Lifesaver!!! There was a part that I NEEDED to have immediately. The other auto part stores didn't have it and I am extremely grateful that they had it. Also, the staff was super friendly, attentive, and quick with servicing me. Thank you for everything.
Policy says they should accept a return without a receipt and give you store credit at least if it’s within 30 days but they only follow their policy when they want. So keep your receipts they don’t follow their rules
This is the second day in a row I have been there and the same person helped me both days, very helpful and a good sense of humor, great atmosphere in the shop, but one guy there needs some volume in order to live life a little better. He should remember these are autoparts, not hearts and lungs, but all in all it is fun to see people loosing there stuff when they are the only ones doing that and everyone else has a smile on their face... and to the guy that helpped me thank you, you made my day way easier!!!! KUDOS !!!

Only one sales associate in the front. Bro stressing over 3 people since their busy in the back running comercial orders. Came in for a battery since my old one gave out mid ride but anyways i tell him i have a 4 year warranty but no no he has to do all these tests and the terminals dirty pulls out multimeter i just told him your scanner isn’t saying complete yes but at the same time we drained it out. Bro just flips out throws the battery i left the store with my battery LOL. My grandpa said he can test it out later lmaooooo.
I have been to this location a few times. I came in recently because my headlight went out. Chris M was very knowledgeable, kind and answered all my questions with no hesitation. Thank you Chris!! I will definitely continue coming to this location for my car needs!
Please hear me when I say this, STAY AWAY from this place.
They sold me a battery 3 weeks ago and installed it incorrectly. The metal rings were not flush with the terminals, causing the battery to overload and short out. Luckily the car didn't quit when I was on the way home from Florida, but at my apartment. I called Hyundai/AAA roadside when my car wouldn't crank (no clicking, no nothing) and they tested everything and showed that the battery was the culprit. Not happy, I went back to this location to demand a replacement as the battery was for one, installed improperly by them but two, it was under warranty. Luckily I had a male with me who stood up to their bullying, aggressive behavior, and all around lack of professionalism.
I won't go into all that was said but the manager appeared out of nowhere to begin raising his voice, chastising me, insulting me, and was trying to bully his staff into not replacing the battery. He even had the audacity to tell his staff that they should put my used/drained battery back on the shelf because there was nothing wrong with it.
So buyer beware, you will meet a bunch of rude and nasty people and also could be purchasing used and defective equipment with no recourse. Had I been alone, they would have pushed me out of the store and not replaced the battery as I insisted.
I will be reaching out to corporate and personally contacting higher up employees with Advanced Auto Parts.
I’ve shopped here for YEARS. Always had great experiences but someone should tell the woman with brown hair that standing on her phone when a customer needs help isn’t professional. I was in desperate need of a battery for my car, I didn’t even need them to install it and she refused to sell me anything because they close in 12 minutes. I could have been in and out in 2. They lost a $150 sale and a customer.
I had to get a new car battery, and Jarrett not only verified that the replacement was the right one for my car. He also installed it right on the spot!!
I had went to Firestone (Concord Mills) first, and they didn’t have my battery in stock-and of course they were about to close. (What a coincidence)
They beat them all they were the only store that had all the relays I needed, for my Nissan and for half the price. Of course they had to order two from another store so I'm going to pick them up now. I got my relays and one had been packages wrong from the supplier ski they switched it out no problem. Great store.
I visited this store location on may 8th at 8:15am. I was having issues trying to figure out how to check my oil because I have a new car and it wasn’t the traditional oil stick type. I went in to the store and there were two guys standing there one of them was on the phone and the other was standing there doing nothing. I looked at the gentleman who was doing nothing to see if he could help me, and he pointed to the other gentleman on the phone. Once the other individual got off the phone I explain my situation to him and asked him what type of oil I needed for my car, he seem very rude almost like I was inconveniencing him. All I needed was for someone to tell me whether or not I needed new oil in my car because I wasn’t sure how to read the dipstick. I don’t know if this individual was having a bad day, or if he was just overwhelmed, which I understand , but as a customer, when you feel like you’re inconveniencing somebody that doesn’t seem right to me. I hope the man that helped me is okay, because he definitely seemed overwhelmed and stressed out
I simply just visited to ask for assistance for a gentleman to help me take my oil cap off because it was stuck. He didn't respond to let me know he was going to help me, he just grabbed his coat and headed toward the door to go outside. I then followed him and told him where my car was, and he then had to go get some pliers to remove it. I thanked him for helping me and he just walked off. .... I felt like he was very rude. No standard customer service. It felt like he didn't even want to help to do only that. They lost my business for anything else I may need car related.
I had to have my battery replaced and the gentleman tested my battery, showing that it failed. He gave me a credit since I gave them my old battery, install the new one in less than 10 minutes! Awesome customer service and very knowledgeable about what they are doing!
Went in because my check engine light had just come on. Employee went right out and pulled codes to find the issue. Explained it to me clearly. Thank goodness it wasn't a major issue but I'll be going back there to buy the part I need. They are always friendly and helpful at this location.
Recycling oil today but the rude sales clerk told me I would have to carry my last container back out because they only except 12 quarts per week.
I explained that I had purchased all the oil from the store but he said he did not understand the rule but I could not recycle he last three quarts.
Went to Auto Zone they enthusiastically helped me. So now after 20 years I will be switching to Auto Zone.
As soon as I walk in the store and walked in the tools section to find a tool to change my brakes I was approached by Dylan the associate he asked if I needed help finding a tool, I said yes is this brake spreader a good tool to change my brakes he said yes, than I ask what other tools do I need to change my brakes successfully, and he said he doesn't know and I ask can you look it up for me in your computer system, he said he could not at that point I knew he was just trying to get me checked out and out the door. I feel like I wasn't helped just rushed out the door
BIG BIG Thanks to Bobby at the store. Called this morning for a part, not only did he find the RIGHT part, he offered to set it aside long enough for me to come get it.
Additionally, when I got the wrong part for something else(from another associate), he made it right, quickly and courteously.
Employees like him are what makes a customer come back, which I will be.

Thanks for the free battery test, finding the lowest price for a matching one and installing for free in less than an hour! Considering the cameras and dash computer system so info wouldn't be lost I hadn't even thought of lol. Great service 😁
Stopped in to get replacement wiper blades for 3 of our vehicles. The person who assisted me looked them up quickly, helped me get them from the rack, even checked in the back to see if there were more of a particular size I needed (unfortunately they didn't have any more), and checked me out quickly and efficiently.
I just spent my last dollar with Advance Auto. I have bought many batteries in the past and bought a new one a couple weeks ago. The store manager gave me a 10% discount after I asked. I went in today 11/7 and bought another new battery and I asked for a discount and Bobby said they have no discount. I said that is strange a couple weeks ago I came in and bought a new car battery and was given a 10% discount. I paid for the battery and made up my mind this is my last trip to Advance and will do business with Auto Zone moving forward who is just around the corner.
I was having trouble with my car yesterday and went here to have my battery checked. After checking, concluded I needed a new one. They jump started my car as I sat in it trying to figure out what to do. You see my vehicles battery is in the wheel well! NOT an easy task! All of a sudden, my car just shut off! Now, its raining. So, I ordered online through their store (awesome deal) walked in and I felt pretty defeated. I had no idea how/where to have this battery put in. The nearby places practically wanted my spleen as payment because it's a "complex installation". All of a sudden, Charles "Chuck" walked outside to my vehicle, came back in and said he could do it for me. I was incredibly grateful for him! Not only did he take care of everything for me, which was by no means a SIMPLE TASK, he did it in a sporadic heavy rainstorm. He shown what exemplary customer service truly is. Talk about going above and beyond! I cannot thank him enough. He DEFINITELY changed my day for the better. Thank you Charles Hendricks! This will be the place I turn to if I need anything they can provide.
I've never been to a parts store with less knowledgeable folks. Woman behind the counter wasn't even familiar with how to read sizing measurements on packages. The previous visit the guy had no clue what type of clamp I was looking for based on name. Finally showed him the listing from the webpage. If all you need is a battery sounds like this is the place. Anything else, look for another parts store.
The staff at this location are extremely helpful. My car broke down in the parking lot and one of the employees spent 30 minutes with me until my car was running. Also ordering online is a breeze and in store pickup is super convenient. Try my best to never go to the other “AA” place.
