I cannot say enough good things about McCoy Towing or their people. My daughter's car broke down right next to a McCoy Tow truck and the driver, Troy Dillinger, without hesitation put her vehicle on his truck and took her car to the dealership. Professional and friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
Great tow service. Came really quick and Troy helped me and had me safe and my car towed home really quick. I highly recommend this tow service. And the price was very reasonable.
Apparently, most tow places near the KC Metro area take July 5th AM off (without marking holiday hours, of course), and the remainder see fit to both charge high and can't do any better than 45 minutes+ out despite being 10-15min away.
These guys were not only open when I called around 7am, the driver also got to me in about 30 minutes, stuck my van safely up on a flatbed, *and* charged a reasonable price.
Topping it all off, aforementioned driver was a nice guy, easy to deal with, and he got the van loaded/unloaded quickly and efficiently.
Just an overall pleasant experience, as far as getting a tow goes. I hope I never need another...but I know who I'll check with first if I do.

My car stopped on me so I googled towing companies and they came up & I gave them a call. He was SUPER nice, & after figuring out where I was, told me he’d be there 15min he was there in 10!!!! Got me where I needed. 10/10
I don't have enough good things to say. My wife and I were in a bit of a pickle. We desperately needed our shed moved due to it being ontop of our sewage main line which is in need of repair. We tried about 20 different Shed companies and towing services in the area as well as rental companies to try and find a forklift to move it. Everyone who came out to quote gave me outrageous prices and all concluded the shed would need to be demolished because it would simply break if they moved it. My plumber finally agreed to move it, but couldn't promise they would do it right or not break it as they have never moved a shed.
Enter McCoy, came out to quote and was very friendly. Told me he had moved ones like this before many times and was more than happy to do the job, told me what I would need to buy to level it out in it's new location and was even kind enough to come this weekend to get the job done before my big plumbing project on Monday. He knew what he was doing! In just less than two hours in the summer heat, he and his wife were able to relocate our shed with limited damage to the trim on the outside (which he warned us would happen). Aside from one of the floor boards popping up in the center (something my hammer repaired in seconds), my shed has been relocated and works just as well as it did before.
To top it off, his asking price was substantially lower than anyone else quoted. I had a shed company quote me 3 times what he asked and that was just to get their shed moving lift off the truck.
I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could, would absolutely recommend. Friendly, affordable, knowledgeable, couldn't possibly ask for more.

Ed McCoy did an amazing job of pulling our BMW out of our small Brookside garage and through our curving driveway! He had so much patience and it took a considerable amount of trial and error to get it out unscathed. I will recommend McCoy towing to all of my friends and clients. Thanks Ed!
They are rip offs... They towed my son's car to their lot even though I told them that I had someone coming to pick it up. And they wouldn't give it back until we paid them almost $200. These people are money grubbing pigs.
I was stranded with a horse trailer full of horses. Ed was there within 30 minutes. He even ended up going to get my sons truck that was stranded as well. Great service!!
I run an automotive repair shop and we use McCoy towing all the time! Their prices are very reasonable and they always get my vehicles picked up in a timely fashion. McCoy Brothers is reliable, quick and a worry free tow service. My family has used them for over 25 years. Can’t say enough great things about this Raytown, family owned company. If ever I need a tow, they are the ones I call.
