Don’t come here. First he tells you he needs a diagnostic of your car to see what the problem is and then he doesn’t know what the problem is and STILL charges you $150 plus $13 in taxes totaling $163. It’s pointless so it’s basically a scam. Don’t waste your time and money.
Untrustworthy mechanic here. They purposely broke a piece of equipment in my vehicled and made me pay for it. They charged us $400 for this repair that we did not create, but they did. Very untrustworthy! Severely unhappy with this situation. Lying and cheating scammers. They should be prosecuted for fraud.
Came in this morning without an appointment with my Mercedes which needed a new battery. Within 2 hours, Fritz was able to diagnose and provide me with information as to how much it would cost. I appreciated his willingness to squeeze me in despite not having an appointment, and my car is running back to normal. Highly recommend this shop for all your euro car needs, will be back for sure!
I was referred to this place and thought of trying it out. Brought my VW GTI which had an issue with the A/C compressor. I left it early in the morning yesterday and by 9:30am they had called me with the full diagnosis and quote. They fixed my car and called me by the afternoon. I picked up the car this morning and the issue is gone. Car drives and sounds as good as it did before the problem began. Would def recommend this place and will be coming back when needed.
Cannot recommend this team enough. I brought my German car here after getting a scam of an estimate from the dealership. I have been back to Eurotech multiple times since then because they don’t only deliver impeccable service, but are also upfront and transparent about their fair prices and labor.

I have to say that i am grateful that a co-worker told me about EUROTECH. A problem that i was dealing with on my 2008 Honda Accord check engine light has been finally solved. Thanks to these guys. I will highly recommend them. They are pleasant and very nice and easy to work with. Also they will not have your car for a long time like other mechanics and will explain everything to you in detail about what they are doing and what is going on with your car. whether you know about cars or not they are going to explain it to you pricing and all. They take the time to actually explain the problem to you and you can tell they really know European cars. Their service is excellent! They were able to fix something that other shops wanted to completely replace, or couldn't fix. Wish I found them sooner. I will not be taking my car anywhere else.
I’ve been going to Eurotech for over 15 years now for all my car repairs and used car purchases! These mechanics are the reason to trust a mechanic. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
This mechanic is the reason people don't believe mechanics.
I brought my car to him in the summer because my window did not go all the way up; Nissan told me it was the motor that was broken. I told him this but I asked that he check because it was a good idea for him to do a double check of what was wrong, right? The water pump was also broken or something happened to it because it stopped working months earlier. So I asked him to check that out too.
When he calls me to tell me the estimate, he tells me about $750 for everything, which was steep but I was working an extra job this summer for this very reason; to cover my car expenses and finish paying off my car, which I did!
After about a week or maybe two, the window again would no go back up. Needless to say I was very angry because I had already paid for it to be fixed and now I had to bring it in again. I hoped, however, that since he had already worked on the window and he needed to guarantee his job, he wouldn't charge extra for anything he needed to do because it was his job to correct any mistakes or oversights he had made. Wrong. This time, I also found that my AC would not turn off so I asked him to fix that.
He charged me an additional $150-180 because this time he said it was something else related to the window and because I had first told him it was the motor, that's what he fixed. He told me someone had spliced the wire but now it was fixed for a small fee of $150-180. I didn't protest because I just wanted the car fixed. All in all, I ended up paying about $480 the second time I brought my car.
Now it is about a month later and when I turn on my AC it makes a rattling noise and it won't go away. I call him first and he tells me to bring it in. I do, he listens to the rattling, and he said he will "take a look". But he insists that maybe something fell into the vent and that is what is making the noise. I only use my car to go to work and I have a 20 minute commute. I am the only one that drives my car, so I would know if something fell in. I tell him this and she reassures me he will "take a look". He also adds, "The sound is the fan working". To which I respond, "That can't be because it has never ever made that sound once, since I bought my car". Again he says, "Ok, we will take a look".
He calls me later in the day and says, "It's fine, we turned the AC on and it didn't make any noise, I can't do more than because it involves a lot of work and time". So why did he keep my car? I had to pay for a cab to get to work that morning AND to return to pick up my car in the afternoon for nothing.
When I get back to the shop in the afternoon, he gives me the same speech, "Something must have fallen in". I told him that if I heard the noise again I would bring it back.
I got in my car this morning turned on the heater and there was that dreadful noise again. Now I'm highly upset because there is no way I am brining my car back to this DISHONEST mechanic so now I have to find an actual reliable mechanic which is clearly hard to do, and I have to spend more money trying to figure out what the issue is.
As a teacher, it took me sometime to pay off my car, which I did WITH MY SECOND JOB that I also used to pay for the repairs on my car that his mechanic charged me TWICE for.

I came to Eurotech, looking for an auto shop that services german cars in Queens to save on required maintenance from the dealer. I chose it simply based on reviews such as this one with no referrals.
I was in and out of the shop in no time having spoken to the manager in am as I dropped off my car and picked it back up in early pm. Fritz had a very professional no BS attitude and clarity without seeming curt or impatient. Thanks! Great shop.

I was referred to Eurotech by a friend when I needed a good garage in the NYC area specializing in European cars. They looked at a car I had found on Craig's List and was looking to buy: within 15 minutes they determined it had been in a major wreck and put back together with serious heat and pressure that made the frame unreliable. They saved me from buying a sure lemon. Then I asked if they could find me that make and model car, since I knew they routinely bought cars at auction for resale. Within a few weeks they had, and I bought it. But then in driving back upstate, where I live, I noticed that particularly rough roads made the suspension seem broken, leading to an unduly rough ride. I took it to a local authorized dealer for that make of car, who painted a dire picture indeed: the rear springs were broken, the front suspension shot and the left front brake pad down to almost nothing - all of which would have cost several thousand dollars to fix.
So I called Eurotech. They said no way could that be the case but to bring it in and they would fix anything that needed fixing. I did, and they showed me, in a way that I could see with my own eyes was correct, that the dealer's dire diagnosis was patently wrong. And when they took a ride with me on a rough road, to reproduce what I had felt, they diagnosed it as worn stabilizer bars, which were peculiar to this car - something the dealer had not even mentioned. They showed me, too, with a ruler, that the brake pad was more than adequate.
So they made some adjustments and put in new stabilizer bars, after which the car handled rough roads just fine, and so my problem was completely resolved, at no cost to me.
That is, Eurotech stood solidly behind their work (even where not required by the NYS standard warranty they had given me) whereas the authorized dealer, in contrast, had tried to cheat me! My conclusion? The Eurotech owners are exceptional in their competency, their expertise and their honesty. Those all-too-scarce characteristics are rare in today's world, and I value them highly. I had a Mercedes r350 blue tech with major problem these guys are the best there is and when I say the best there is I mean better than the dealer I really recommend these guys
