Answers to product repair enquiries is so utterly, painfully slow that you are so worn down, you buy a replacement just to get out. An extra star for the new guy that was trying desperately to get me those answers. Those that stood around and watched till I took my wallet out an hour later should be ashamed of themselves.

Wanted to give a special shout out to salesperson, Hazel, who got me a good trade in from an old to a newer iPad. She was cooperative, patient and helpful. I've had both good and bad service over the years at this location, but Hazel really made the visit worthwhile. I'll be back again.
I'm only posting a four-star review because this Best Buy location could be more organized and more appealing. I know a lot of these transactions are now done online, but it's good to have stores to see how these products work, especially in one's hands. Let's hope for a better 2026!Jan 24, 2026 -

Best buy has been one of my favorite stores to shop my electronics for over 16 years, but now them implementing free marketplace has got me chocked. Just knowing that anybody can now sale at best buy it crazy because this can lead to buying fakes, thinking it is the real thing. Be careful and look at the fine lines who is the vendor/seller, if not sell directly by best buy do not buy because you can be scammed. I don't know who told best buy that this was a good idea, if we go to you guys is because we want to a avoid the big market which is full of scammers. HORRIBLE MOVE BEST BUY. This will increase returns and lack of credibility which makes me question if you lost one of your longest buying costumer??? Who knows but all I know is that I will be doing less shopping for sure.
BE AWARE, PEOPLE WILL DO ANYTHING FOR MONEY EVEN COMPROMISING QUALITY AND CREDIBILITY.
WE DONT WANT CHEAP CHINESE GOODS, WE GO TO AMAZON, WALMART OR TARGET FOR ALL OF THAT BAD QUALITY CRAP. NOT YOU BEST BUY.
THE FACT THAT BIG COMPANIES ARE DOING SOMETHING TRENDING DO NOT MEAN THAT IS GOOD.
YOU GUYS LOST ME. I CANT EVEN EXPRESS HOW SAD THIS IS.
QUALITY IS OUT OF THE WINDOW.

Racist and unhelpful employees. They will openly make racial comments towards customers right in front of them. I wrote a review about what I experienced here months ago and it's been hidden. Why is that?

Well I got to the Best Buy on 6th Ave & W 23rd St to pick up an online order. Ooops I made a mistake and it was not for this location. But the lady at the pickup counter named Natalie was extremely helpful. So I needed to let the world know!

Went in here looking for a specific item. The worker there really wasn’t helpful. Asked him where the item was and he just vaguely pointed. After I found the item I asked him for the price and he gave me a vague estimate. I asked him if there was anything cheaper and he told me no. I showed him some options I saw online and he told me they didn’t have it. There was no effort to maybe redirect me to another store or offer to order the item for me to come to the store. I’m not expecting you to oversell me anything but for a place called “Best Buy” it doesn’t hurt to put in a little effort to get me to buy an item.

For a tradein, I went in person, they literally told me to wipe my laptop, told me I didn’t need to redownload Mac OS, then put my computer into startup mode and couldnt get it out. Then said sorry we actually need you to download Mac OS so you need to go someplace else (a different best buy not close by at all) where they have the capability to get the laptop out of startup mode. Horrible customer service and support.

Hazel was SO helpful! I came to the store with a question on how to use Rode equipment and Hazel was so kind and patient and showed me the equipment and how to use it. She calmed my nerves since I haven’t used this equipment before and will be filming at a work event. Thank you Hazel for your expertise and kindness!

I ordered a full price Magic Keyboard for an Ipad for pickup and they gave me an open box, without one of the apple seals. I feel so cheated by this location

They offer good prices but lie about their return policy. They failed to give me the full refund. Impossible to get anyone on the phone and they lie thru their teeth. A dishonest company be very careful.

This is my local Best Buy and I've purchased many items here over the years. However, today was the first time that I consulted with their "geek squad" and I"m so glad that I did. I worked with Natalie who is clever, smart and patient. She knew my computer-components goal and through trial and error figured out a way to make it work. She fixed my issue and I couldn't be happier. If she's there, ask for Natalie! Five gold stars!!

Everything was was strategically put in places where you can see everything if you wanted to buy it referring to the fact that if you needed any help unless your item was locked behind the glass

Ordered PS5 Ghost of Yotei Limited Edition as a birthday present. Shipping was for Sunday the day of surprise. Waited all day and shipping had been cancelled about 10-11am that day. I was not informed until after 6pm by text that shipping would be delayed up to Thursday. Totally ruined my plan for surprise. I had only found out on Saturday the day of order that's the present they wanted or would have done it sooner. Would have been nice to have given pick up option, but once its processed for delivery you can't change it. Why not, when its still sitting in the store and I should be able to go get my property since I paid for it, smh.

Typical electronics store layout. Organized. The employees were very knowledgeable and nice. The store is multistory, but even the people welcoming you at the front door knew where things are on the second floor.

And the Geek booking office move to India was really, really bad. Really, really bad. This 2 star rating is only because I love the old Best Buy. Please bring is back!

DO NOT GO THERE!!! This store is a JOKE. I purchased an over $1,000 vacuum from Dyson there today. When I arrived home and opened the box, I realized that not only it was the wrong vacuum inside the box but the vacuum was also damaged and dirty. I immediately went back to the store to exchange it, they made me wait over 20 mn while they were trying to locate another one, to finally refund me after having me wait for almost half an hour. The store is a mess, so dirty and disorganized. People working there have absolutely NO IDEA what they are doing.
