I don’t go anywhere else! They’re friendly, professional… the whole atmosphere is chill!! I tried going to another place in Wilkes. But it was not the same…Wilkes people were not helpful …so I drove back here!!

We just left and it was a great experience. I called for first to find out which location to go and current pricing on copper and brass. She was so nice on the phone. I had the brass and copper separated and lots of misc scrap. The lady was super nice and loaded it all. I had actually pre weighed the brass and copper. The guy at the weighing was awesome and informative. The weights were the same as mine. The cashier was nice. The whole process was great. I highly recommend taking g the time to do this if you have a load. Mine was leftover in our shop and under our deck.
I brought 19 bags of cans. Unloaded them myself. After I unloaded I set in the car a while. No other cars were around. Four workers were sitting down chatting close to me. I go over and ask who I need to talk to for help. Black dude told me they are on break. I said where is some else to talk to. He said the whole plant was on break (this is a little over an hour until they close). After I set in the car another 10 minutes I take a picture of them relaxing. I believe one noticed I took a picture so I was helped right after. On top of that, I brought 185 lbs approximately and was paid for 151. Never going back there.
Good prices, nice people, and low wait times unless prices are up but you still don't have to wait very long. Would be great if they posted their daily pricing up on their website to share with everyone because sometimes the phone line is busy when calling to check. Overall good place!
Mis managed place. Show up early if you want to get out at a decent time. They all take lunch at one time and shut down everything no matter how many are waiting. I understand people need lunch but why shut it all down at one time? Stagger the lunches or get capable people that can run or manage this establishment.
Went to recycle aluminum cans today at the facility on Monroe Street. Called up there before I went they said they closed at four got there at 10 till four and no one was outside no one was in line I waited a few minutes and finally one of the truck driver said that if they were an outside more than likely they were closed. So I drove all the way down there for nothing some guy name Seth did come up to me and yell at me they were closed while I was fixing my straps after I rode all the way down there. They weren’t doing nothing but standing at the time clock waiting to leave at 10 till guess you need to come back tomorrow. I guess it is hard to find good help these days and apparently good management to
Everyone was extremely nice and willing to help me. I took a pickup loaded aluminum cans this morning. 25 30 gallon size. They were paying .58 per pound.
I was in and out in about 15 minutes from the time I got there till I drove out.??????
I dearly love this place I turned in a bunch of copper got a real good price for it they were super busy but yet took the time to talk to me when they were doing mine very positive I will be going back again
