This target is clean and well organized, the floor attendants could be a bit more helpful/friendly. Unfortunately they are underpaid non-union workers, hopefully they’ll get better pay soon and be happier friendlier employees.
it was a good target, but kinda small compared to the ones i’m used to. there’s not many clothes either, but there’s definitely lots of food and beauty products! the cashier was super kind and helpful too :)
This place is an incredible department store! Like many great Target stores , this one is no different - it has an endless collection of groceries , household items , electronics , clothing , and more at extremely affordable prices! Walk in and explore the vast variety inventory on display! This spot has two levels, but the bottom floor one is the main one with the checkout counters. Staff is welcoming and the self checkout kiosks are super easy to use! They even have a CVS Pharmacy inside. I wish I came here more often!
this target isn't the worst but the self checkout isn't the greatest as only some machines take cash and most tale card. regular checkout is too slow but this target isn't packed for most of the day so there isn't normally a long line during checkout. there is a large variety of items such as foods, drinks, clothing, and sports products.
I had a very disappointing experience in the electronics department. The Afro-American man working there was incredibly rude and unprofessional. His attitude was dismissive and unfriendly. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially when customers are seeking assistance. I hope management addresses this issue seriously, as it reflects poorly on the entire store.
Hello everyone. Honestly this is the best place to buy you food for breakfast and lunch in the area if you don’t mind prepping it. Everything else in the area is so expensive. Here, I could buy a dozen of eggs, cheese, turkey and bread, make a sandwich and it will still be cheaper than anywhere else. Plus, the store is well organized and clean. There is never any waiting lines to check out as well. The self check out is a breeze. Their customer service is pretty good too. They know where their items are. I asked an employee about an egg cooker and he was able to tell me where the item is located and how money they had left. That’s was pretty cool. I’ve also purchased office related products and it didn’t break the bank as well. I highly recommend this target to anyone in this area.
Price Gauging! Online salad pack is 3.99 in store they have as 4.25. As per Target policy they need to price match as per prices online and they refuse saying they have strong store policy to only match price in the store. Target is known to inflate prices by neighborhood but I’ve never had problem price matching to their online price. They really are out here openly exploiting and price gauging at this store and management refuses to adjust as per online policy. Very poor management and not good look for target.
Competition for the area. The selection is large as the lower level is several times larger then the first floor. The price are extremely reasonable and for that area I just might shop there every other day. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They officially open October 9th, but shopping has begun.

On the corner of Murray Street and Greenwich Street
They had sour cream, Scope mouthwash and isopropyl alcohol which was what I needed. Some personal care items are locked up. The Target has two floors. The second floor is street level. The grocery and pharmacy are located on the first floor. Take the escalator down if you need grocery or pharmacy. There are lots of self checkout registers which I'm happy to scan, pay and go!
Trash store. Cramped. Not laid out correctly.
Escalators to go down but npt come back up. Especially when your heavy and bulky checkouts (food, toilet paper) are downstairs. Had to walk up equivalent of two flights to leave.
A-ok Target location, located on the corner of Greenwich & Murray. the street level floor is pretty small with a mix of decor, some clothes, etc. my guess is the variety of items rotates on this floor. the below street level floor contains most of the store's items--grocery, electronics, pharmacy, etc. the store, itself, is well-maintained and organized. the grocery/pantry area is the largest and contains the widest variety of items. other sections like electronic and such are limited--always check the Target app/website to make sure they carry the items you want before heading here. the staff is pretty friendly BUT there seems to be high turnover of employees bc they are often flummoxed by simple questions about checking if something is still in stock or getting a gift receipt...kinda weird. overall, shopping is pretty decent at this location and the app simplifies finding and checking items.
It's always crowded and don't look for help you wont get it.Workers be hiding so you can't ask them for help.people who work here have Attutudes cause you ask for help . Enter at your own risk.
I've been shopping with target for many years. I had a negative experience at the Greenwich street location. I picked up a prescription with no problem and decided to purchase headphones before I left. In the electronic section, many things are locked up. So you have to wave under the sensor to get someone to come. No one was coming. Please forgive me, but I'm bringing up race here only because it is relevant to the story. I am a black woman. There were 2 other black people who decided to leave because the wait was too long. I went back and forth looking for someone to help.
A group of white people came to the electronic section and were helped shortly after worker came.
I gave the worker the benefit of the doubt because perhaps he didn't know I was there before all of them. I did leave the area for a minute looking for someone to assist us all. After they were assisted, myself and 2 white men were still waiting. The target employee turned to assist the white customer. I politely said sir, I was here first. He said "all I can see is a line". He proceeds to ignore me to help him . The other white man who was waiting said, "I'm after her". I'm grateful that he vouched for me. I told the worker i was the first on that line and the white customers there did not dispute that. He repeated all I can see is a line, even though I'm explaining I was there first. He finally assisted me and thanked me for my patience and I explained to him that yes there is a line which i was first on. I didnt want to give the impression that I was skipping. If anyone looked at the cameras, they can see i was there before the others came. I left the target in tears.
I work retail as well. I know how stressful it can be. I feel that it could have handled differently. I hate to bring up race because not everything is about that. It just gave a bad impression to go to out the way to help white customers before the only black person who was there first.
Now let me be clear. This worker isn't psychic and would have no way of knowing that I was in the electronic section first and I did leave looking for a worker. I have to be fair and mention that. I have no issue with helping the first group because he didn't know. Once I said sir I was here first, he could have assisted me before helping yet another white customer before me. I'm thankful to the white gentleman who vouched for me and said he was after me. I'm thankful to the manager who assured me that she would look into the situation. I'm leaving out names. I don't want any worker to mistreated as we all make mistakes. I just didn't shop at target to leave in tears.
For the Tribeca location, this Target is definitely convenient. However its prices are higher than a usual Target range, due to the rent they pay probably. Because the physical store is so small, the seasonal section is limited.
(PART TWO TO MY FIRST REVIEW)I was going to make a fuss and ask to speak to the manager but I took the high road and left.I chose to not make a fuss and I took the gift card.To do that to a customer is just wrong. That's not targets policy at all and you know that.What if I was a person who only had a limited amount of money and needed that extra money that you took for something else to now be used on a card? Do not shop at this location. it's not worth the inconvenience or to be treated like a second class citizen. What made you decide to put my money on a gift card and not return it to my card? What made you give off a weird vibe to me? I can understand the 5 items or less sign but even with that I had two more smaller items but you guys seemed like you wanted to embarrass me more then actually try to help me make a purchase.
The bathrooms are disgusting my daughter had to use the men’s bathroom with dad. This is the one I chose to use it was the cleanest as an adult I know how to avoid puddles on the floor and urination on the seat.
They can also do better with getting inventory out onto the floor it was no product on the floor. Every dept couldn’t just be empty.
I also said my piece about the managers hovering to watch returns not assisting and leaving once I left I’m sure he could have been helpful assisting getting inventory out.
I do not have any complaints whatsoever. It would be beneficial if the staff could enhance their friendliness to some extent. This is why I have given it a four-star rating. However, despite this aspect, the overall experience at this establishment remains commendable. That is precisely why I consistently opt for Target as my go-to choice.
Half the store is locked up. Push the help button, wait 15 minutes and nobody shows up. Look for another employee, and they can't open it because it's not their department. Eventually I got tired of looking for somebody to help me get a $10 phone cord, so I walked out.
Convenient (if small) Target down in Lower Manhattan. Naturally because of its size it's not going to have the full range of products you'd find in a full-size location, but they stock all the essentials you'll need. As a visitor to NYC I found it a lot less frenetic and uncomfortably busy than the other Target stores in Midtown. A lot of toiletries and pharmaceutical products are in locked cabinets so you have to summon a member of staff to get them out which is a pain.
Don't go on a Monday morning when they are restocking because you'll be climbing over stock carts and generally getting in the way, and it just becomes plain frustrating.
Wonderful staff, sad selection. No shoes, very small selection of clothing, no plus sizes, minimal groceries and housewares, just kind of the bare minimum of everything. My friend was leaving for Europe and came on for a quick shop and could not find any underwear. This is not all being stolen, they are not providing it to begin with. Less Legos, more underwear, people! Again, awesome staff, though!!!
