Has everything you need, some things are a little pricey. Great sandwiches in the deli.

Small location but very good market. Organized beautifully with a great selection. Cashiers are friendly and the pastries are delicious. Definitely recommend

I visited the Amish Market today and had an amazing experience. While I was looking at the hot and cold buffet, Ms. Ceyda approached me to see if I had any questions. I believe she is the cook or the kitchen manager, and she was absolutely outstanding. She explained everything clearly, was extremely professional, and you could tell she takes real pride in her work. The food was incredible-both the hot buffet and the cold buffet were fresh, delicious, and very well presented.
The cashier was also great, and the person working at the coffee station was equally friendly and welcoming. The whole atmosphere was warm, clean, and inviting. For the quality you get, everything is very affordable, which makes the experience even better.
Special thanks to Ceyda for keeping everything so tasty and clean. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!Nov 21, 2025 -
Step into Amish Market and experience the true essence of Amish culture with products such as mangoes, coconuts, hormone-packed beef, and De Cecco pasta, obviously gathered by the sweat of honest Amish workers. This place is a sanctuary. It’s a full cultural cleanse from modern consumerism, served by wonderfully non-Amish staff. A truly transformative, disorienting experience.

Very friendly people. And they have a lot of fresh groceries fruit and veggies. Cases of water
Good price tooOct 19, 2025 -
An absolute dream. The range and quality of products is insane. So many imported foreign goodies and treats. An extensive selection of drinks from sparkling water to energy drinks to protein shakes to kombucha. Vast baked goods sections and so much produce! It’s expensive, but it’s New York. An absolute foodies dream!!!!!

My index comparing supermarkets in NYC is comparing costs of chocolate bars of various brands. Selling ChocoLove brand bars almost 50% above Whole Foods price of similar bar in Columbus Circle area is a good indicator to avoid Amish Market shopping altogether. Chocolate quality was good, hence 2 star rating. Btw, there were no printed chocolate sticker prices in the store, you find it when paying…

First time visiting an Amish market. A bit pricy as expected. You'll see couple things here you wouldn't see at a regular supermarket like this popcorn I bought. I've never seen kernels this color. Popcorn is a whiter shade than regular. Not much of a difference in taste.

I like to take food home from their hot and cold food bar. The supermarket is located on 9th Avenue, between 49th and 50th Streets, and is on two levels. That store's street location offers a view of the tallest residential building in the world. I found that their salmon was very pleasing in taste. It seems to be available every day. When I was there they had 12 items available from the food bar that are traditionally served at home warm/hot. Pay with cash to save money. Their grocery prices are less than most of the hells kitchen area stores.

Large grocery market near times square, offering large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, packaged foods, adeli and by-the-pound warm cooked food.

Food heaven. :) This place is such a gem. From the outside, it does not look special but wait until you are inside. Such an amazing choice. Good quality, beautiful presentation, terrasse to sit outside and lovely staff. You should try their fresh juices. They are definitely worth it.

Second time here and I got the salmon and was constantly picking out bones from the fish, I couldn’t even enjoy my food. It wasn’t like this when I got the salmon yesterday. Would not come back. Not worth the price

Found this place by accident while visiting the city. Absolutely fantastic better than any other food market Ive been to. Hot food bar is great, quality food products everywhere.
Wish there was a place like this closer to home up in NH. Thanks we’ll be back!Oct 15, 2024 -
Loving the selection of jams, honey, and yogurt here especially.
.
Fresh fruits and hot-cooked meals are also great and very affordable in NYC.
.
I just love the experience of walking in here and peaceful grocery shopping, and the staff is nice as well.
.
One of the good points is they have cutlery for you and a place to sit and eat in front of the market!Sep 11, 2024 -
Really nice neighborhood grocery store with a pretty impressive selection of more-than-the-essential needs. You won’t be able to find specialty things here, as I’ve always had to go somewhere else. They are also a bit pricey, but convenience is expensive I suppose. They also have fresh food, and a nice outdoor seating area.

This is an update to a unfavorable review left a few years ago. Customer service has improved. Of course, cleanliness of the market, it's selection and prices matter, but if the customer service and employee moral is weak, it's a deal breaker.
This market is beautiful. Selection is top notch. A very cozy and warm atmosphere.
I feel more comfortable shopping here than initially. The cashier's have been polite, warm. It's my go to market for produce, most times.Jan 21, 2024 -
Unassuming storefront that reveals tons of variety in the back for every grocery item - jam, cookies, oils, etc.
Somehow so many varieties that I wonder if the inventory is actually rotated on time
Picked up some tea and others items for what I assume is NY pricing
There was a hot food deli area too
People at registers were overbearing with their herding of customers "NEXT NEXT NEXT!!!!!"Jan 01, 2024 -
This is a surprisingly large supermarket when going into the shop from the front. This market offers a lot of selections from fresh foods, pre-cooked foods, and packaged foods. There is also a good section for dessert treats. Overall, this is a good market that provides for all the needs of daily uses.

I was desperate to see something else than snacks or soda drinks ...and boom Amish Market...Loved the place. I can spend hours there. Everything you want to eat or drink is there. You can make your own salad. You can have fresh sandwiches. You can have fresh cakes. That place is heaven. The people working there are not really friendly but even that could not make a negative vibe for the place. Loved it ....

This market always sell over expiration date food and expensive. I have twice experience. Once was exploited bottle glass yoghurt $9. Second time cooked octopus over $10 becomes soured and acid. Moll is often seen in the ready food. Uhhhh

Love this place! A little on the pricey side, but very fresh & convenient. This place has a international feel to its selection & a top notch bakery.

One of my favorite places in Hell’s Kitchen. Super cozy, has a ton of great food and lots of choices for groceries

I like to wander the tight well-stocked aisles here as I always find products I have either never heard of, or not heard of in years. It's a nice alternative to chain grocery shops. Plenty of fresh farm items, European ethnic items, and a terrific bakery section make this small grocery outpost worth a visit on its own.

Love this market. Tons of fresh produce, baked goods, gluten free, vegan products.
The bakery is awesome! The service is great, and the staff are very friendly.
You will also find really tasty prepared foods. Highly recommend this market!Dec 19, 2021 -
This place is a hit or miss sometimes . I usually enjoy buying from here but once they had a cashier that tried to steal my cash from me. Was very sneaky about it. So just be careful when when giving them cash and count your change in front of them . The placement of some items don’t make sense . The employees are not the friendliest but now the positives . The store carries a lot of specialty items, and some items that you can’t find in some markets. The prices can be pricey on diary products and veggies so price compare. Sadly buffet is a hit or miss too, with less appetizing options . Has much room For improvement

Turns out the owner is Turkish but this place is full of great food options. It’s rare to find so much verity in NEW YORK and I’m glad we loaded up here. I even liked how it has a tight New York feel to it with all the many aisles. Oh and you’re looking for a way to save a little definitely come here instead of eating out.

Anytime I’m in town I try to come here. The food is always delicious from their soup to the buffet.
The cashiers aren’t always the friendliest, but the food gets you through.
I do wish they would keep some of the hot buffet items warmer.Feb 01, 2019
