I am an occasional shopper at this location and more often use their hot bar. When relaxing at the tables provided, it was nice to look at some of the publications provided in the racks, such as the weekly Indy magazine. Today, Jan 13, I noticed all the racks have been removed and there will apparently no longer be reading material offered to patrons. This was a bad decision and I will be curtailing my visits to this Whole Foods in the future.

Ordered a gluten free sushi platter for Christmas Eve. They had to customize it to avoid gluten. Excellent customer service in the sushi bar. It was super fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Overall, this WF has a great selection. Only knocked one star off because they are frequently out of Homestead Creamery milk which I need weekly for making yogurt. The ultra-pasteurized milks just won't work so if they are out which is often, I have to make a separate trip to the Durham Co-Op Market.

Beautiful store in the three workers that I spoke to were all super nice

Interestingly, Whole Foods has very little 'whole wheat bread'. The labels say 'Enriched wheat flour' which means it is white flour with little or no wheat germ or fiber. I found only one loaf that said 'whole wheat flour' as it's second ingredient after water.

Tried to exchange clearly expired coffee. Instead of helping me exchange it (and with a receipt from 4 days prior), spent 15 minutes with the employees arguing with me about the bag I used, “bulk coffee” terminology, and not “having the brand” in their stock book. Had to personally go find the coffee bag after an employee insisted they didn’t have it. I get it’s Whole Foods and a corporation, but I won’t be back after this experience.

I have a great time shopping here. I love the fancy cheese selections most of all…There’s a quirky young lady in charge over there who helps me find exciting new things nearly every time I come in. She is personable and knowledgeable and brightens my day! The seafood always looks good too and I love the prime member deals. Fresh produce, smiling employees, and quality ingredients lists. They’ve spoiled me to shopping anywhere else.

Produce department has rotten produce on the salesfloor every time I visit. It is difficult to find good tomatoes, I have seen rotten potatoes, and they clearly do not rotate their avocados as I see the most ripe ones at the bottom of the pile. Whole Foods has a reputation to maintain and prices to justify and this store is not up to standards. They ought to be ashamed of themselves being a high-traffic store and this being what they have to offer their customers. The problems at the produce department need to be addressed ASAP.

Wow, the customer service has certainly gone down here at the checkout line I had my groceries placed to be scanned waiting for the customer in front of me to get finished with their order. I was standing there for about ten minutes. When the customer in front of me finally finished, the checkout clerk told me she was closed and I needed to put the groceries back in my cart and find another checkout line. How rude!!!

This store is the finest in the area. They have a broad selection of fresh organic produce. Employees are always available to answer questions. If I can’t find a particular item in any part of the store, an employee will accompany me to find what I was looking for. They have a nice selection of seafood with employees always available to cut and package whatever I’m buying- including packaging my selection on ice, if I request it. The bakery has an extensive selection of fresh cakes and other treats, not to mention the freshly baked sour dough and multigrain breads delivered that morning from a local bakery. There are many things to love about this particular Whole Foods store. Obviously it is well managed and the employees are well trained.

I have never before walked into a grocery mart and actually LOST my appetite. The hot bar dishes looked dry and stale. Walking through the store is a lot of presentation, but little real product. The pricing is ridiculous and for me, I will not shop there.

In the past months, I have noticed that there is produce going bad. The produce is moldy and not edible. The meat department usually doesn’t serve after 8pm. And usually in a bad mood. The bakery also never tends to restock tiramisu on Fridays. When I try to get a latte in the morning. There is no baristas and this has been like this for months. There needs to be a quality check before they are on the sales. Or at least checked up during the week.

This Whole Foods is generally great, but today I went shopping and got something that has been expired for over a week. Today is Aug 2nd and the thing expired 07/20. I only noticed it after I left the store and trying to get a refund has been difficult.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience at this store. To begin with, the parking lot is very limited and the spaces are extremely narrow. There’s only one entrance and exit, which adds to the congestion. Once inside, customers are funneled through a designated narrow entryway, which feels inconvenient and unwelcoming. The selection of groceries and fresh produce is similar to other supermarkets of the same type, but prices are roughly 10% higher across the board. I checked the meat and seafood section — although the items were supposedly packaged the same day, the meat looked dry and shriveled due to inadequate refrigeration or lack of ice. Organic vegetables were displayed in a natural, rustic way, but their quality wasn’t noticeably better than those at other stores. The in-store bakery section is quite small. While browsing, I accidentally bumped into a lady who was squatting down in a tight spot — the layout just feels too cramped. I picked up a box of chocolate cake, which turned out to be overly sweet. I also bought a rotisserie chicken, which was a few dollars more expensive than elsewhere. Despite the “natural” seasoning, the skin was clearly burnt and left a bitter aftertaste. On a positive note, there is a row of dining tables near the exit, which is a thoughtful touch. However, I didn’t see any restrooms — or even a sign indicating where one might be. Overall, I don’t see myself returning. There’s nothing particularly competitive or unique about this store to justify the higher prices and less-than-ideal shopping experience.

The honest truth is while Whole Foods used to be truly organic in the beginning, food Cooked there was close to excellent, and I remember being station in Crystal City DC it was very decent place to go and gets cooked meal, unfortunately not anymore since the passed on to Amazon’s owner the quality has declined tremendously but at this point the organic healthy food was already spread so customers don’t look into or question the products sale there. I shop most of the time in Chapel Hill, NC and you have to be careful with the quality of the food there bad oils are the culprit of most autoimmune problems in our society and Canola oil, sunflower oils are the main oils use in their food, Yes is cheaper but the food you buy is not! Produce is displayed until rots and just if you don’t know but once is a produce that is not organic cannot run elbows with those that are so you loose your organic factor prices do not get lost they stay the same or higher as it is everything to eat this days. You want healthier food go to the local farmers not the supermarket everything gets spray with ethylene to preserve them. Little do they know the more you spray the leaves the faster they will rot.

Now an " Amazon" store, it's gone from crowded to sparsely shopped at. From local foods and baking with progressive employees, to nothing very exciting or creative. We only go there now if we need to. Instead like many others, we shop at Weaver Street Market in Carrboro, where people there are diverse and support the community with food for children at school and more.

If you can avoid bringing your Amazon returns here, please do. The staff here is very careless and does not know how to do their job. I brought two of the same item to return, and the girl working the return station only processed one of them. As a result, I was only refunded for one item and not the other. This kind of mistake is unacceptable, especially when it costs customers money. Do better.

Sometimes, I'll luck up, but overall, they're not very hospitable. The business itself has changed a lot over the years (as most of us know). Seems like they're (the store associates) focused more on shopping/ processing the online orders and less on the in store shoppers. It's probably my least favorite, but from time to time, it's unavoidable. Advice: Get what's needed and get out.

I love Whole Foods Market! Always fresh and yummy! The staff at the bakery were incredible and friendly! I bought a vanilla sheet cake and chocolate sheet cake both with Happy Birthday wording on it. It was nice there were a lot of options for 100% beeswax candles. I asked a baker what kind of natural food coloring they use to make the purple color, and this is what the baker showed me. It was nice to see the actual bottle. So here it is! Thank you! While they were writing my custom Happy Birthday on the cake, I did some shopping. This Whole Foods is very clean and organized. Happy shopping!

Let me think ? for a second . Ok..I normally go to the Whole Foods at Friendly Center Greensboro. I work near this location & stop by frequently on my lunch for a smoothie.I gave it a 3 stars b/c the young lady at the coffees, smoothie area has a interesting personality. No hello, thanks, have a great day. Even after being tipped. However the store is clean & the people at the checkout is nice.

This review is for the pickup experience. You should know if you’re ordering groceries and you allow substitutions they will not give you substitutes that make sense. I tried the pickup experience today because I’m experiencing a flare in my chronic illness and didn’t have energy to pick my own groceries, otherwise I would have at a different market. Ordered a bunch of leeks to make leek soup. Received a bunch of green onions. Went into the store to seek a return or exchange and was informed they can’t handle that and shrugged me off. Went to the produce section. There were individual leeks available. Asked if I could exchange for a leek. “No because it’ll mess up our inventory counts”. So now I’m waiting 5-7 days for a refund to my original payment method for the green onions. And they act like you’re the crazy one for being frustrated by this process. This is a huge corporation and they chose to lose a customer today over a $3 piece of produce and their own error. But they own everything already so they don’t care. Go to your local farmers market or co op. That’s what I’ll be doing, chronic illness and all.

Whole Foods closed down their salad bar early because staff called in sick. I spoke to the manager and she was not particularly pleasant. Another poor customer service experience. Your operation should not hinge on one or two people calling out. That’s lost sales, not to mention a poor customer experience, and poor planning on the manager’s part. I drove 30 minutes and I’m not coming back for two weeks. The manager acted like it was not a big deal. IT IS. Food is an essential and I rely on their salad bar for my regular meals each week. I’ll still be going back there because I haven’t found an alternative YET.

Nice clean and well organized and well stocked store. The Health Market staff is always very helpful when you need a helping hand finding a product! The only product that I am not sure about is their “wild caught” Atlantic or Sockeye salmon as it seems to occasionally taste and appear to have bones more like Coho salmon! I could be wrong in that assessment as I seldom eat any variety of meat or fish! I go for their very decent organic greens and fruit and the Prime Member discounts!

This place has got some really good selection of high quality foods as well as a lot of good drink options. The place was clean and well stocked with everything I needed. Bathrooms were well kept too. Overall a pretty good place to get some of your shopping in!

This is a GREAT whole foods location. The parking can be a challenge but the size of the store and selection make up for it. The prepared food section is second to none with at leaat 10 different types of cuisine made to order in addition to the usual hot bar staples and packged options.

Been shopping here for years. Today we stopped in to pickup an Amazon order (so convenient) and decided to grab a pizza for dinner. Love the convenience of getting a huge custom made pizza right when we want it. Store is always seems fully stocked and plenty of staff to help us. They always have plenty of cashiers. The self checkout is always available & they have a staff mbr ready to help.

Update May 2022 - regrettably the check out problems persist. 20min wait today. Unacceptable. Another update. Checkout problems persist. Very long waits. Hope you have extra time!!! Again very long wait times. Food got cold waiting in line. Not sure why this cannot be fixed. Another update. Again long lines. Noon with one cashier open for express line. Please fix wait times. Bring extra time. This is an update - long lines again at checkout. Wait times 15 minutes yesterday and 10 minutes today. I am huge whole foods fan and love this store and the employees as well as products. Unfortunately ever since the Amazon take over check out lines are severely understaffed. Regardless of time of day be prepared to wait in line at least 5 minutes. During peak times I have waited in excess of 20 minutes. Please hire more cashiers!!!! Other less high end stores, even discount stores have shorter wait times. Plan in extra time for this store.

Great selection of produce and fresh food (bakery, sandwiches, meats, etc.). Great dining area. Aisles are not very wide, but that would be my only complaint.
