Literally selling trash. An empty Mount olive pickle jar for 2.99? That’s someone’s recycling. All the half decent stuff is being sold on eBay to the highest bidder. The in store selection keeps getting worse and worse. Just go on eBay and see for yourself. Selling donated books for nearly the same price as the original retailer.

I go in at least a couple times a week. The register staff is top tier friendly. The manager is.. questionable. Every time I go in I see him seemingly lecturing or getting onto his employees. But I can't say for sure. Prices are hit and miss, but overall I find great things !

I love this spot!! Never dissapoint. Since I was in the neighborhood I stopped in. Grabbed a few shirts. I already had the bottoms. Real nice selection for a reasonable price. They don't have bags so bring your own. You do have the option to purchase a reusable one.

A Clean Store with Friendly Staff, but Limited Electronics This Goodwill location was a mixed bag for me. On the plus side, the store was very clean and well-organized, and the staff were exceptionally friendly—some of the nicest I've met at a Goodwill. Prices were also reasonable. However, the electronics section, which is what I was most interested in, was very limited. While the staff and cleanliness are a definite draw, the sparse selection in the electronics department makes it less likely that I'll be a frequent shopper here.

Nice small Goodwill, there are plenty of good clothing and reasonable priced

The manager is so so rude. I have no other words for her. She yelled at me for donating bed. I didn’t know they don’t accept bed donations. While I was leaving she was yelling at everyone coming to drop of donations. This job is obviously not for her. You cannot be nasty to people. She needs more training

I used to love this place, but they write the price of their clothing ON THE GARMENT WITH THICK BLACK MARKER. Why?

Donations are nice and easy, just drop and go. Shopping isn’t very good because clothing is organized by color, not size. How am I supposed to find anything?

Hanging racks are so jammed with clothing it's hard to look through and find your size, since nothing is organized by size, mostly by color and maybe gender. Several types of items relegated to pile high on table bins and you have to try and dig through a mountain of stuff to see if there's anything in there you're interested in. Nowhere to put the stuff you're digging through, and no idea what the topic of this bin table is, since they are not labeled! Patrons lazily leave clothing in the dressing rooms, giant dust bunnies rolling around on the floor.

Love this place! Dirt cheap and I’ve found a few nice things, like this skirt, blouse, and pair of heels!

This is a 5-star location for the triangle (not necessarily compared to Goodwills outside the region). Great, but small selection of items. Really good selection of skirts and men’s outerwear. I wish the clothing was organized by size instead of just by type. There are no price tags on the items — they’re just counted by type at the register. Will return next time I’m in the area. The other locations in the Triangle are not as nice as this one. Very clean dressing rooms with mirrors on both walls! Plenty of hanger hooks in each room.

Some of the stuff is overpriced. However, they have a large selection of clothes, not so much for houseware stuff etc, and be careful they have roaches! As I was trying on some items, I noticed two roaches in the dressing room and one near the picture frames. Wash your things as soon as you get home.

I stopped at the Goodwill center on Timberlake Drive in Chapel Hill, usually a reliable source of excellent second-hand items. There I saw a neck massager/ heater on the shelves, but could not find a price tag anywhere. I brought it up to the front desk, and the lady there told me that she would look at it in a moment, while she handled other customers. I found something else to look at for six minutes, came back, and although there were no customers at the checkout, she acted as if I wasn't there. I looked at her and she said that the time "hasn't been processed, yet" and "I can't sell it 'til it's processed." Okay, then why have it available on the shelves? And why ignore me when I return to receive the price? ...Last time I'm visiting this store, If I need somebody to give me the runaround, then ignore me, and then tell me that items on her own shelves are not ready for sale, I'm not coming back. By the way, this was no level employee, she was the self-professed **store manager** She didn't say sorry, or anything, just dismissed me like I'm nothing. And to add insult to injury, when I first came into the store, I had made a donation to the store. Gosh, I wish I could take that back but no use even bring it up.

I went to this to check it out once and looking at cards. I’m thinking this awesome! The Hispanic lady that was working was very. I’m African American and she watched me like hawk like I was going to steal the cards it was so uncomfortable! Customer service is so bad these days!

One of the best goodwills in the area, super friendly staff, large store, and it is very easy to find unique items casual or nice dress clothes. This store has a huge selection and it is an amazing store with good quality clothes too!

Absolutely awful. Clothing is NOT organized by size, and after 20 minutes of searching, I can only assume they don't sell plus size garments. Clothing is sub par as well. Stained and stretched jersey garments were the norm. Very small selection of housewares, toys, decorations and books, and the staff was irritated and rude. Not worth anyone's time.

Sometimes you can find a great deal. I got a Yamaha Guitar in very good shape, missing some strings for $30 bucks! Put strings on for $10 and viola!

This Goodwill has the friendliest staff. They are cheerful and genuine, and I always feel welcomed. The store itself is just a typical Goodwill, but the staff make it one of the best ones!

Nice clothing that is well organized but the staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional. I was literally yelled at when I asked if a cart was available. They also regularly have really nice linens, bed sets and curtains but they are all thrown into one huge pile that you have to dig through. Even sets and pairs are not kept together, so you have to spend a lot of time searching through the pile. The straw that breaks the camel's back is that they only accept cash. I know that card processing has fees involved, but they are missing so much revenue not accepting cards. I would have spent triple on more than one occasion had they accepted card payments.

I went late in the evening around 7:30. The employees seemed irritated and not very friendly. I guess they were ready to go home. After the third incident, with bad attitude's I decided not to purchase anything and make a mental note not to visit in the evening anymore.

Terrible customer service despite having a decent clothing selection. I couldn't find anyone to check me out and was waiting near a register for someone. When a cashier appeared, they asked me why I was standing at a closed register - which I did not realize, then walked past me without checking me out at an open register. I wish I could've purchased some clothes, but couldn't get any help.

This GW has some high quality products at times. One must shop frequently, however. I have encountered antique dealers and other buyers shopping at this store for resale.

I support Goodwill and have since I was growing in Washington DC in the 60s and 70s. This store is excellent. Great location, very nice staff, organized and clean yes including the donation center. I have been to many donation centers where the working conditions were deplorable and likely unhealthy. Bravo to Goodwill and to Chapel Hill for having this facility! Reduce reuse recycle.

Tons of adult clothes, but minimal kids and baby items. There isn't much furniture, but the store is clean and doesn't smell. I've found a brand name dresses in great condition for about $5 each.

4' section of books, and not a huge selection of misellaneous wares. Mostly womens clothing, which i don't shop for. Make sure to bring cash, as this place is cash or check only, and does not take debit or credit cards. Prices are typical goodwill style. Not many customers there the couple of times i went.

Tell your girl you're going back the selection of items was great, however her customer service was terrible two of the workers constantly walk behind me and my family because we were dressed a certain way and assumed that we were trying to steal I wouldn't recommend going there if your under the age of 27 and dress in normal attire because you will be judged

Bad customer service. I don't really mind the mediocre selection of items but what I did mind was the horrible costumer service I received by a petite brunette who proceeded to argue with me about she couldn't check me out even though I was the next in line. Will definitely be calling the store manager at some point.

The Bad Will of Goodwills. Mediocre selection of items that are priced ridiculously high on somethings, and silly low on others. Clothing is consistent and fair priced. There is a stuffed ET doll there now, not vintage, with a Sharpie marked price of $99.00. My daughter wanted it, but no way would anyone with half a mind pay this price. How is this helping the community? A dirty old vintage Dyson vacuum with a $79.00 price tag? Take that Sharpie away from whomever is pricing things! Your items are better donated, and your money is better spent at the Durham Rescue Mission or the Chapel Hill and Carrboro PTA's. These organizations at least help working class and needy folks without ripping them off and pretending to be a "charitable organization".

Bright, spacious, and clean as a thrift store can be. Courteous staff. Selection hasn't been great--a lot of orphaned, ugly suit jackets that might best be cleared away. Clothes not organized by size.
