I go there alot for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have many quick to prepare food choices that can be cooked and eaten at their convenient microwave ready commissaries. They are equipped with comfortable seating, nice music, for ambiance, and people from varying walks of life for appropriate social engagement. This makes each visit, unique.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at the charcuterie department. The staff member was outright rude, slicing my salami haphazardly, as if using a blunt knife. She didn’t bother asking about my preferences and showed no courtesy whatsoever. To top it off, the prosciutto wasn’t even properly trimmed of its skin. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Let’s see the only thing I’m not rooting for at this location is the pricing for hot food and to me it’s a total ripoff system they have with this scale you place the food on . Now the mac and cheese is a 8. The soups are a 7 the sides are and 8 overall you will not go wrong as far as taste is concerned . Myb once I tired the food and it seemed tasteless but overall I ate there with cash money by accident multiple times cuz it’s no reason I should pay that much in a supermarket for food even if I was a billionaire by choice cuz now I’m saving my money . If I can change the cheap box’s and sizes for the food as well as prices would be my favorite store . Those chefs works hard . Now the supermarket always clean and busy . I would sit and eat and hope that adjustments are made cuz that was June 28 I realized this but everyone is diff I just feel the food buffet style as suggested and one day it did make me happy eating it

3rd time visiting this Whole Food for weekly supermarket runs. Ample choices, good produce selection, clean and spacious. Cashier service leaves a lot to be desired. If you need help with your groceries prepare not to get it. So, I recommend self checkout.

Popped in for an Amazon return which is next door / different entrance. Guyanese gentleman on Customer Service was very friendly and great at multi tasking (he was finishing something and helping me at the same time with a Wholefoods return). Food the correct colour of the shower pouffe needed and noticed how well stocked and the variety this store has. I never knew it existed. I happened to be walking from 7th Ave. it’s definitely worth the trip from UWS.

Very convenient location, decent whole foods setup. Better than other locations like the ones in the burbs with more room. However, customer service is a little lacking in terms of common sense. Called to ask if they have vegetable platters for groups. The customer service rep said they do but you have to order it on the whole foods app. Ok i said. "How long does it take? " i asked. Their response was they didn't know....... wait for it.... I said "Then how do I know when it's done?"..... Their response was "You have to place the order 48 hours in advance." WTH? Very funny..... that's my review.

Love that there’s a cafe grumpy at this location. The bad part is that the hot bar food is so disgusting. Did Amazon ban flavor? Curry fish just tasted like fish with orange water, they seem to have forgotten the garlic part of sautéd kale with garlic. Overall majority of the food lacks any seasoning. Only items that taste like anything is anything fried or covered in some thick sweet sauce.

This store is disgusting. As another poster stated, the number of non- service animals allowed is unacceptable. They do absolutely nothing about them either. Dogs are even being strolled around in food carts. I have contacted the health department but nothing was apparently done. Will have to contact them again. A store employee stated he had two sanitary certifications and he said there’s nothing wrong with a dog being in a shopping cart. Probably the worst Whole Foods in existence.

I have never really shopped in Whole Foods until I started to come to return my Amazon purchases. I decided to try out their croissants and then I saw they had sourdough bread. I tried both and I fell in love! I started to try their organic fruits, veggie salads, and just recently I finally bought food to go. I really liked their juicy rosemary chicken breast and their mozzarella creamy pasta. I also got my bf dark chocolate almonds and he liked them too! I honestly wish there were at least 2 Whole Foods in every borough so then customers wouldn’t have to travel to another borough! In the mean time I will just continue to shop in Manhattan.

Tried the rotisserie chicken from Whole Foods and it was really dry — barely any moisture and kind of bland. Honestly, Costco’s rotisserie chicken is way better for half the price. This one felt like it had been sitting out too long. Wouldn’t get it again

Spacious supermarket with a huge assortment of high quality products and produce

I was honestly impressed by this whole foods market! Located in one of the most upscale areas of hudson yards , the whole store feels premium and thoughtfully designed. The in-store café is really well done, and the product selection is excellent—fresh food, great variety, and some unique items you won’t find at other locations. Every time I shop here, I always end up grabbing a few desserts—they’re hard to resist! I also love that they carry special items like grain-based powders, fresh eggs, and milk that I don’t often see elsewhere. Definitely a go-to spot in the area!

This supermarket offers a selection of organic and fresh produce. Alcoholic beverages are limited to beer. The product range does not include widely recognized brands.

Nice, clean, with decent selection, standard for whole foods. One other nice aspect about this location is that I have never had to wait in check out lines for more than 2-3 minutes; in fact majority of the time I don't have to wait at all

This Whole Foods is the closest one to my work. Aesthetically it looks stunning from its glass exterior of the building. Inside is equally impressive, with all popular whole foods counters available for customers. There’s a bar and huge food court on second floor. The Amazon returns is also on second floor where I went actually. There were two associates helping one customer with her huge pile of returns while others were waiting in line. Very inconvenient. Luckily they also had kiosk for return. I used it to scan and pack my returns. Few hours later my returns were confirmed. Other than returns section, rest of the place looked wonderful to me. I’ll return to the store again soon to explore more and try some of their food for lunch.

So I have been coming here a while, and though food is good as always. I always have an issue with the seating place, I always pay so I can sit cause it's for "paying" customers only says the sign, yet the past tables that sat next to me were not paying customers. I sat next to me were five moms with kids blasting shows and kids song that NOT one of them bought anything at whole foods. They use the table is literally a playground. (Picture) The previous table only ordered McDonald's and came through even though there are three security guards and sat like nothing. Then a homeless dude is yelling and screaming next to me about Obama. Nothing is done about it, why should paying customers have to deal with these non paying customers who do nothing but distrub everyone else. I literally watched multiple people leave because of the disturbance.

It was a very good experience I found a lot of good stuff. Because it's in the city there's no parking but there's trains and buses very close by.

Clown show. Whoever says this is a good Whole Foods is lying. We just went to buy 1 large Pepporoni Pizza at 3pm ( which they are heavily advertising in the store via various signs ). We decided to try one as they are 28% off w Prime. We go to counter and order and told " yeah, I don't know how to make anything. I can't even warm up a slice" . This is thr type of poor service you'll get here. Btw, after explaining the issue to 2 managers, they still could NOT comprehend the issue of staff not being able to sell you pizza that is clearly there and they are aggressively promoting. This is the worst Whole Foods I've ever been to, especially in regards to how many people work here who can actively listen and absorb a customer's issues

The main thing that distinguished this store from others in NYC was the disgustingly dirty bathroom. The bathrooms at the Houston and Bowery Whole Foods were far cleaner and given how many homeless people use them in that area, quite astonishing. It's embarrassing for a newer store to have such a filthy bathroom - it colored my opinion of this location!

I feel this whole foods is great. Super spacious. I've never had to line up for the self service checkouts. I went in mid week. Maybe it's different at weekends. But on weekdays I love this location. So peaceful, laid back and relaxing. Huge selection of cheeses.

A great slightly upscale supermarket for basically everything you need at home, a convenient lunch spot (with buffet/ pizza/ bowls/ sandwiches), nice bakery with tons of pastry options and a great number of deals, especially if you have prime and the prime card (5% cash back). They have a very large selection of options for basically everything you would need and carry brands which most stores don't. They also have some exotic fruits, tons of imported cheeses, soaps, a great hot/cold salad bar etc. Do check for deals before you visit.

Over the last year or so, I have watched as this Whole Foods has deteriorated from a gleaming, well-stocked, and hassle-free veritable paradise of food to one where shelves are unkempt, lines are slow, and staples are sometimes hard to come by. On my last two visits, the chicken cuts I prefer to buy (thin sliced) were nowhere to be found and the shelves nearly cleaned out (see photo). Non farm-raised fish has become equally scarce, although it that case it may be related to larger issues of supply and sustainability... Produce selection of green veg has been lacking lately as well. I observed an elderly man who (like me) could not find raisins in the dried fruit aisle, only to have an employee pull some that were stashed out of sight in the the back of a shelf. Other shelves/sections were in similar disarray. I'm also one of those people who, although I love dogs, don't believe they belong in grocery stores for sanitary reasons, and dislike the store's policy of letting customers bring their huge dogs (photo) in the store. The check-out situation has also gone downhill due to the company's effort to automate check-out and (seemingly) cut staff in the process. There are now never more than 2 or 3 (often 1) employees working in the check-out area when I'm there, and the automated lines seem slow and cumbersome. The situation is even worse at the Bryant Park location, which I'll write about in a separate review. Lastly, I've experienced some problems with 365 brand products—stale bread, funky mold-like substances in jars of pickles and olives, etc. This may be an issue to take up separately, but for a brand that prides itself on healthy, well-prepared food, one can't help but wonder if the problems at the company go beyond what I'm seeing at one formerly high-end location.

This is an excellent dog park! Come and share the unforgettable excitement of grocery shopping with your pets and allow the many sights and smells to stimulate their senses. They don't bother enforcing their no pets policy here, so feel free to walk in with your dog, even if it's clearly not a trained service animal. Never mind what the NYC Health Code says – your convenience is more important than the health and safety of others!

A fancy and large Whole Foods compared to what I find on the west coast, but hey, this is Madison Avenue! I was thrilled with the cheese selection. Beer and cider offerings are great, too. They have the largest fresh salad and hot bar I have seen in a Whole Foods.

I don’t think this Whole Foods does anything to put itself a cut above the rest. For me the bar in the NYC metro area is set by the Westbury location. Sure this has a large food court, but I don’t particularly go to Whole Foods to eat. I go to shop. I wish they utilized more of the space to expand the selection. Even dedicating an aisle or area to exclusively local (similar to Philadelphia) would’ve been cool. With the amount of time this took and the hype this could’ve been a lot better. In my opinion, Manhattan West Whole Foods in Hudson Yards is a better option. Would go here in a pinch though.

This Whole Foods just opened about one month ago may 2022. It was very clean and organized. Tons of cashiers on both floors. The first floor had everything for an office lunch crowd from pre packaged food to buffet and pizza. And cafe grumpy coffee. To get to the grocery you need to take the escalator up. I thought it had a very smart and practical design.

This Whole Foods did not disappoint ! It is a must to go and browse as well as shop. The layout of the store was definitely designed thoughtfully. The store is huge. It is not just “space” each section is big and filled with more varieties of food. You have ample amount of space to walk and select your groceries and the selection is definitely a bigger one. The first floor has the cold/hot bar, prepared food section, pizza, Mediterranean, as well as grab and go foods, and deli section. Second floor consist of produce, bakery, whole body, meat, seafood and grocery, dairy and specialty (cheese and beer) sections. They have a section with lots of plants to choose from. This location did not disappoint. It also has a bar where you can drink and an eating area where you can order food. I honestly feel like this is how the Hudson yards location should of been but will definitely make the trip to this location if I have to.

So happy they finally opened ! We’ve waited for a long time and we are not disappointed ! It’s a beautiful and new store, apparently the biggest one in Manhattan ! They have many options for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner: a large salad bar, hot food, a pizzeria with delicious pizzas, a rotisserie … (see pictures ) on the first floor… and then, the second floor is the grocery shopping area with a very nice and large seating area. They have fresh pasta, chocolates, an olive bar, a lot of organic products … And we can buy in bulk, make our almond butter… I already love our new Whole Foods And There’s a Grumpy Coffee on the first floor and quick checkout ! Also the location is perfect ! One block away from the Madison Square park ! I will update with more info and photos …

Absolutely beautiful store. I’m a regular Whole Food shopper and to have this one block away from my apartment is just a dream come true. It’s huge, clean, lots of new things (self-serve pasta). I’m in love and will be coming here often!
