Shivers towing just put my spare on within 30 minutes of my call and in the rain! I literally cannot say enough to thank them for their immediate response and great work. I hope I never have to use their services again but if I get a flat in Oxford I’ll surely call them!!

Complete RIPOFF!!! Charged me $2110 to tow my truck approximately 45 miles round trip. That’s them leaving their shop coming to me, dropping my truck off, and going back to their shop!

My truck decided it was a fine time to leave me hanging on the side of the road, so I did a quick search and found Shiver's towing. He got there and had me hooked up to his tow truck in under 10 minutes. Very professional, punctual, friendly, and most importantly VERY reasonably priced. Amazing! Traveling on our way back from Florida to Arkansas our transmission went out. We were able to get home, but had to leave the suburban in Mississippi. Called another company who weren't able to help us with it being across state lines, but were recommended Shivers. Out of three other companies, they were by far the best price, nearly $400 cheaper than the lowest quote. Fast, friendly, skilled and at a great price. What's not to love
Without getting into details Shivers literally came to our rescue in more than one way! We can not thank them enough for their quick response, kindness, price, quality of service ect... I can only hope that we won't need their services again but if we do Shivers has our business.
The lady at the desk was disrespectful did not let me get my belongings out of the vehicle. And now they told me it would be a lot of money to get it out so now I basically have to sell them my car for free very unfriendly disrespectful would not recommend

Shivers was easy to work with a very reasonable to tow a classic truck from Hernando back to oxford. The driver was cool and friendly and showed up early! Great, easy experience.
I blew a tire and was stranded running late to pick up my disabled and in a wheelchair husband from physical therapy. I am a 67-year-old woman and was totally helpless. Garner from Shivers came out immediately thinking we would be towing the car to Belk to replace the tire but I needed my van and the space in the back for his scooter. Garner put on my spare, which was not conveniently placed literally under the car. He even offered to drop the flat tire off at Ford service for me so I could go and pick up my husband.
The service I got was immediate, the care professional and I would not have been treated better even if I were family. I even offered Garner what he could see was a very generous tip and he refused to take it.
Service of this nature is near nonexistent in today’s world. Shivers went above and beyond in taking immediate care of me and going out of their way to rescue me from what I felt was a vulnerable and helpless position. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciated them and how highly I would recommend their service.
From the initial phone call to Shivers and Garner taking such exceptional care with me in my situation I can honestly say, Shivers is SIMPLY THE BEST!

Most horrible experience ever. I relocated from Memphis, TN to move to Atlanta, GA. There was an issue with U-haul's auto transport were the wheel completely came off. Shivers is apparently contracted with U-haul for tows and they sent them to tow the auto transport to U-haul along with my Chevy Tahoe. The tow driver took 3 hrs to come out which I was on the side of the highway with the U-haul 26 inch truck along with the auto transport hitch and my other car along with my Tahoe. The tow truck driver advised that he could not tow both as U-haul dispatcher advised him to do. So my husband and I had no choice but to leave my Tahoe on the side of the highway. Truck driver advised we will have to follow him to the U-haul location to get the new auto transport for him to attach to the 26 inch U-haul truck. The tow truck driver placed the broken auto transport at the U-haul location which is closed and left. When I spoke with U-haul dispatcher they advised that the tow driver was suppose to place the auto transporter to the U-haul truck and come back to the my truck and place it on the new auto transport. So when I came back to my Tahoe which it was the next day my Tahoe was completely destroyed. My muffler sawed off and all wires cut as well. Had the tow truck driver did what he was advised to do by U-haul my Chevy Tahoe would not be completely DESTROYED!!! I will advise all to never go to SHIVERS TOWING IN OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI!!! Wish system will allow me to review with no stars!!
A staple business in small town Oxford. Shivers towing has provided the highest quality towing services for many years. Prices are high but fair and firm, they are professional and will get whatever job you need finished, done.
If you need a towing company, Shivers was awesome. Just a dead battery, very quick to get to my DS. His car was parked in an awkward spot in the garage at college. We thought he might have to wait for someone to move. They brought long battery cables. Problem solved way quicker than expected! A big sigh of relief!
Best towing company in North Mississippi from Jackson to Memphis. They can do it all from light vehicles all the way up to 18-wheeler tows. They also do recovery and lock-outs. If you call, someone will answer the phone to assist you 24/7/365. Their estimates and prices beat all other wrecker services in the state. I wouldn’t trust my vehicles with any other company besides this one. If you give them a call, I guarantee you 100% they will treat you right!
They are the most wonderful people! I was able to a hold of them right away. They came in 15 minutes to open my car, where I had locked my keys in it. Wonderful service!
These guys came out with two trucks in 20 minutes to make sure my car got towed out of the mud. The process took a total of 25 minutes and cost me nothing since I used State Farm. They gave me a form for me to get a full reimbursement from my agent. If you are ever in a need of a quality wrecker service, Shivers should be at the top of your list.
I called Shivers Towing recently when my wife was stranded and I was unable to help out. They showed up quickly to help her get back on the road. They were extremely friendly and helpful to her. I will always use them in the future!
Absolutely terrible experience. My Infiniti broke down at the Potts Camp exit. The operator told me to hide the money and he would find it. The driver didn't know I was supposed to even pay; made me think something fishy was going on. My car doesn't work or open without the key fob. I had my car dealership in Birmingham Al go and get the car from Shivers in Oxford. The receptionist told the tow truck driver I didn't leave them a key. Then two days later they said they were going to mail it. 2 weeks have gone by and I still don't have my key. The mechanic can't work on my car without the working key. Now I have to buy another Infiniti key after spending $200 for a tow. Never use Shivers unless you towing a bicycle or shopping cart.
Shivers towing was there for me when I accidentally locked my 13 month old and myself out of the car. They were very kind, efficient, and super affordable compared to my other options! I will now always be using Shivers Towing!
A couple of weeks ago this company came out and towed our rental car back to Memphis after we ran over a piece of metal on the highway which resulted in two flat tires. The service we received was great. The driver was very professional, friendly, and helpful to us in getting to the rental company in Memphis to pick up another car. I don't recall his name but Thank You sir!
