Do not waist your time and money on this place no recommend at all I took my car for oil change one I leave the place. Next day I turn on. Started shaking bad and few days later motor star overheating. I. Call them but honestly this is the way they do things. So you can back over and over. Just find better place. I’m telling you from my own experience. Do no waist you money and time this shady place

Facility is neat and clean. Everyone was warm and friendly. I didn't have to wait long for services to be completely. Mechanics seems to be well trained and experienced.

I got 2 new tires and an alignment done...problem is they never did an alignment! My tires went bald after 5 weeks I got stuck driving in the rain on completely slick tires and they won't give me a refund! They sell you work they won't do'

I brought my car in because I was having to refill my brand new tire much more often than normal. After keeping my car overnight, without ever informing me that would be the case, they called to say there was a crack in the rim. They told me I could leave the car overnight and they would order the part the following day or i could pick it up. At no point did they make it seem like this was a serious issue or that the damage was severe. Since I had work the next day, I decided to pick up my car and bring it back later. However, as soon as I drove off the lot, my car started shaking violently. I immediately turned around, and before I could even make it back, my tire popped. When I returned, the front-desk employee and Jess the assistant manager were extremely rude and even yelled at me. I was never told it wasn’t safe to drive my car, or advised not to drive, and I ended up picking my car up in worse condition than when I brought it in. This business takes no accountability for its mistakes and acts as if they can do no wrong. I’ll be taking my car to an independent mechanic from now on.

I have brought my car to Pep Boys, Maple Shade, for tire installation , rotation, and additional services. The advisors are friendly and knowledgeable. I have always been well treated. I highly recommend Pep Boys Maple Shade.

The worst experience I've ever had at a Pep Boys. My first time at this one. First I was given the wrong information about my appointment. Second, the manager Brianna attitude was terrible. Brianna didn't want to try to fix my appointment problem. Brianna's excuse was someone else other than herself made the appointment, so she wasn't dealing with it. Third, my truck was taken to the back, and wasn't looked at. Brianna (manager) came back to the front and said that I needed a new tire without even inspecting it. After I let her know that no one looked at the tire, Brianna asked a tech to inspect the tire, and I was able to get it plugged temporarily. I'm not from the area, and just wanted to make it back home to my mechanic. Brianna was so accommodating to everyone else that came into PepBoys. I will never visit this place again. Also, I left Mavis tires to come to PepBoys because the person I spoke with on the phone said it was cheaper. Never again. I truly believe that Brianna needs to be retrained, or not at your front desk.

3 hours for an oil change. With NO ONE. Working in the back of the shop. I used to come here all the time. Never again. They claim I was dropping my car off. I told them I was doing it now. And they were confused why I was sitting in the waiting room. Umm you have my car. I would have taken my keys and left but then I would have wasted my day off for nothing

every time i go something new breaks a week later. first my ac radiator had a hole then my transmission stopped shifting then my alignment was out then my battery that i got installed a year before suddenly died and left me stranded. my camaro is in great shape too. not sure if this is their business model but certainly not one i’ll keep doing business with

Please beware of this sham of a “mechanic.” This location is constantly changing management and technicians because they clearly have no idea how to run a business or take care of customers. Everyone in America knows to avoid Pep Boys unless it’s for something basic like a tire or oil change. So why I decided to come here for exhaust work is beyond me—a mistake completely on my part. I was looking for convenience, and clearly, my judgment was clouded. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday for a diagnosis and exhaust repair. The older white lady at the front desk—cockeyed, rude, and dismissive—told me I needed an entirely new exhaust system. As someone unfamiliar with cars, I had plenty of questions—especially after being hit with a $1,200 bill. Instead of explaining anything, she acted like I was a burden, rushed me off, and told me to go wait for my ride. I Ubered home under the impression my car would be ready Wednesday, as promised. The moment I got home, I got a call saying the car wouldn’t be worked on until Thursday. They offered for me to come pick it up since it was still drivable, but after already spending money on an Uber, I just let it go. Come Thursday morning, I called to confirm the car would be ready. After all, people have jobs and lives to manage. Surprise—they still hadn’t received the part. That same rude blonde lady said she’d call me back with an update. Of course, it wasn’t ready. When I came to retrieve my car, she had the nerve to ask me for $40 for the diagnostic before giving me my keys. Are you serious? After wasting two days of my time, now you want me to pay for a job you never even started? I told her I was planning to return once the part came in—but not anymore. Apparently annoyed, she told another associate to just give me my key because she wasn’t going to argue with someone over $40. Newsflash: you were never getting that $40 in advance—not when your team failed to do any actual work due to your own incompetence. So if you think Pep Boys is the “easy” option, just know they’ll waste your time, take your money, and still leave your car unfixed. That front desk associate should be fired—if she cost the business $1,200 from me, imagine how many other customers she’s run off.

I am so thrilled with the service that I received at this Pep Boys location. I brought my car in to have a tire plugged and they were clearly very busy. The gentleman at the desk let me know that they wouldn’t be able to get to my car until the following day, so I left my car. I was delightfully surprised to get a call a few hours later (same day) that my car was ready to be picked up. The service was high quality, honest, quick, and incredibly friendly. I will absolutely be returning for my future vehicle needs.

So I had a nail in my tire and I went to Jiffy Lube. They told me they don’t plug tires anymore. He told me to go to Mavis across the street, but they didn’t have Michelin tires. I then called Pep Boys in Maple Shade and Miguel answered. He was amazing! He calmly told me he had the Michelin tires I needed in stock and said I could come right over. Miguel Cartagena greeted me and welcomed me in and said be would take care of me. He said it could take awhile for Element Fleet to approve it, but it was approved quickly! Miguel was also working by himself because his partner was on a break. Miguel had me in and out in 30 minutes to replace 2 tires! I couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service I received at Pep Boys in Maple Shade and I would refer anyone to go there if they need new tires!!!! Best Regards, Joe

I’ve alway received tremendous service through the Maple Shade location. They staff here is really attentive to needs and always work to meet customers needs. More specifically Edwin did an outstanding job on my tires and made excellent recommendations for future service. I also left my wallet at the location and he called me immediately to make sure it was in a secure safe place for pick up. Great Job Edwin.

I walked in off the street for just some prices. Alfred the Assistant Manager immediately helped me find the perfect tire for my 2020 Ram. I was able to get all 4 Michelin tires that day. William did all the installation and inspections. I would recommend to all family and friends.
