I was looking for a specific trim part. Checked the website, found what I thought was the correct part. Called to verify. Was told yes that is the correct part that I in detailed asked how it was attached and where it was placed on the fender. Was reassured that it was in fact the correct part I was inquiring about. Ordered part. Was the incorrect part. Unfortunately because I had to ship it to a friend's house I am unable to return. Not mad mistakes happen. Maybe they misunderstood what I was asking, didn't actually know how the part I ordered was installed on the fender. Just disappointed i was unable to get the correct part.

Ordered doors for my 69 bronco one was fine the other was damaged customer service said send pictures of damaged on door and shipping box after that was told not enough damaged to paper box so I'm stuck with a door I can't use I'll be buying from wild horses from now on they stand behind there parts

Picked up bronco bodies. That’s in a building behind the main one. Not 100 percent sure what the process is. Do you go to the building or do you check in. Anyway you can check in and turn around in the lot then go like I did. Quick load 2 straps maybe owner will clarify to go straight to dock 1 or check in at main building. Save us 5 minutes

Pricing is ok and service is ok....BUT for a company that makes most of the aftermarket parts they are always out of stock on parts and everyone is waiting for them. 2 plus years on a front bumper for 48-52 ford truck come one ridiculous

Well to be honest I am disappointed. I ordered part Friday the 8th of August it’s now Tuesday the 12th and I have no details as to if my order has been filled or is ready to ship nothing. However the money has been collected. You need to do better than this. In this modern era shipping is monitored Door to door. I should have a way of tracking my order the minute I make it. I should be able to track that order real time every step of the way. If you are not a part of this in your business you will be left behind. You must modernize your shipping and tracking to compete. As it stands I have no idea if I will receive the parts I ordered and then have no estimate on when I can finish the project. If I was doing these repairs for a living it’s costing me time which is costing me money. Do better DC.

I ordered almost $2000 worth of parts for a 1949 F1 truck. It was a project I was doing myself. I was happy with all the parts. But as everyone knows you dont restore these things in just a few months. According to the policy they will refund or replace faulty parts within 12 months. Well I had hood bumper rubbers missing from my order . It probably costs 30 cents. When I emailed and told them about it they threw their policy at me. Instead of just saying thank you for your support. We will throw the 3 rubbers in an envelope and mail it to you. Well my next build a 1953 pick up which will require 4 times more parts I will order from LMC . Because when I emailed back to maybe get a parts number to cross refence to see if I could get the missing pieces local I did not even get a response

With memory of an older generation I sometimes forget items and once an order is placed there is nowhere on the site you can cancel and add parts. So I e mail right away and hope someone reads the email then I call first thing in the morning and they have always been very helpful.

There are quite a few places I can get restoration parts for my 1966 Ford F100 but I quickly learned my number one source is Dennis Carpenter. I found a beauty with 43K original miles that had been sitting in a garage for 20+ years. I want to return it to showroom condition plus dress it up just a little. Besides a huge inventory, Dennis Carpenter offers good prices, reasonable shipping fees and no hassle returns should you mistakenly order something you don't need. Everything I've ordered has been top quality and a faithful reproduction. I'm thankful a company like Dennis Carpenter dedicated to Ford restoration parts exists.

The website is easy to use, simple, quick and the only bug in the ointment, there were no shipping options. I would have liked to have my order expedited but there was not an option to do so.

This place is a dump. Their logistics couldn't be more archaic. While they offer flat rate shipping, notice they don't overtly tell you how long it'll take to receive your items. If you search the depths of their site, they take 1-3 days to pack your item and they will likely choose usps who is the slowest carrier with the worst tracking capabilities. You then call and get passive aggressive people who fail to recognzie how horrible their service is and act surprised when ur looking for order updates and tracking information for "shipped" items that you received an email about, with a tracking number, yet usps has no tracking information over 24 hours later. I should have learned a lesson when I bought one of their parts from another vendor and it came pitted with missing chrome and looked used. Order elsewhere. Youre welcome.

I placed an order yesterday but before I did i called them about a part that wasn't in stock. They told me they had no idea when it would be back in stock and that they wouldn't add it to my order for backorder. Told me I'd have to make an account and wait for an email. Well I got that email this morning, less than 24 hours after I placed the order. I called them about adding it to my order because it hadn't shipped yet. I was told no that I would have to pay another $15 for shipping even though my original order hadn't shipped. I hope the products are better than the service.

I was sent an email from Dennis Carpenter requesting to write a review about the "ordering process." I ordered $370 worth of items three days ago. Beside just an order confirmation, no mention of shipping or checking on the status of my order. So, one star rating for one star service. Maybe I'll get my stuff. Can't write anything about shipping, condition, or how long its going to take to receive the items I ordered since I've received NO communication other than a request to fill out a survey.

Below is my original comment after some troubling contact with Carpenters supplier I spoke a second time to a wonderful representative at Carpenters I believe Carolyn (Carolyn deserves 5 Stars) and she took care of this issue 100% I'm very happy with the end result the only reason for the 3 star review instead of higher is due to the length of the process this all took. "Original Review "In the past they were great but I recently purchased a starter and they will not allow me to return a defective part. It worked 1 time I followed there online process as they instructed me to but. My return was denied because I had installed the part well how can I know its defective if I didn't install it? The customer service is awful and this will be my last purchase I've been a customer for over 20 years."

I spoke to Chrystal via phone today, to inquire how to return an item that was sent to me in error. Perhaps it was my error or the shipping dept error. Chrystal was great she was able to work out a compromise that was very satisfactory to myself; took the misspent part back and ordered the correct part all in one transaction. If all employees are that accommodating then you can’t go wrong working with Dennis Carpenter

Great parts and good selection. So far cheaper shipping than competitors. It amazes me shipping rates wether you buy a relay or a bumper that you get same shipping rates. Not everyone buys all their parts at once for project. It is nice to still have places as this to buy parts for keeping classics running.

I love this parts store it has everything I need for my 1979 Bronco and 1978 F100. I received a Calendar from them and it’s great I put it in my Garage Door where I keep my F100. I will keep ordering parts as I need good customer service good with shipping and fair prices I would recommend this company to anyone who needs parts.

Dennis Carpenter has great products and good customer service. However I wish they would allow order changes after an online order is made. The site days it could take Teri days to get an order ready, so why can’t it be changed the same day

Just over one year ago I purchased a reproduction F150 steering wheel from Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts. Serious cracks have developed. I contacted them and they refused to stand behind the quality of the product. I was told they only covered their parts for one year. I understand having a time limit, however, clearly the wheel was cracking before it was one year old to have cracks this large. Follow-up. Someone there listened and mailed me a refund.
