Ordered PS5 Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition as a birthday present. Shipping was for Sunday the day of surprise. Waited all day and shipping had been cancelled about 10-11am that day. I was not informed until after 6pm by text that shipping would be delayed up to Thursday. Totally ruined my plan for surprise. I had only found out on Saturday the day of order that's the present they wanted or would have done it sooner. Would have been nice to have given pick up option, but once its processed for delivery you can't change it. Why not, when its still sitting in the store and I should be able to go get my property since I paid for it, smh.

Typical electronics store layout. Organized. The employees were very knowledgeable and nice. The store is multistory, but even the people welcoming you at the front door knew where things are on the second floor.

I went to this location twice to buy a Samsung S25. Short story, Joshue helped to make my purchase a winning experience for me. He went above and beyond! Bonus, I love my phone!

Horrible. Can't reach anyone. Get a TEXT & enail that my computer is ready for pickup..BUT, I CANT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. JUST BS & THANK YOU FOR YOUR CALL&CALL AGAIN LATER. I come to this Best Buy quite often and the staff is always very helpful, even with difficult situations. I appreciate the customer service they provide without showing any annoyance or hostility.

Like what is it w this company? What? Who runs this place? Everybody in New York needs the stuff Best Buy sells and they are awful at it. And the Geek booking office move to India was really, really bad. Really, really bad. This 2 star rating is only because I love the old Best Buy. Please bring is back!

This store and company are a complete joke. I went in and bought an open box TV, which means it is not a brand new tv, however they guarantee that it is in working order. There are varying levels of issues with open box from missing parts, to scratches, etc. They bring out the tv within the box, and tell me the only single issue with the TV is that its missing its stand. I did not care because I was mounting it on the wall anyway. I asked 10 times, is there anything else wrong. They said no. I said can you please take it out of the box so I can just make sure, and they said, "no, I have asked too many favors of the staff today, they are going to get angry with me if I ask again". I bought the TV, brought it in an Uber all the way downtown, and hired a task rabbit to mount it. The task rabbit installs the mount, and when he goes to put the tv up, he says the power cable is missing. I immediately call Best Buy to tell them thinking they would quickly send a new power cable. The only solution they offered me was to reeturn the entire tv for a refund. So after spending $100s of dollars to move it and install it, and after Best Buy sold me a faulty item, the only solution they offered was to drive it back to the store and get a refund, and I would eat the $100s of dollars in travel and install costs. They will not budge nor provide any single other solution. This place is a complete joke, and the staff at the store is completely and utterly useless. You walk into the store and not one person comes to help. Every employee is on their phone texting and does not care at all about helping the customer.

This is my go to store for purchasing in store and for picking up online orders. They may take a while sometimes to help you but they've always have had what I came in for(laptops, earbuds, etc). Purchases and returns and pick ups have always been easy and straight forward in my times there.

Absolutely pathetic experience. Made a pick-up order and paid for it. After the delivery deadline passed, I had 5 chats with different support agents who are obviously not in the US and one 30-minute call that was just dropped, each of them inventing their own reason for the delay—from "picked up by a different customer" to "never shipped from the warehouse" to "it is already in store, go check." The order was later canceled with the reason "you requested the cancellation," with the item no longer available and no substitution offered. The suggestion? "Wait for it while it reappears in stock." Expect zero customer service when buying here. Update: Oh yes, and all the reponses in those chats were AI generated "we fully understand your concern" bs. Haven’t gone to Best Buy in years and every time I go I realize why this store is visibly getting worse and worse. 4 reps at the register handing out, dealing with 1 guest and had to go out of my way to get assistance. They do not price match at all…. target, pc Richard and son, Walmart, Costcos, staples NOWHERE because they’re having a sale and Best Buy isn’t (what I was told verbatim) never in America should I rely on STAPLES for AirPods when Best Buy is the “electronic” store. Very disappointed. Sucks but this is exactly why the store is heading in the direction it is now.

BE CAREFUL if you buy tech (like laptops, computers) in store. The guy working there that rang me up for my laptop purchase didn't bother to put or mention the 6-month anti virus protection even though it's included in the online deals on the website and app. I Went back to get the 6-month anti-virus protection and a Woman working there didn't help me with that at Geek Squad. She lied about the store policy of debit and credit cards instead as an excuse and i ended up looking for help from someone else. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this location, very shady business in there in my eyes.

Best buy is a good place but if you pay insurance for your electronics you waist your money they never repair anything all the time we want to repair something always they have an excuse. You pay insurance for 2 year for nothing. The last year we bought a computers the battery died and we went to best buy 235 st bronx and they dont wanna repair because they said "was dirty" when you clean the computer, you can come back. Omg. They are horrible also there are a costumer she had to repair the computer the girl of the front of geek squad said to the lady. <

Outstanding customer service by Marco. I went to pick up my new TV there, and was concerned with a few details. I almost left without buying but ultimately got comfortable with moving forward thanks to Marco's patience and support. I am now very happy with my new TV!

I ordered a TV waited for delivery yesterday did not come. Checked tracking and it was going to incorrect address. Changed address at store but was not changed for shipping. Called Best Buy and the stated it was cancelled and I would receive a refund due to no delivery.Today I get a text that it is being delivered to the wrong address again! On the phone with Best Buy. It is being delivered and was not cancelled!! I responded to text that it’s going to incorrect address. No response. Worst Buy. I am requesting a refund.

Horrible experience. Bought a TV. Was assured the delivery will be done before 5 pm per building rules - no delivery after 5pm. The day before scheduled delivery a text message comes in - delivery next day between 3 and 8pm. 2 hour texting and phone calls, was assured that the delivery team knows about the deadline. Next morning a new message - the delivery window shrunk until 7, despite the assurances. Another prolonged phone call, assured it will be before 5 because "they have very few deliveries today". You guessed it - no delivery happened, although I did get an obnoxious call from " delivery dispatcher" right at 5 pm asking if I am home to accept the delivery. Will never buy anything again from Best Buy. Quick update - I went instead to the PC Richard store just a few yards away and bought the same TV there for $200 less, flawless delivery next day.

All of the Best Buts that i’ve been to are trimming down the choices in many items. The staff always seems busy, not thrilled to be there - which i do understand - but that speaks to the top down effect rather than the staff. It’s ok, Best But definitely is not always the best buy. I go in sometimes.

Worst Customer Service Experience I ever had. Congratulations it is hard to be that poorly managed! Today I went to an appointment with the Geek Squad at the 86th street st in NYC. And I received the worst reception and support I have ever received in my life. The employees were sitting with no other claim and even so said I had to wait because I was 1 minute ahead of my schedule time. Then they didn't even looked at my face while talking to me in a way I couldn't even understand. Not to say that I bought a $1,600 computer that is not working after 1 month of usage and I just discovered on the spot that it was past the 15 days return period. And That's it, all the information they shared, and none I could find before booking this appointment and wasting my time I am not returning to the store or Best Buy. This is literally a class on how not to treat a client or run a business.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! This store is a JOKE. I purchased an over $1,000 vacuum from Dyson there today. When I arrived home and opened the box, I realized that not only it was the wrong vacuum inside the box but the vacuum was also damaged and dirty. I immediately went back to the store to exchange it, they made me wait over 20 mn while they were trying to locate another one, to finally refund me after having me wait for almost half an hour. The store is a mess, so dirty and disorganized. People working there have absolutely NO IDEA what they are doing.
