The store manager was beyond helpful. And. For it being Valentine's Day and my wife to be stressing she was more help than I could of asked for this woman deserves a raise or a bonus. She was very kind, very helpful and was more than willing to jump in to change the battery. Which was not asked for or expected from her on our end. But to be ready to go like that speaks about her character. She took her time while I figured out how to get the battery out of a 2020 escape, and held the light for me as I worked. Giving my wife the time to just sit back and let me work. And again on Valentine's Day of all, for a woman says a lot. Advanced Auto please do not just give Lindsey, your store manager on 350 highway in raytown prase. Give this woman more money, somehow someway. She is what customer service is all about. To the store manager: THANK YOU AGAIN! I HOPE YOU ARE BLESSED IN LIFE

10/10 staff Caiden and the other young man were so helpful. With us being stuck 2 hours away from home with a bad spark plug and ignition coil they were super polite, concise and overall very friendly and accommodating to us out of towners

Bought a battery for my car from their system recommendation. It seemed smaller than the previous one, but I figured they should know. It never quite worked everything then started losing charge overnight. The battery of course is no longer under warranty- Took it to the store and they said the battery and alternator were good. I ended up taking it to a mechanic which did a test and found out it was the wrong size. I called the store to see if they would give me a discount on the correct one. They said they would not. I have the receipt from purchase and the test receipt. Considering I spent almost $200 on the wrong battery, I think the very least they could do is discount the correct battery.

Had a dead battery that I called roadside assistance to restart and then drove to AutoZone thinking that I might need a new battery but the gentleman came out and cleaned off the terminals and checked the battery and then gave me another jump start and said everything should be good. No charge for this and a very pleasant experience. It's just so nice to know that there are places where you can do business and they really do take care of you. If I need anything for my automobile I will be going to AutoZone.

I stopped by to buy a battery and have it put in my car. The guy behind the desk tells me that he's pretty new and he doesn't know how to do anything like that but a tech that does would be in at 6:00. I explained that since it was only 5 I wasn't really sure what I should do, because I was pretty sure that once I turned my car off my car wasn't going to start again. So he said he could test my battery if I wanted. He hooks it up and it was reading at something like 11. So I got in and tried to start my car back up. Nope it was dead! So now I am stuck waiting for the other tech to come in. In the mean time, another person starts asking me what's going on. So I explained that I'm waiting for an hour for the tech to come in to install a battery in my car and she says yeah we can't install batteries in your car. Points out that their system says expert installation or something like that. AKA your SOL, but if you wait we can get some jumper cables and try to jump your car. To which I said, "don't worry about it." Moral of the story is don't waste your time. Walmart is about $125 cheaper and they install.

Terrible Customer Service at AutoZone (350 Highway Location) I had the worst experience at the AutoZone on 350 Highway. I waited for about 10-12 minutes, standing right in front of the counter, and not once did the manager acknowledge me. She walked right past me from the back and didn’t even look my way. I had to ask for help, and thankfully, a delivery guy Ben noticed me and came to assist. He was polite and apologized, saying he thought I was already being helped. It's really disappointing to experience such poor service. I will never return to this location again and would advise anyone to avoid it as well. Terrible customer service overall.

Ask for Tom - most helpful, I asked for wrong radiator hose and the right one was 2x the price..he found the least cost on the right one -and- my gas cap idiot light was a torment till he gave me a heads up on the seal, which I flipped over, that side was like new. There to help not just make a buck. My new go to for parts. Worth the trip..guaranteed !!

My friend and I have been treated not so good at a lot of parts stores, like girls shouldn't be working on cars. Kyrie did the exact opposite, he was more helpful than anyone at any retail store I have walked into in a long time. Then the parts manager, Brandon, came up making sure we had the right part. These guys are amazing and other parts stores should take a lesson from them.

I had to check my old battery, unfortunately I needed to purchase a new one…. The CSR was very friendly and helpful. After my purchase, I towed my car back to the store and . Thomas W , the manager, went over and beyond to see to it that my battery was installed correctly, and checked the starter because my car was still not starting. And he did it all with a great attitude , in a polo shirt during steady rainfall on Christmas Eve. Thank you Thomas! Merry Christmas

These guys provided great service, and I really appreciate them changing out my battery for me. Thomas is knowledgeable, friendly, provided great service, and is a model employee and deserves to be rewarded. I originally bought the battery from the AutoZone over by zona Rosa, and of course I threw my receipt away. The battery went bad, and my car would barely start. So I limped over to this AutoZone. Thomas was at the service desk. After explaining my situation, the only question that he asked for was my phone number. He pulled up the receipt, and gave me a replacement. The whole thing took about 6 minutes. I Will 100% come back to this AutoZone for help if I need anything for my car. Thank you!

My engine light came on, and my car was making strange sounds. I pulled into Auto Zone and didn't have to wait long for them to do a diagnostic test. Had my answer in less than 5 minutes. Thanks, at least I was able to find out what was wrong and take to the dealership already knowing.

I was just in auto zone this morning, august 19th at 9:30am waiting in line to be assisted. When it was my turn, I requested someone come out to my car and determine what the code is on my car that just popped up. A 6 foot tall lady with short hair handed me the tool they use to read the codes and says “Here you can do it yourself we’re busy.” And I said to her that I didn’t know how to plug it in properly and requested she or another person come and help me. She said “ I can’t leave the counter. You can either do it yourself or wait longer.” And I had already been waiting 15 minutes to get to my turn. And there were 4 other workers in the store who could man the counter. So, I went across the street to O’Reilly and they were happy to read the code with a smile and I even made sure to make a $50 purchase while I was there to support O’Reilly. Do better Auto Zone because Customer Service is NOT your strength.

The man that worked in the store was so rude to me the first time because I had my Bonnet on my head he didn't want to help me. So this last visit I got all dolled up hair done makeup on the same man was so nice he break his neck trying to help me

Terry from the Raytown Auto Zone was extremely helpful today. You could tell he was busy but went above and beyond to help me with the transaction issues I was having. Also, he installed my battery and it was way more difficult than expected. 5 stars

The store manager TERRY is extremely rude, unprofessional, and gives out falsified information for some unknown reason. Was told in order to be a CASHIER that a Class E License was in order to be obtained. To which I was astounded by, as there would be no deliveries to make for a CASHIERS position. I called a their corporate number, as I was told by Terry, all his higher ups are making him to do this, and asked why a cashier would need to be Taxi/Delivery certified. Their reply? “If you’re not making any deliveries and only working in store we do NOT require a class e license.” Made a call back to let TERRY know he’s a liar and that’s not a requirement. And just to add - 2 days prior one of their managers, wouldn’t give me name, called and said they were interested in hiring. Upon calling back, this was the awful interaction I had with said “store manager”. I would NEVER do business here nor try for employment. Go to any other location, because they’ll give you ACCURATE information and won’t be such an unprofessional face of their company! Never got an answer as to why he was such a liar, either way this needed to be shared.

I’m glad morning crew shows up for work on time. I ask the lady walking in with another coworker or spouse, if I could just grab a couple pairs of gloves that I need for work as she locks the door past 7:30 am and tells me we’re not open yet. Hrs are 7:30 am to 9 pm. And to top it off guy she walked in with walks out with product. Will never return to this location!!

Was not a fan of the customer service reps. You could tell they were not wanting to work a bunch. Placed an order and they did not look at the order correctly and gave me the wrong items. The manager did try but in the end was not able to correct it so he cancelled it but I give him props at least for trying. Its just a disappointment because I drove 30 minutes for a badly assembled order.

Wednesday afternoon purchased a battery for my car, the sales clerk young lady was very friendly & helpful. Changed my old battery out to the new one. Also told me that I need a new battery tube, one was very old & rusting. Thank you for her helpful advice.

I stopped in because my check engine light came on. So one of the gentleman took a scanner and pulled the fault code from my truck. He entered the code in his computer and gave me a printout of the likely cause and solution. After talking a few minutes the employee walked me back to truck and showed me where the part is and how to fix it myself, if I went that route. I was very impressed and happy overall. I always use Auto Zone anytime my check engine light comes on. They have given me invaluable knowledge to take with me to my repair shop. And the last few years I've used them 4 times, and they were right about the diagnostic every time.

They are usually very helpful to me. The store only had one other person in at the counter yet two Assistance Associates. One Gentleman asked what he could help me with, I told him he then directed me where to go. Everything ok but Other Associates would check on me after too long a time since I was only needing one item. I was having trouble with choosing the right one. Never helped me. I just grabbed one and went to check out. In the meantime he had took over for the other Associate and his customer. The first Associate made a comment about why did he do that? I couldn't hear all that was said but he didn't like that he had lost that customer to him. So this guy jumps in and took care of me then and I checked out and left.
