Honest and reliable…. Austin and team are great! They diagnosed the issue with my tire and fixed it while I waited. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our car.

I trust Welsh automotive to take care of my LUV (luxury utility vehicle). I had a brake fluid flush and state inspection taken care of at this visit. I have scheduled to get new tires next month.
They take care of my oil changes.
They are very helpful and friendly.

On our wedding anniversary we were traveling between farms in an old pickup truck that rarely leaves the farm. We had a very significant tire blowout and as luck would have it we were quite close to Welsh Automotive in Exton. We were able to carefully limp off of Route 30 on the shoulder and Welsh Automotive was right there. The service manager Austin was fabulously helpful. He was extremely accommodating and right away collaborated to help us get our tire changed and back on our way. It felt like we were being helped by a family member and it looks like they have a very well equipped facility.

Welsh is such a trustworthy and quality automotive shop. They explained the nature of their repair recommendation, didn’t make me feel pressured to pursue, and made accommodation to complete the work very timely. Highly recommend them!

This was my second visit at Welsh and they have moved into the top spot as my preferred mechanic. The communication is timely and transparent, the service is top quality and completed within my preferred time range, plus you’re gifted a scratch-off with your receipt. How fun! I highly recommend Welsh.

Stand-up person & auto shop!!

Stopped in (no appt) because my tire didn’t feel or sound right driving down the 30 bypass .. Jeremy immediately saw a nail in my tire .. Without hesitation, he pulled my car in the garage and fixed it within 15 minutes .. The nail was quite large!
I was on my way to an overnight trip and he saved me from getting a flat tire or blowouton the highway getting to my destination!
Not only did he fix my tire he wouldn’t let me cover any of the costs!
Pretty sure I found my new auto mechanic!!

I got my car inspected and oil changed. I was provided the information of what was required to be done and an update about what will need attention in the near future. Pricing was fair and straightforward and the work was completed in a very timely manner.

I have now used Welsh 3 times for eclectic Jeep Wrangler upgrades. I could not be more pleased with their service, friendliness and professionalism. They are also reasonably priced and service is prompt.

Austin is always friendly and professional and I’m always able to drop my car off for an oil change or inspection and have it completed by while I walk the Chester Valley Trail!

Just went for inspection service, but everything was great! Their after-hours drop off set up was super convenient, and my car was ready in a timely fashion, and the employees I talked to were very friendly. Did my inspection service at a United Tire last year, but Welsh’s pricing was much better. Will return for all car maintenance!

I am an out of state buyer and was looking for a thorough pre purchase inspection. Austin did an AMAZING and thorough job, noted all the specifics I had asked for as a new driver, and was super prompt and communicative during the entire process. He was so knowledgeable about this specific car (even if it’s not an “every day” common brand in the U.S.) And nice! The price was also very reasonable. I would 100% recommend Austin and the Welsh team.

Welsh auto comes through where dealer fails. I always bring my car to Welsh, but I had a factory defect that had to be replaced under warranty at the dealer. They butchered the issue and as “compensation” I asked for a “free oil change”. I put free oil change in quotes because after they took a look at my car’s oil during inspection, it was black And a quart of oil low. This was less than six months ago and I didn’t drive but a few thousand miles. Welsh found the problem, even though I was just in for a basic state inspection and even recommended a cleaning using BG products as a potential back stop just in case the engine was burning oil. What can I say? These guys are beyond honest and frankly amazing.

Welsh Automotive in Exton is my favorite place to have my car looked after, they are great at everything from scheduling to explaining what's wrong - if there even is anything wrong - after years of going there with multiple cars, I trust them to tell me the truth and do the job right. I'm so glad I found them and I'm sure you will be to!

I recently moved to Exton and saw several recommendations on FB about this local family-owned auto repair shop. I decided to give them a try for an oil change and my 30K mile maintenance — and I’m so glad I did!
They inspected my entire vehicle (including all filters) and told me everything looked great — they don’t replace parts unless they’re actually needed. That honesty alone earned my trust.
The oil change included a complimentary tire rotation, the price was less than the dealership, and they even provided a free loaner car while they worked on mine.
On top of all that, they followed up afterward to make sure everything was satisfactory.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, professional, family-run shop, I highly recommend them.

Welsh is honest about their findings about what is wrong with your vehicle. They are good explaining what is wrong with your vehicle while offering the best “fix”. I trust their assessments of my vehicle and the needed repairs.

Welsh Automotive has been great! I’m a new customer and had two separate issues with my 20+ yo Corolla, requiring attention within 7 days of each other. Jeremy is one of the nicest service advisors I’ve ever met. He was able to get the car in quickly, explain the assessment/repairs clearly, and get the parts to remedy the issue same day. While no one enjoys spending money on repairs, they made the entirety of the experience pleasant and even stapled a scratch-off lotto ticket to my receipt. Alas, not a jackpot winner, but I will be back (but hopefully not for a while!).

Jeremy and Alex were incredibly helpful! I was having issues with my undercarriage and couldn’t drive very far. Will ONLY get my car serviced by Welsh Automotive. I’ve been going to them for many years. I have referred many people to them and they are extremely satisfied with them, as well. They are honest, friendly, and will not do anything that doesn’t need to be done. I also appreciate how active they are in the community. Anyone who uses them will be happy. They are a true gem!!
