Stop by to get passport pictures taken. The guy who helped me was great. I went to pay, but the transaction wasn’t going through, so he called the manager, Sandra, and instead of helping, she was very RUDE !! I told her, even showed her, that I was charged on my card, but she said it didn’t happen and that I needed to call my bank because she can’t help me now. I started to get angry. After all, what do you mean you can help me and the money was taken off now because I’m pissed off now I’m yelling the cashier at the other end of the register had the nerve to yell out “OMG the will go back to you need to shut up and stop yelling” now I’m EVEN MORE pissed because WHY are you inserting yourself if I’m speaking with a manger already there was no need for you to even speak to me or even about what was going on between me and the MANAGER and instead of Sandra de-escalating the problem she added on by telling me that oh the transaction went through but now she's cancelling the transaction. I left Staples very upset, and people were telling me I need to calm down and stop yelling when I was charged money, and NO ONE is helping me

Full, wide range of products in very reasonable prices. Can always find what I need and sometimes good deals on things I routinely use. Friendly and helpful staff.

I came here to print material for an event and the employees at the printing station went above and beyond to ensure our materials were ready and the quality was what we wanted. They are detailed and thoughtful. I would recommend this place over and over. Be cautious that this place does get very busy so the turn around time will depend on their demand.

Today I went to a Staples store and had a terrible experience. The staff was completely unmotivated, chatting among themselves and clearly not interested in helping customers.
I asked a simple question to one of the employees and the answer I got was: “That’s your problem, I don’t care.”
If you work in customer service and treat people like this, you should seriously consider changing professions.

I needed immediate printing of blueprints. I walked in just after 7 am. Jessica, the young woman working at the printing area, was not only super pleasant but she was fast and efficient. She did a great job considering the ridiculous time line I gave her.

Marcos was extremely helpful and patient while assisting me with finding a printer. I changed my mind several times and had a lot of questions, but he remained polite, answered everything thoroughly, offered helpful suggestions, and was kind throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate Marcos’s customer service. It’s rare to find that level of care in stores these days. Thank you, Marcos, you’re the best!

Do not order online for pick up at this store. I tried to pick up to be sent to different counters and still don’t have my items. Then my part of my orders get split into different days. The store does not have more than one of the orders available so I can’t change the order. Next I called from the store. Nothing can be cancelled after a half hour and any delivery cannot be guaranteed to be cancelled. Taking money out the account within seconds. Getting anything wrong at the store you have to come up and negotiate when they get it wrong. Don’t bother at this location.

I had the best experience with Anthony from the printing department. I was having so much trouble online trying to print out menus for my thanksgiving dinner but when I came in Anthony helped me print out them exactly how I needed them. Thank you soo much! You’re the best!

Jessica in the printing department was a godsend. She helped me with all my printing requests very early in the morning. I could not have finished everything I needed if it wasn't for her help. She was very knowledgeable of how everything worked and did not hesitate to help when asked. Also, love that this Staples opens as early as 7 in the morning!

Staples on Lexington is the best place to find your paper and printing needs but also some household items, drawing materials and the employees are helpful. Also passport photos!

Great place to return old batteries, including cellphone batteries - and grab some supplies while on it. Everyone was nice and helpful. Will be back!

The store is not only disorganised, but the biggest concern is the lack of an entrance that doesn't rely on an elevator. Which is more than just illegal, but also a major safety concern. There is no discerning emergency exit and the reliance on elevator is an issue.
This store should have been either renovated significantly or closed down a long time ago.

Staples on Lex and 87th Street has a knowledgeable techie, Alice, whose help I have bought often. The sales people are helpful and available. The cashiers are super-friendly. I'm a lawyer, a litgator, so I really need a top-notch store for product and technical help.

The photo department did a good job accommodating me with my order especially their new hire. The staples workers on 86th street are the most helpful, communicative workers that made shopping so simple. Will definitely come in and purchase more from staples !

My experience at this locations has always been great. But I want to specially thank the team that was there for opening on Monday the 23rd, they are amazing with the costumer service, and they’re wonderful people. They did what was in their hands to help me find a very important belonging that I had left the day prior at the store. I’ll always be thankful to all of you guys. God bless you all

This Staples was a little confusing or complicated because some stuff is up on the second floor. It was super busy when I was in there and almost every aisle upstairs was blocked by a staffer with a cart restocking shelves. I had to wait in a couple of different lines. Still, they were all nice and helpful when I had to interrupt them to ask questions and they didn’t just point like, “Over there.” They stopped what they were doing and, without ‘attitude,’ led me to what I was looking for and even suggested various options. Rare these days!
By the way, they accept prepaid UPS returns here so you can avoid BOTH of the shockingly bad actual UPS Stores on Lexington nearby and save your sanity.May 10, 2025 -
It's a good store. I've been there many times. I can usually find whatever I am looking for. On this last occasion, I found one of the items I wanted but not the other, which was a charger for my SurfacePro laptop. So I ordered it on Amazon. No big deal.

I urgently needed to print business cards for a last-minute event. Emma from the printing service was an angel; she explained the whole process and made everything easier, even though it was already 7 pm. While I was waiting for my cards, I saw her kindly helping an elderly woman with the computer, showing great patience and dedication. And most importantly, I got my cards on time. Truly excellent service.

In a very last minute call on Friday night (when you should have been closing shop), you instead turned back on your lamination machine to help a young college student in need. Thank you!
