I am so so thankful for the team at this location, I received nothing but welcoming, informative, and professional treatment. The specific individuals who helped me were: Nicole, Caitlin, Diana, and Dr. Brahmi. I couldn’t possibly thank them enough, I had the surgical procedure with the IV sedation (if you can afford it I HIGHLY recommend it). As with any medical establishment there is a wait time, expect to be in the clinic approx 4-6 hours. However, during that time they go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable, fully educated on your options, and most importantly they ensure your safety throughout the process. As for the procedure, I was put to sleep before I had the chance to feel any form of pain, then the kind nurses helped me dress myself. They then provided a heating pad, blanket, comfortable chair, and snacks. Overall I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars, if you’re in a tough spot like I was you can rest assured that you will be taken care of here.

I got the copper iud the doctor analisa was rude with me,i was screaming i had no anestesia they say there are not enough nurses!so i was screaming with pain and she was making faces and they say they care about other patients hearing me screaming ( i don’t give a damn i was suffering is her Job to treat patients and worry about what they think NOT MINE i was suffering A LOT was so painful i would say 0/10 honestly …

The most amazing and thoughtful staff. Only complaint was how long the wait was, but honestly worth it for how comfortable and listened to i felt for any appointment i went to.

paid out of pocket for in clinic abortion, just for me to find out 3 days later.. i was miscarrying because the procedure wasn’t done correctly!

The place i would recommend! The staff were great and I want to give. A shout out to the nurses Makayla and Catlin, nichol, dr Francis, they were all Incredibly so nice and sweet you walk me through everything step-by-step and Michaela even let me hold her hand through the whole process so I can’t thank her enough for being my rock at that time. I really do appreciate it! ???

If i could give 0 stars i would very rudy lady taking us back to do our vitals also appointment at 10:15 didnt see a doctor untill 230 horrible experience steer clear.

I wish I can give more than 5 stars. This place is amazing. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor, they are amazing. During the procedure, I had I was a little scared. But, they made me feel relaxed. They talked to me during the whole procedure. I requested to not know what was happening and they followed just that. I just want to say thank you to the entire staff. I would recommend this planned parenthood to anyone that isn’t sure what is the next step.

i went here to get my procedure done as I had to fly from Florida. Everyone was so amazing, friendly, and made the environment so comfortable. There was no ounce of judgement at all from them. i cannot thank them enough for every single thing. For me the wait was not that long. I would recommend this place so much. Thank you for taking such great care of me <3.

I'm putting this under a different name, for my privacy. But this place was phenomenal! From the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Yes, there is a bit of a wait, but hey what can you do about it. My appointment was at 920, I didn't leave until 215. But they do tell you that at the front desk. But ALL of these nurses and Dr there were literally heaven sent. They made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. I went to have my procedure done with no sedation, and Dr Wallace reassured me that if any time she need to stop let her know. The other nurse was in there, holding my hands the whole time ? and coaching me through my breathing. I was sooo scared going in, but everyone made the experience so much better.

I was seen here about 2 weeks ago, and Dr. Andrea found I was either having an early pregnancy miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Over the next few days I had some blood work done to look at my HCG levels. On Tues Sept 3rd I was seen at another location to get their thoughts and another HCG test done, as I was having bleeding but no pain. Sept 4th, I got call from Andrea in the morning expressing her concerns that I am having an ectopic pregnancy based on my results from the previous day and that I needed to go straight to the ER to be seen as it can be dangerous if it were to rupture my fallopian tube. I was on my way to work and went straight to the ER, they found blood in my stomach and signs that indicated it was going to rupture soon and needed to go into surgery that day. I give 5 stars to Andrea and the whole team at Chapel Hill as they were so kind to me while I was there and to Andrea for advising me to go straight to the ER that day, if she had not things would have turned out different, she even checked on me while I was at the ER as well as the day after to see how I was doing. So to her I am thankful.

10/10 experience. The wait was a little lengthy but that was expected as they tell you at the beginning of the appointment. Everyone was so nice and understanding. And walked you through every step!

I had a surgical procedure scheduled at this location yesterday. I had to drive 6 hours from out of state as my state’s PP could no longer assist me. There was a massive crowd of protesters outside but also so many nice ladies guiding us in and shielding us from them. Not gonna lie, the wait was long. My appointment was scheduled for 10am, and I didn’t leave until around 4. But honestly, I fully expected that wait since this location is one of a few in the entire south that’s still full service. So just keep that in mind. I was terrified, but was met with the kindest people at every turn giving me plenty of smiles and reassurance. They were very attentive and so caring, and they took the best care of me that I could have asked for. The procedure itself was super fast and completely painless (much to my surprise). And I think that’s totally because of the expertise and care of the doctor and nurses. The people that work here and do what they do are literal angels on earth, and they truthfully saved my life yesterday. I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for them and my option to CHOOSE. I will forever be grateful and highly recommend to anyone seeking care.

This facility is a God Send, after having a horrible experience at Preferred Women's Heath Center, instead of going back there in two weeks like they asked I came to Planned Parenthood. Complete different all the way around. First, the staff is knowledgeable! They are caring! They are gentle! The women that work here are legit angels! It was a wait but not bad, and it wasn't so crowded that you had no where to sit! And it's super cleans! Congratulations to the Dr and staff! You are helping so many women.

A wonderful place full of beautiful and kind souls. The wait time is understandable— they have a lot on their plates as all the staff is continuosly on their feet. I was so scared and anxious when arriving but just now leaving, I feel relieved and at peace thanks to this planned parenthood’s staff. Thank you so much for all of your kindness and compassion throughout this difficult time. You guys were so sweet and gentle with everything and were extremely thorough in explaining everything. I hope that everyone at this location finds themselves forever in great health and happiness. Thank you all so much. You are the kindest people to roam this earth and your services and hearts are tremendously appreciated.

why do they allow patients family or friends to be in the waiting room. I understand for support or a ride but they should have to wait in their car and called when needed. I found it very uncomfortable when I came in for my appointment and had no where to sit while I filled out my form. As well as men in the waiting room? one of which was watching videos on his phone with the volume turned up. I don’t understand how this is not policy. I’ve been to Charlotte location and they do not allow you to have visitors in the waiting room.

Loved every staff member and doctor! Everyone was so attentive, supportive, informative, compromising and extremely caring. As someone coming from out of town I did not know what to expect. But I loved and appreciated the awesome experience they provided for me the past 2 days! Thank you guys so much!!!! The environment was also very calm and quiet which I loved as well!

The staff is okay when you are seen in person for a procedure, not very compassionate or personable in my opinion which makes things even more awkward and uncomfortable. However, once you leave they could care less about after care. It’s like their job is to provide service and get you out, doesn’t matter what happens afterwards. It’s been almost a month since my procedure and I still feel terrible. I’ve tried calling multiple times and they just tell me “it’s normal” and to wait until it’s been a full month to be seen again. Even though I was told at the clinic multiple times by multiple different people that I should feel back to normal and pregnancy symptoms should start to go away by a week afterwards. To me it’s just not normal and it’s not okay how they treat you as if you’re just another patient and they don’t really care.

The staff is so kind and considerate! I showed up early for my appointment and they got me in as soon as they could! I didn’t wait long at all. Thank you for safely changing out my nexplanon! 10/10 recommend :)

Staff is extremely helpful and passionate about their job. However My appointment was at 8:50 am & it’s currently 3:15 pm and I still haven’t begun my procedure! Make sure you have a free full day if you are coming to the Chapel Hill office very slow !

I wondered why the reviews of this place weren't that great and I was even hesitant to come here. However, I have to say that I had a positive experience and am super grateful they were there for me. I've come to the conclusion that most people with mostly good experiences are probably not as likely to review as those with a. truly negative experiences (uncommon) and b. those who have entitled mindsets and don't take into consideration that this type of place can't move as quickly as a fast food drive through (as most negative reviews indicate). While there is always room for improvement, we should be thankful that against the odds, this place exists to offer novel care to women.

The staff are truly kind and care. I am giving a one-star review because I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 9:50 on Aug 4,2021 and arrived at 9:30 to check in after a two hour drive there. I waited almost forty minutes and then they had me wait in the car because there were so many people. I did not get in to see any care provider until almost 11. I was in and out of exam rooms and waiting rooms and didn't get to complete my purpose of being there until around 3. The clinic was closed while I was in recovery and I did not leave until 3:30. Do not go to this location unless you have a day to waste. It is not their fault they are understaffed but they could definitely book to fit their staffing. It was the most irritating day in a while and I couldn't leave because I needed care.

the nurses were so nice and personable with me during my appointment, they provided anxiety medication for my procedure and the recovery room had blankets heating pads drinks and snacks for afterwards to make me feel better. better nurses and doctors i’ve met than at any other health facility i’ve been to!

Went here for a wellness exam and had an amazing experience from start to finish. I’m not a fan of going to the doctor and have been especially scared of visiting any kind of clinical setting during the pandemic; however, planned parenthood did amazing job making feel safe and comfortable on site. The clinicians and staff were incredibly kind and great about answering all of my questions. It was easy getting scheduled online and, once there, I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time, which is great because I hate sitting in waiting rooms. Very appreciative of everyone for making me feel at ease. I will definitely be returning for my annual visits. Thank you guys for all that you do!!!

I had a very pleasant time going in for IUD removal, while I've found that other providers have brushed off my pain or concerns I felt like I was actually listened to here. It can be tough to get an appointment and be seen on time but there are times that are less busy that you can shoot for. Otherwise, I still count this as an amazing service. Especially in an area that I would imagine has a VERY high volume of people seeking reproductive healthcare.

When they say you might be here 4 to 6 hours you better bring snacks, a pillow, a jacket, and a charger. They will take your information and vitals quickly but then you wait forever to actually get your procedure done. I have been here since 10:30. They closed at 3 and it is 3:50 now. They only have one provider and I have to come back tomorrow since I'm having a 2 day procedure. You have been warned.... go somewhere else.

I've only ever been to one other Planned Parenthood, but this location blew the other out of the water. Be prepared to spend all day here if you're going for anything other than a prescription refill, but I think that's kind of to be expected. The staff and doctor were all very kind and informative, they really make you feel like you're cared about. I went alone for my appointment, tout they made sure to have a person in the room to hold my hand. I went way out of my way to come to this location, but should I need to visit again I will be going back here.

This place is amazing! I received a free iud and everyone was so nice. There are protesters but they aren't near the entrance. To counter them there are planned parenthood volunteers waiting to greet you outside the door.
