This company is predatory, especially toward people in emergency situations. Please do your research and avoid them at all costs. I’m filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and local consumer protection.

My name is Donna Schies. I was driving home from work on route 72 in Manheim on May 14th, when another driver ran a red light and hit my car. The police were called because of the crash. The police officer on duty called Kreisers Garage to tow my car. Upon arriving at the scene I requested that my car be towed to a garage in Lititz, but the tow truck driver said it was his wife’s birthday ( yeah right, of course it was) and he needed to get back and he refused to take my car to the garage that I requested him to take it to, even though on their website it says he will tow it anywhere within the Manheim and Lititz area.See photo below from website. So my car was taken to his garage because what else was I supposed to do in that moment. After I went home, I filed my claim. The other driver said it was all her fault so I was found not liable for the accident at all. The next step according to my insurance was to give consent to move my car to the insurance company’s inspection facility so that they could determine if it was able to be repaired or if it was going to be totaled. I gave my consent, and apparently there are charges involved in storing your car at a facility while you resolve a claim. So Kreisers was making money off of my car sitting on their lot which I would have been okay with, if it wasn’t used to try to capitalize and taking advantage of the situation. My insurance company tried to pay them for the towing and storage fees to which they denied the payment and requested that my insurance company pay them in cash.(Weird, right?) My insurance doesn’t pay for services with cash and I bet most insurance companies don’t. However, they made it happen but it took longer. Obviously Kreisers continued to collect more storage fees because of this. They had my car for over 10 days. So I decided to call the garage and act like a new customer and I asked them questions about their services and if they accepted credit cards and checks, to which they said yes. I guess they just don’t accept checks and credit cards from insurance companies? My insurance agent said they were holding my car hostage and that she would have to file a theft report if they didn’t release it. I feel like this is a form of insurance fraud and I thought maybe I should warn others about it. If you want to resolve an accident claim quickly don’t let Kreiser’s garage tow your vehicle. BTW this could have been costing me extra in rental car charges if I didn’t have another car to use. This company lies and scams accident victims. I wouldn’t even give them a star but Google made me. Don’t use them.

Never had a bad experience here. Gonna miss this place a lot if they ever decide to close.

During my inspection at the dealer on 08/22/24, I was informed that my front brakes needed replacement. The price quoted to me was $553.96. I declined but was concerned that my brakes needed replacement. I called Kreiser's garage on 01/03/25 and asked for an estimate. I was quoted $350 for the work. $200 savings - Wow! I made the appointment for service on 01/10/25. When I called to find out if my car was ready and the final price for the work, I was told the car was ready and the total was ZERO!!! Cory (the owner) said that I only put 600 miles on my car since inspection and the brakes were fine. He actually said "trust me" you can put 10,000 miles on your car before you need to think about replacing your brakes. I offered and wanted to pay him for the time it took to check the car for me but he said, no. It is a rare thing today to find such an honest and honorable person and business. Obviously, I want to give my highest rating to this outstanding business and can recommend them without ANY reservations.

Kreiser's is our go-to garage whenever we opt for repairs or service NOT with the dealer. With new vehicles, dealer's have an edge that they try to keep - but as soon as a vehicle moves beyond the warranty period, we head for Kreiser's. They've seen to the healthcare of our cars for 20+ years; they're best-of-best.

I got home from work and noticed I had a nail in my tire, it was about 4:10 in the afternoon, I called them and explained my situation, and wanted to make a appointment for tomorrow after work, the gentlemen said you can bring it in now, I was like Wow !! Where do you find a garage that would do that, so I took it there about 10 min . later , He said that the nail is out and it didn't go threw the tire, very thankful for that, and also put a little air in all 4 tires, and I asked what do I owe ? Nothing the gentleman said, I really was expecting to pay, but No , They didn't charge me, WOW !! Highly recommend Kreiser's Garage, Definitely very happy !! Thanks again !!

Kreisers Garage has always treated me with that family friendly care! Their staff is very knowledgeable and personable to interact with. I highly recommend them to others for your vehicle service.

I would highly recommend this please. They're very fair with their prices and in my experience, it doesn't seem like they're trying to make an extra Buck off you like most garages.

Kreiser's filled my oil at least 1+ quart over full. Had to reschedule and bring the car back for them to partially drain. Shop manager gave no apologies, just angry comments and snide remarks about my car. Technically should reimburse for damage to the engine, but instead it's my fault somehow. I really feel sorry for all the poor employees. Horrible experience.

Fantastic,just bought my son a 2020 Silverado for his 16th bday and unfortunately was leaking oil,Kreisers came in with a very fair price and inspected the vehicle for us,this garage is fantastic and I will no longer be using the typical Chevy,Ford,dodge dealership service departments anymore!!! They are amazing and priced so that the average family can still enjoy the nice things in the world without taking food off the table!!! Thank you guys great experience

Definitely recommend this garage. Had a check engine light Come on schedule an appointment with them and before I brought it in the light went off so I explained to him before I dropped it off what I thought what Was the issue they checked it out confirmed my suspicion and replaced it at a reasonable rate.

Unfortunately, my experience was a bad one. These people are messy and disorganized. Their office is a little dump. I would go in there and wait for them and they clearly saw me waiting and they ignored me. I Got new brake caliper and pads on my truck. I recieved the truck back and it was making noises that it had never made before. They made it right, but im a single dad who doesn't have time to take a car in twice for something that should have been done right in the first place. Then they inspected my toyota prius. I asked them to reattach the exhaust heat sheild so it stops rattling. They never did it. When I asked the owner a simple question because the bill was ambiguous he snapped at me infront of my 8 year old son. The lady is nice in there, but the guy who owns the place needs an attitude adjustment. If the way they keep the place is any indication of their mechanical work than I would say it's poor. No pride in the way you keep shop says about who you are as a person in my opinion.

Owner is awesome. They understand the issues and fix them at an affordable rate. They worked with me on finding the right tires at a great price. Inspection and emissions were done with no problems and gave me good info on the ware of my pads and rotors.

Absolutely fantastic group of people. Believe it or not, me and my wife both had crashes 24 hours apart and these guys helped massively in taking care of the towing and other needs asap. I have been taking my vehicles here for a few years now. Absolutely love it! Never had a bad experience or felt as though I was being ripped off. Honest, reliable mechanics!

I've been using Kreiser's for 15 years! The team here is always reliable and I know I can trust them. I use my cars really hard and I have always been able to count on these guys to fix whatever is wrong at a reasonable price and a quick turn around. I don't even live in the area anymore and I still drive 150 miles just to get my car serviced here. Highly recommend!

I got my car fixed here for a leak. Turn around time was twice as long as I was told but that wasn’t the issue with them. After I picked up my car from being “fixed” it suddenly had another problem it’s never had before. I called and explained and they told me to bring it back. I get there and 1, they told me it must be “a coincidence” that I magically have another car problem that I have NEVER had before and 2, they couldn’t even tell me what the cause was. I left and get home, have a family member look at it. Come to find out they replaced ONE spark plug (which you are not supposed to replace just one!) and on top of that it was the wrong kind for my car. Keep in mind, they never told me they even replaced one spark plug when I took it back for the new issue, only told me what the new issue MIGHT be and that it was a coincidence. I will definitely not be going back here. All they did was cause more issues to my car and kept it a secret.

Great garage. Works well with you as a customer. The company I work for uses him for all of our vehicle needs and I started taking my vehicle there as well. Every time I call for an appointment there isn't much wait time at all. Honest mechanic and fair prices.

Was involved in a hit 'n' run on vacation, car was towed there by mistake and ultimately worked got towed to another place but wanted to leave a positive review for the people that work here. They were great honestly. Would recommend them on how they treated my girlfriend & I alone.

Extremely friendly people who are surprisingly honest and transparent about what needs fixed and how much it will cost. They gave me excellent service at a very low price. Overall, a real pleasure to work with, especially in an industry where you would expect the opposite.

Corey is honest and great to deal with! It's never fun needing your car worked on, but Kreisers makes it as painless as possible. Their staff is knowledgeable and experienced. A++ place to go for any car and truck needs!!

This was the first time I was at Kreiser's Garage. I got an appointment quickly and on A day that worked for me. I waited on my car to get inspected it took 30 min. It was fast friendly service. I will definitely be back to support this local garage.

My van was totalled and Kreiser's was called to tow it from the accident. They charged fairly ($150) and were helpful in directing me to salvage yards that paid to come haul it away. The Kreiser guy was courteous and professional.

The vendor was responsive and it took a few days to get the appointment. I dropped the car off the night before. I received a phone call around 230 or 3:00 clock saying my car was done. I had asked for an annual Pennsylvania inspection as well as an oil change/lube. The oil change was $40 and it was another $40 to replace wiper blades, of which I never received a phone call asking permission to replace the blades. The cost of the Pennsylvania – required inspection and emissions was less than $50. The entire bill was $157. The costs were not posted in advance, but I did not pay attention because who would've thought that a simple inspection and oil change/lube would end up costing me $157 without even as much as a phone call asking if it was okay to replace the wiper blades with wiper blades cost $20 a piece. The service appeared to be done correctly, although I'm not commenting on quality because this is a simple oil change, wiper blade change, and inspection, and it is difficult not to do an adequate job. Another small, but poignant factor, is that when I went into the shop the two gentleman (turned out one was the owner of the business ) did not greet me or ask "may I help you?" I had to walk through the garage to the small back office and ask if I could pick up my car/ pay for my car. It was rather weird, as I felt like I was interrupting these gentlemen. In summary, I felt ripped off and did not feel like a valued customer! PS- this guy could be the best mechanic around (an oil change & inspection is not enough to judge), however, the labor and parts are extremely expensive and he does not know how to communicate/ treat customers!
