This Apple store location is a mess. When I went to get my MacBook trackpad repaired, I waited over an hour past my appointment time before someone came to talk to me. Finally, my repair was quoted at $100 and I was told it would be ready within 3-5 business days. Nearly two weeks later (and after multiple chats with Apple to try to get status updates) I got a call from the store saying that they had just started my repair that morning and would need to send it to another store for another “3-5 business days.” You won’t be shocked to learn that the quote also tripled at this point. Go to a different location in the city unless you’re looking to be without your device for a month for a simple repair.

Sales associate accepted terms and conditions without my consent (or knowledge had I not been watching). The entire time she was with me I was made to feel I was a nuisance and she was doing me a huge favor by selling me a phone.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT GO HERE. First they cancelled my apt then when I rescheduled they made me wait an hour DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, completely unhelpful.

I arrived at 12:30 no one acknowledged me as I’m Hispanic and this particular store is located in a “prestigious” area , after 20 minutes of no one acknowledging me which they were available to .. i helped myself by asking a couple people if anyone could help ? I was given a two hour wait time. I then arrived again at 2:30 in which they tell me to wait some more. When I’m finally assisted they tell me that they need two hours to fix my phone. I don’t appreciate the time I wasted here , the staff is payed to be there , I am not. To be waiting all day and not be able to receive a service is disgusting. If I was white it would’ve been a different story.

I just wanted to say thank you to the Supervisor that was working on 9/3:25 I walked in with no appointment because my phone was not letting me update fully. He didn’t have no openings, but he made an opening for me. He seen me there with my two boys children and went out his way to help me fix my phone and I just wanted to say thank you and I appreciate you For helping me all the staff at the store was nice. They let me finish setting up my phone knowing that the store was about to close and make sure that I was well taken care of before. I left the store. I would recommend the store 10 out of 10 wonderful people very clean. The staff is very helpful just all in all wonderful service.

I felt discriminated against in this store. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was unacceptable. I waited for a long time and was passed around. I wanted to trade in my phone and was planning to pay in full, but I felt like they assumed I didn’t have the funds to pay for it.

Been to apple stores all over the city and this is the one to avoid! I don't know if it's because it's because it's UES they send the worst people here to deal with the worst but be ready to be laughed at by multiple staff for asking for help. I asked to be sent to the 5th Ave store after already walking across the park to get there and then lying to the UWS store that they could make my repair. One agent said she refused to assist in rebooking me and the next literally said oh don't worry we're trying to get you out of here and had a chuckle. This is after sitting for another 20 mins to find out they couldn't make the repair they confirmed over the phone with the other location they could accommodate. 2 miles traversing the width and length of central park and 3 apple stores later 5th ave gladly assisted with the warrantied repair and I was on my way in the timing quoted. Noting I'm also a service industry professional not an UES dweller. I just need to get to work and not be jerked around please :/

I went to the Genius Bar & they were so helpful with my laptop.Then I purchased a new iPhone & we had to wait a long time for T-Mobile to answer but the sales staff were so patient & professional. I want to Thank them again!

A sleek, spacious Apple Store in a historic building—it’s a mix of modern tech and old-world architecture. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and not overly pushy. Service at the Genius Bar is efficient, and the store layout makes browsing easy. The natural light through the large windows is gorgeous.

Bought a new I pad as mine had a cracked screen. Genius Bar was great responding to all my questions and team upstairs switched all data from old I pad to new efficiently and helped me opening a new account for our company. All within 30 minutes. Pleasant experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. The store has caused more chaos for me than I can believe. I brought my phone in for a simple cracked screen repair yesterday. After leaving the phone with the technicians, I came back three hours later to pick it up. I was unable to get into my apps because suddenly, Face ID was no longer working. I asked the technician why this was the case, and, with a clueless expression , he reassured me that once I got home, the stolen device protection lock would release and I would be able to use Face ID. This did not happen, so I then spent two hours on the phone with Apple. I was told by the master technician with whom I spoke that there was an error made on the part of the technician that changed my screen, and I needed to go back to the Apple Store. So once again this morning, I went back to the store and left my phone for repairs. Two hours later I came to pick up my phone to find they had done a full reset on the phone, and I needed to go to Verizon to reactivate my phone. All of my text messages and apps will be lost. I questioned them multiple times about how this could have happened since this was NOT an issue before I dropped the phone off, and they refused to accept responsibility. Instead, they told me to “take a deep breath and calm down “ I now have to spend the rest of my day at the Verizon store and then downloading all of my apps. Given that this is also a work phone, I have now lost very important text message communications with clients. If I can give you any advice., It is to never, ever trust this store with your phone. They are incompetent and do not take responsibility when they have made a clear error.

I had a pleasant experience with the sales team but it turns out that they did not transfer over the phone number properly with Verizon, could not fix it on their end, and ended up on the phone for two hours with 3 verizon people as they worked to correct the mistake made on the ground in the apple store. will not return to this store for any needs, sadly. Am a loyal apple user and this was a very frustrating experience.

This might be the last time I buy an iPhone after the experience at this store. I had to wait 30 minutes to be actually assisted by a store clerk and kept getting passed off from one person to another. They also prioritized people who were not paying on an installment, which is some capitalist bullshit. All in all, it took more than an hour to get out of the store, which is a pretty shitty way to spend $800+. Never again.

Pleasant and cordial staff in store. However when you call the store directly during business hours no one answers; the call just rings & rings, I waited 3 minutes and gave up. I called back again several hours later, the call lasted 6 minutes & 37 seconds, which I was then disconnected.

We r on the phone to repair the Apple watch and the lady on the phone ask us to go into the store and they can help us reboot it. So we did cancel our appointment and come over, the first thing the lady come over told us it will cost $299 to repair it. Why they told us over the phone before asking us go to the store. The lady at the store even check they can reboot or not. What a service Apple. No customer service at all!!

Employee are quick to send you to the next person each person there’s a wait of at least 15 minutes I had to go through 2 people. Just to still get no answer. I think that is ridiculous. All employees should know how much it cost to fix a simple charger on a iPhone. I waited 30 mins pretty much to be told “Oh our tech would be able to answer that but There’s a few people in front of you. Apple customer pay Apple ridiculous amount of money to have to wait that long for a simple answer. Come on.

I was sent to replace my Beats headphones bought 4 months ago. Upon arrival, the lady canceled my appointment due to my 3-minute lateness. Despite having Apple Care and the same headphones, they insisted on sending them off and giving me back the same pair. When I explained the sales rep’s advice to switch and read the notes, they became rude, incompetent, and arrogant. I felt gaslit and left the store. I will never return.

Waited over 2 hours restoring the phone updating setting up as new! The issue still exists, then have to wait again for someone to become available to assist us and all employees assisting new walking. They wouldn’t replace the device after all software tests results was no issues, the camera was still freezing and they offer repairing the camera and wait another 2 Hours the phone was still under warranty, I left the store and called apple support and they offer me a new device shipping to my address. Since 2007 I’ve been an iPhone user now 2025 this will be an End for me.

We’re waiting to purchase iPhone cases like 10-15 mins by no one assist us. It makes us felt like we’re begging to have a product but we pay to them! and I also picked up my new iPhone 16 without giving a bag to carry on. Never mind, i asked for it after. The point is i think they need to improve service mind plus customer services skills. Don’t wait for a customer requests. Use your senses and service before asking.

I arrived on time, about 25 minutes before my scheduled appointment to be advised for a product. I checked in and was even given hope that I might just need to wait for 15 minutes. However, 10 minutes after my official appointment time, with no indication that I would be called anytime soon, I finally decided to leave. Unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience.

We went to the store to pick up our reserved MacBook and asked to check the battery health. The young staff were very unprofessional; one young male customer service just chatted with a girl while another girl forcefully updated my iPhone despite me saying I didn't want to. I ended up wasting an hour in the store without getting the check I wanted. Thankfully, an older male customer service representative finally helped me. Won't be coming back to this branch again; the service was basically terrible.

Every Apple Store is unique, but this one on the upper east side is specially fantastic. You have to visit it even if it’s just to see what it looks like. The outside of the structure where Apple is located, looks great and I have included a few pictures of what’s around that building across the street and around that place. Of course we all flock to Apple as soon as they have a new product that we like and yes I do have succumbed to buying myself Apple products and my son as well. I would definitely recommend this Apple location but would recommend most any Apple location because every one I have visited has been a surprise.

I had a problem with my AirPod ( my voice doesn’t go through the other side) and it was my first time problem with Apple. When I went to Apple, they suggested me to clean the buttom and gave me an appointment in case . I went back two days later at my appointment time and “Christina” took my AirPod to test it and helped me a lot. Then she understood that it’s not my fault and gave me a new one. She was sooo kind and really helpful. If you read this comment, thank you again for your hard work, appreciate it

Stunning location. Social distancing was kept carefully so it took a little while (about 40 min wait and 20 min appt) but it was worth it since it all felt safe and organized. I also noticed surfaces and phones were wiped down between customers. I traded in some old devices and got a gift card for the value. I found the staff to be helpful and professional. Overall great experience. Book a reservation ahead of time (although you can also wait in the walk-in line). Would recommend.
