done with the other customer. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely go back. I found out that there was someone else there that could have helped me even sooner, so I put a 4 star rating instead of 5.
As a retail manager I understand good customer service and how important good reviews are. That said, the Manheim Advance personnel are awesome. Every time I walk in there the people are extremely helpful and understanding. The aren't mechanics but you'd never know it to talk to them. I was working on my Jeep Cherokee exhaust on Sunday and as I'm sure everyone knows, exhausts can be a pain in the butt. So, after three trips I decided to try Auto Zone next door. I still didnt have the right part. I decided to go to Advance again and just purchase a plethora of exhaust adapters. I'm sure you can imagine the many receipts I had. Well, today I had to return the parts I didnt need. I had the pleasure of working with Mandy R. Of course I didnt have all the receipts I needed (4 trips) but it was not a problem for her. She refunded all I had and even asked if I wanted to combine the refund to my cc card. I will always offer you the first opportunity for my business (even if it means I order online). Thank you for restoring my faith in retail customer service.
I have been using AA in Elizabethtown for years, this one in Manhiem is as good as they are, very friendly staff and helped me out with getting the right parts the first time.
The folks at this location are typically very helpful. There have been several times where they do not stock an item here but have it at nearby stores which is inconvenient. Prices in general at Advance Auto are more expensive but with sales and coupon codes you can get some real deals.
Not a big fan of chain stores... But the guys in here are very helpful, and almost always know what there talking about. There prices are fair, but I'm always willing to pay a little more when I know it comes with good customer service.
