Called for an appointment for inspection and oil change and got right in. Work was done fast and at a very reasonable price. Waiting room was spacious and clean, came equipped with TV and coffee. Has a safe children's play area within the waiting room area. I will continue to be a customer. My son stopped by to see if my work was done right and he was also impressed and will be a customer too.

My friend recommended Jeff and I’m glad I went. Jeff is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, and everyone I spoke with was great too. The shop is very clean, which I really appreciate, and my appointment was quick — in and out with no hassle. It’s nice knowing there’s an honest, reliable mechanic in town.

Without a doubt, they are AMAZING!! Whenever I have an issue, they are on it. Yes a bit pricey on certain things but worth it to know it's getting fixed properly.

The place was able to balance and check my wheels and tires. 75 bucks to have it done, but it was a last .min need and they were able to accommodate.

I've been to this shop on five separate occasions now and each time I go, I have received top-tier service. From the pleasant staff, to timely repairs and having a flexible schedule, there is no other auto repair shop in CNY I would suggest over them! Definitely 10/10 in all categories!

Growing up, I had a dad who could fix a lot of things on cars, and when he couldn’t, he always took them to Hudson & Mowins - still does! Now, as an adult, I moved away from Baldwinsville and have tried a few shops more local to me and nothing compares. Just recently, I brought my car back to Hudson & Mowins for a loud noise. I was prepared to wait in their nice waiting room for a while - brought a book and some snacks. It took them maybe half an hour to let me know what the issue was and I was on my way! The next week I went back for them to fix it. The process was flawless and they did a great job. Friendly, helpful and honest. They even told me my front tires were bad. When I told them I had ordered new tires and that they were on their way, there was no pressure from them. I believe I talked with Tom (?) who was great! Definitely recommend.

Went to have brakes inspected and estimate to get replaced. I think the price included me purchasing the building!!! I decided to get another opinion somewhere else. They told me my vehicle had to be “buttoned up” and I’d be all set. They charged ½ hr for the inspection, which was fine. Not long after, I attempt to put my snow tires on myself. I get to the right front tire and 3 out of the 5 lugs were so tight it stripped the studs and had to be professionally removed!!! I was the last to take off this tire before taking it here. And I do it by hand. So I guess the policy is if you decide to not get the work done there, they proceed to waaaay over torque your lugs as a “thanks for coming “ gift!! Never again!! And I will tell everyone I know! As well as the radio show on WSYR on Saturdays.

They saved me so much money!! Toyota dealership messed up my car, claimed it wasn’t their fault, then tried to charge me $100 to get diagnosed. Hudson & Mowins figured out my problem…. just by looking at my car in the parking lot. Came out spending only $30 to put weights on my wheels that fell off. Love this staff and shop, sad that I’m moving far away and can’t go here anymore.

This place was great! Tom and Jeff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They were able to find the issue with my vehicle and get it back to its original self. The waiting area is cozy with coffee, TV, and different magazines to keep you occupied. The waiting area and bathroom were spotless. I'm definitely going to be bringing my vehicle back for any repairs, oil changes, and tires. Thank you for taking care of me!!

Dropped my car off for an alignment and one tire mounted/balanced at seven thirty in the morning and had a phone call that it was done by nine. Tire and alignment feels great even when the go pedal has no more go.

My oil change and inspection was done in a timely manner and very friendly service explaining to you any questions you may have I would highly recommend their services they provide; not to mention free coffee and you can watch TV while your waiting for your car to be serviced as well 😉 😀 😊

I was a walk-in customer and was looking for pricing to service the AC. Very nice customer service!! I think his name is Jeff. I explained my situation and he was very knowledgeable about what the problem/problems are. I was given an estimate and decided to wait, if I had the money I would fully trust them to do work on any vehicle I have! Thank you for being so helpful and giving me hope that there's still nice people out there!

The ultimate in customer service and friendliness, efficient and honest. They treat women respectfully and provided a great recommendation for minor windshield repair. They store and switch out my winter and summer tires, important because I live in an apartment with a tiny garage. The unexpected bonus? A great dog to pet, whose name I forget but whose friendly face I'll look for each time I visit.

Jeff and his staff are happy to see you when you arrive. Their work is accurate and on time. Sometimes a loaner car is available if you need to go and your car needs to stay. The garage and waiting room are clean and organized. This is not your average garage and mechanics! If you want excellent car care, take your car to Hudson & Mowins!

Our '71 Pontiac convertible was in need of a muffler. I had heard it would be 500.00 to 1,000.00 to do that, so I procrastinated because I had hoped to sell it. For me, it wasn't enjoyable for me to drive the car making so much noise. A friend recommended Hudson & Mowins and I found them to be very professional and personable and am very happy with the outcome. It was much cheaper than I had expected so I am a happy camper.

Something has definitely changed here. I took my car in to have a $30 fuel pump replaced, and two brake drums resurfaced. They charged me over $555! After 3 miles, it died in the middle of Rt. 31, a 4-lane road, in the middle of the rush hour! It took forever to re-start, as other cars were beeping and driving around me, so I turned right around and headed back. They told me to bring the car back in 2 days because they were too busy. Then, my car almost wouldn't start in their driveway, twice, and their service writer witnessed it. He totally agreed that something was wrong. Rather than wait 2 days, I carefully returned home, replaced the $4 fuel filter and fixed it myself. It only makes sense that it should be replaced along with the fuel pump. I called the shop back, and they only agreed to refund the overcharge on the fuel pump. Their own parts department sells it for $30, but they charged me $125! Why? Because they thought that I wanted the work done ASAP. I never told them that, nor did I agree to a 400% mark-up. I'm glad that they refunded that amount, but this totally screwed-up repair, cost me over $555! This was my first and last visit to this store. I've been told that Mr. Hudson retired and it never used to be like this.

These guys are expensive as HELL, but they're the only place around here I can trust, and they're always professional and polite, so they'll continue to get my business. I've had too many bad experiences with the chain shops to risk going back. So, you pay a premium for better work - service you can count on, I guess.

Honest and upfront about the work that needs to be done vs. things that should be done, but can wait. I take my car and my wife's to H&M and have never been anything less than pleased. From oil changes, to inspections, to AC repair - this is the place we trust.
