Very unpersonable and the place reeked of cigarettes. I came in and said hi and they acted like I was a nuisance. Will not be returning cause I don't need to smell like an ashtray

I had read the reviews multiple times, as to how they were shorting cans on their counts and rude to they're customers. I had kept an open mind and counted our cans before returning them today and when it was all said & done, I was given $59.25 for 1,448 cans. At almost the end of the count, an old woman came over to the man counting and whispered something to him(that I now believe it was ordering him the count to short). I knew there was no since in argument because its so easily denied under these circumstances but I just smiled knowing, I will never bring a large load of cans there again. I suggest that no one else bring a large amount of cans to these people because I read many reviews that claimed they have shorted them also. NOW I KNOW ITS TRUE! BEWARE!

Showed up at 3:55 p.m. brought my bag of bottles in and the gentleman behind the counter said we're closed I know it was close to 4:00 but the door was unlocked and there were people inside still when I walked in I know people want to get out but why post a sign with your hours if you're not going to adhere to it

This establishment is extremely rude to the members of this community. I parked not in front of, but next to the store and an older woman came outside, screaming at me in front of my four-year-old telling me that if I ever park near her store again, she was going to have me towed. I do not appreciate being threatened in front of my son, and I would never recommend anyone to use this business that treats people the way that they do.

Went with a van load of bottles and cans. One of the employees then proceeded to tell us they don’t accept bottle and can drives 😧 We will be looking for other locations for our business.

Counted my cans 10 minutes before coming - 362. These guys shorted us by 76 cans - $3.80. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but when your child has been saving up - it adds up to him. I'll never come back.

They are ok at counting bottles, but the workers are not very friendly and the inside of this business is always filled with cigarette smoke. I have asthma for one, and I also don’t want to breathe secondhand smoke. I do NOT recommend this business.

This place acts like they count bottles with tuxedos on I bring in a truckload and I had a couple 2 L bottles that had a little bit of water from rinsing them out… I keep them in my garage so I don’t want ants or any other critters running around so everything I put in that bag is rinsed out the tall, dark haired lady obviously don’t want to work. She was complaining when she seen me unloading the truck. The guy that came out before I went in. Told me good luck just too bad I used to go to that place every other month never had a problem until I got this woman.

I give them five. They are clean and i have never been cheated. Ed and George are great guys. I have been going to them for years. They do have a dry sense of humor you just have to know how to go along with it. I not only take my cans i also take my work cans and they put up with alot from me and how many cans i greet them with. It is a redemption center . If people read it says on here they close at 4 and have winter and summer hours and do go by how the weather is.Why stay if there is no business because of weather. I heard bad stuff about other places around the area too. I will continue to go here as long as it is open.

I had been in the past and the service was always fast. After reading reviews about them shorting customers, I counted my cans ahead of time and was shorted $3. Not returning here again.

I always take my returns to this bottle redemption. I've never had any issues while there. I HAVE seen individuals bring in several full 30 gallon trash bags and they haven't had issues. They're there to accept bottle and can returns, nothing more.

3 stations for those busy return days. Rarely is there any significant waiting time. Plus, it's fun to watch the cans and bottles fly out of the blower tunnel into the massive cage behind the counter!

The reviews claiming that they are rude to - and purposely short pay - the customer are unfortunately true. We just returned some cans here for the first time this morning and the experience was awful. I kept track of the amount of cans as they were counting them and they shorted us a considerable amount (~$5 by my estimation), but they were so rude that I would have left with nothing just to get out of there by the end.

One of the cleanest bottle returns I've been to. They have always been friendly with me. I have returned unlimited about of bottles at a time. Meaning I've gotten 2$ and up to 7$ for what I've returned. They never limit me. I've also seen other people back in with a legit TRUCK BED FULL of bags of cans. They sell nic-nacks there too! I always go here!

Been going here for years it is a bottle and can return, not a 5 star restaurant. They take my CLEAN bottle and cans without issue. If I have non- returnable, they set them aside and ask that they be placed in garbage cans made available. Reading the reviews of some shows a lot of over expectations for a can and bottle return. They are even open Sundays which is a nice convenience.

This is the first time I've returned anything in MONTHS! My entire car was filled. I had over two carts full. As soon as I pull up and entered to grab a cart an older gentleman was behind the counter just glaring at me. --Didnt think much of it. So I continue grabbing bag after bag by myself and struggling to hold the door open while pushing a massive cart through it. Meanwhile I was the only customer at that time. FINALLY I get everything inside and the elder gentleman was mumbling to another. I didn't understand him and thought it best not to ask. Then another gentleman steps in and says to split the bags between the two counters. So as I begin splitting the bags trying to make it as even as possible between the two counters as I can, the original older man rudley says that next time not to have liquid in the bottles. At that point I was irritated because I was trying the best I could. I just looked at him and said okay. By the end the elder man barks at me telling me to throw away the non deposit bottles. I ablidge. He then turns to the register and types in numbers and turns to the other man, and that one said 332. ---He then hands me $19.60. If my math is correct 332 x .05 = 16.60. So how is it possible that by splitting them as even as possible the original gentleman only came up with $3?! There goes my gas money for the week.

Probably the worst place to go to return your cans! I could care less if he was rude, but I DO care that he didn’t give me back the right amount! He shorted me a significant amount of money! I will never go here again and I will tell everyone I know to go to Bville Redemption Center on Salina Street!!

All the reviews are accurate in that they are very rude and unpleasant, but I don't care too much. They are FAST. Only place I go for my bottles

The return center is the best around. I have no idea how it has only a 1.5 review. Returning cans and botteles is a pain, I would rather keep my nickel and throw them away, like Georgia does. I go out of my way to go here because it's fast and more or less painless, except for New York State making me do it. Compared to other places I've been to that are way too slow, this place is a 5. Had to help them raise their rating. - M -.

I have NEVER EVER HAD a problem at this place. I go there ALL the time and evertime the man rounds up to make it an even amount. Never seen them smoke in the building...ohhh and for you to say they don't speak...READ THE SIGNS...they are counting your cans so they can't be talking and talking at the same time. So sorry if they don't stand around and care on a conversation with you... but you would probably complain about that as well...

Went to take my cans back and I rinsed them before a put them in the bag ,cause it’s winter they were sitting in the snow bagged up .when I went to drop them off to get my return,he told me rudely that these cans are not cleaned.really wow what do you want me to do wash them like I wash my dishes

Okay update time. I have been going here for a few weeks now and im starting to realize that the people working don't even care about you or want anything to do with you. They kind of have the mentality of "Okay just give me your cans and bottles and get out". Also, I think they have been under counting my cans and bottles. Now it could me just feeling that way or maybe im mistakenly bringing in non redeemables. But regardless they all seem miserable as hell and don't even care about your business. I Went from giving this place a 5 star now to a 3 star.

I have never had a problem here before but the last two times I have gone in it has been the older gentleman and I'm sorry but he is a dick! He's rude, he acts annoyed that you're there, he doesn't greet you, he tried to give me $4 when it was supposed to be $14 so I went back in to tell him and he questioned me as if I was lying, he freaks out if you put "too many" on the counter at once when in reality it's not like I throw them at him, I'm not a moron, I don't overload it. And he is sooooooooo slow!!! Where has the younger kid been? He's awesome. Very polite, quick and efficient.

During several visits I have found that all of the employees, including who I believe is the manager, take smoke breaks in the back area (along with all of the employees) and when they are in the front they don't speak, but the one manager answers the phone and stops servicing me on several occasions, but I am supposed to trust him to keep his count accurate. Smoking in this facility which services the public is illegal, but don't say anything, their signs indicate (and represent) their intentions if you make waves!
