The store is not only disorganised, but the biggest concern is the lack of an entrance that doesn't rely on an elevator. Which is more than just illegal, but also a major safety concern. There is no discerning emergency exit and the reliance on elevator is an issue.
This store should have been either renovated significantly or closed down a long time ago.
Nevermind the managemen being genuinely rude and bad at their job, while the sales associates are kind and open to helping.
Had a somewhat complicated return plus a new purchase and it was all handled smoothly and very patiently by the associate. Quite happy with the whole transaction.
Pricing and selection are always good - and the customer service is always great. At this location, multiple team members and managers will get involved to ensure the best customer experience and value.
Staples on Lex and 87th Street has a knowledgeable techie, Alice, whose help I have bought often. The sales people are helpful and available. The cashiers are super-friendly. I'm a lawyer, a litgator, so I really need a top-notch store for product and technical help.

Love the fact that I can shred all my business papers, pick up ink for the printer, copy important items out of an old hard drive and then recycle it, order flyers for a business event and invitations to a personal event, and grab a new notebook all in the same place. Oh - and I had my TSA appointment here, too! WOW.
The photo department did a good job accommodating me with my order especially their new hire. The staples workers on 86th street are the most helpful, communicative workers that made shopping so simple. Will definitely come in and purchase more from staples !
My experience at this locations has always been great. But I want to specially thank the team that was there for opening on Monday the 23rd, they are amazing with the costumer service, and they’re wonderful people. They did what was in their hands to help me find a very important belonging that I had left the day prior at the store. I’ll always be thankful to all of you guys. God bless you all

This Staples was a little confusing or complicated because some stuff is up on the second floor. It was super busy when I was in there and almost every aisle upstairs was blocked by a staffer with a cart restocking shelves. I had to wait in a couple of different lines. Still, they were all nice and helpful when I had to interrupt them to ask questions and they didn’t just point like, “Over there.” They stopped what they were doing and, without ‘attitude,’ led me to what I was looking for and even suggested various options. Rare these days!
By the way, they accept prepaid UPS returns here so you can avoid BOTH of the shockingly bad actual UPS Stores on Lexington nearby and save your sanity.
It's a good store. I've been there many times. I can usually find whatever I am looking for. On this last occasion, I found one of the items I wanted but not the other, which was a charger for my SurfacePro laptop. So I ordered it on Amazon. No big deal.
GEORGE was AMAZING!!! He made a UPS believer out of me!!! After two bad experiences in a row at FedEx, George was able to right the ship by providing me with an EXCELLENT service experience. He’s so humble, but if his boss is reading this, give that man a raise!!! George does terrific work and represents your brand well!
I recently visited Staples and had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Yassir. He took the time to help me and thoroughly explained the scanning machine’s features. His professionalism and patience were truly impressive. I will definitely return for such excellent service.
I urgently needed to print business cards for a last-minute event. Emma from the printing service was an angel; she explained the whole process and made everything easier, even though it was already 7 pm. While I was waiting for my cards, I saw her kindly helping an elderly woman with the computer, showing great patience and dedication. And most importantly, I got my cards on time. Truly excellent service.
Ladies in the printing area 10/11/2024 were super kind and helpful. They laminated a much needed TSA card for me for free. I always get great service here.

Today, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at about 10:30 a.m. I went to your store on Lexington and 86th Street, to the toner and paper counter. I was assisted by two of the most helpful, polite and informed people I have had the chance to meet in many years at any establishment. I did not get either of their names, but I did get one Cashiers number for the person who checked me out. My compliments to you for your selection and training methods. My compliments and thanks to the two people who helped me.

Great prices! Employees were very helpful. Also I want to acknowledge Nancy who checked me out went above and beyond to help me set up the rewards app on my phone. Shes super helpful and genuinely wants to provide a great shopping experience.
The sales person at the register was superb! I asked her questions about how to access my account and previous purchases and she took the time to give me phone numbers and explanation (it was the week-end and I needed to wait to Monday to call). She also helped me find the exact number of the print cartridge I needed and ... was super professional! Very impressive.
Alan, you are our hero of the day. In a very last minute call on Friday night (when you should have been closing shop), you instead turned back on your lamination machine to help a young college student in need. Thank you!
