I told the mechanic what I believed the issue was (non-ignition related) but he insisted on running a diagnostic scan, which cost $120, only to confirm what I already said. While I understand shops need to verify issues, it felt like an unnecessary expense in this case. A simple test drive/inspection would likely have been sufficient for a quote. Additionally, car was kept overnight without informing me. Otherwise, service was professional and the receptionist was fantastic.

GREAT honest shop. I’ve brought my fussy Civic Si here twice and they have a decent price but most importantly got the work done faster than any shop I could find in the triangle area. I was quoted double up the road at Browns to fix my A/C and they did it for $1k. If you need good auto work, put this shop in your contacts.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this repair shop that I feel compelled to warn others about. I initially paid over $400 for brake repairs, but the brakes failed again within 24 hours of pickup, nearly causing an accident. When I returned the vehicle, it remained in their shop for over two weeks before they completed the second repair attempt. The communication regarding pricing was also problematic. The mechanic quoted approximately $250 for the brake master cylinder but upon pickup claimed the part cost over $400. I later verified that this exact part is available new from Ford for the originally quoted price of around $250. Most concerning is that after already paying $400+ for the initial failed repair, they're now demanding an additional $800 to complete the work properly. Based on my experience with their workmanship, pricing inconsistencies, and extended repair times, I strongly recommend seeking service elsewhere.

Mr. Garcia is an extremely good mechanic who is very well priced and kind. He is so lovely to work with and has been great to me and my family. I am so happy to be able to feel safe in my vehicle after he works on it, knowing he will make sure my car is safe to drive before I leave. Everyone at the front desk has been extremely helpful as well. Five stars! Thanks so much!

I took my car here for the first time, a very pleasant experience. The owner, Saul Garcia, was extra helpful and kind and generous. I suspect he is like that to other customers. While he worked with me a woman customer came into the shop and said to him, "I will bring you the lasagna next week, I have to go out of town this week.' And she thanked him for the work he did on her car. If you have a business where your customers want to go out of their way to do something nice for you, that says a huge amount about your business style. I also felt that way when I left. I will be back (hopefully my car won't need to go there soon.)

I have been to Garcia a few times. I am often reluctant to go to any mechanic for fear of getting ripped off. I generally feel like Garcia tries to be fair with their customers and even goes above and beyond in some cases. I recently had a flat tire that they were going to patch for me. When the guy looked at it, he found no leak and when I asked him what it costed just to have him look at it, he charged me nothing. Also, they replaced an alternator for me a while back. The owner said they spent longer on it than he thought the job should take, so he didn't charge me for the extra time they spent on it. If you want a mechanic you can trust, I highly recommend these guys.

Well, our family has found our mechanic. We have seven vehicles, mostly older, so having a mechanic we trust is essential. Recently we needed an expensive repair (back wheel bearing assembly and struts on a 2003 Subaru Forester). My fella found Garcia's with a Google search. He liked all the good reviews so we took a chance and WOW are we impressed. Juan and his team went above and beyond and were fair with the price. Juan patiently explained what was needed and alerted us to future concerns with zero pressure. All the people on his small team that we met were friendly and helpful. Seriously, five stars all the way!!

I have never written a review for anything before. Most things have never illicited that reaction from me. And yet, here I am. Mr. Garcia has values that I find very admirable and important when it comes to choosing a mechanic. He does good, honest work and he does it extremely well. He cares for the customer and his business alike and it's felt very prominently through any conversation had. I had a large, foreboding and expensive repair that needed to be done, and my car came back even better than I could've hoped for. Truly a man and practice I can trust, and I feel confident telling others to trust him too.

The guys there are amazing. They were very upfront about what was wrong with my van and the prices were totally reasonable. I've since brought other vehicles to them and have had the same experience. Totally recommend!

Garcia auto repair was just great! My car broke down on 54 and Talbot towing towed me to Garcia auto repair. They were able to fix a problem that two other auto repairs couldn't! They even cleaned my lights free off charge! Very friendly and professional staff. Definitely coming back!

Garcia auto repair was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! Juan was extremely nice and helpful. I came in with a grinding sound that I thought was going to be something really bad and potentially expensive. Shortly after leaving my car, Juan called me and said it was just the brakes and it would be a quick fix, nothing to worry about. Barely an hour later I was back on the road! Best Auto repair shop in North Carolina. Mr Garcia is a real standup man! Replaced my engine and repaired other items that were a result of an incompetent repair shop in Durham. Personally called and ensured everything was ok with the vehicle after my drive back to Jacksonville FL. Great work at a very fair price.

Garcia exceeded expectations on every vehicle repair they have done for us so far. Garcia first spent some time making my wife's old Volkswagen functional again. She bought the car new in 2003 and just loves that car, now with over 220,000 miles and a salvage title from an accident 6 years ago. Other mechanics tried to make the car reliable again and failed, but Garcia made that old thing right in a week at a reasonable cost. Garcia replaced the engine in my minivan. When the van came back to me it ran better than ever and was cleaner than the day I bought it years ago. Now he is putting brakes, shocks, and struts on my other minivan and I know it will come back to me better than ever.

I had an issue with a stripped oil pan bolt. We didn't want to lose all the oil in the tank but needed to replace the plug. Raul not only helped change the plug he also did it so we wouldn't have to replace all the oil again. Thank you for helping and taking such good care of us!
