Brought my car parts for the first time to make some quick cash they ended up giving me 9 dollars for a flat screen TV,a truck ignititon starter,a catalytic converter and a vast other amount of scrap that was the first and last time i will never return to this shop thanks for your business. Amazing service, very reliable getting my junker car sold. Had some trouble with other companies wanting to come out and pick it up but these guys gave me no hassle and scheduled a pickup for me the day after I called. Peter/Pete (sorry i can’t quite remember!) in the office was extremely kind and reassuring and the gentleman who picked up my vehicle, Jay (sorry again if thats wrong!), was also very kind and helpful, and had no problems with the the pickup! 10/10 would recommend. We were referred here by a tow driver to scrap a vehicle - not only did they offer fair pricing, they were quick and courteous. I was most impressed when my husband realized he forgot to get my special items from one of the compartments... they could have so easily said it was gone already but they went searching and retrieved my things, one being something from my father who has passed...I didn't think we'd get out back. I will certainly refer them to others.

I don’t understand how this place is real. Dropped an AC unit out of my window and was dreading having to pay to take it to one of the GR recycling centers, but I’m so happy I found Padnos… THEY paid ME for it!! And for someone who never understands what I’m supposed to do at a drop off site, the process could not have been more straightforward and well-explained. Super friendly staff. Was in and out in 10 minutes. Can’t wait for everyone I know to get sick of me talking about how great of an experience I had!!

I have always had a top notch experience recycling my metal at Padnos. I'm just a residential homeowner with a small amount of metal from time to time but they treat me as a valued customer. I especially want to commend Kevonte in the non-ferrous department. He is always very friendly and helpful - one of the best customer service employees I have ever met. Highly recommended!

Austin with Mr. lees picked up a car for me and it couldn’t have better a better experience. Told me that he uses this scrap yard and was able to give me a great price because of it. Got paid and got my yard cleaned up. I’ll be sure to call him next time I need a vehicle scrapped

I collect clean aluminum and toss it behind my barn for years until I get a truckload. I brought it in today and they tried to give me 13 cents a pound. Are you kidding me!! I guess I will just put it back behind barn.

Today is 6/1/24. I came into the non-ferrous department today and Andrew was the only guy available to work. Let me tell you that dude did amazing. He didn't let the fact that he was the only person working. It was as if the department was running at normal capacity. Love this location. Great job!!!!

The yard was clean and swept. The staff was courteous and helpful. Turner is my go-to for turning in scrap metals!

Been going here for years. Best service on the planet. From the yard to the office it doesn't get any better. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Plus they have a great heavy rebuild shop just as good.

Would not take converters to these people. You are getting ripped off. The guy took a picture of the converter. Told me it was an aftermarket DPF unit off a diesel and it would be worth 5 bucks...... I removed it from a 2019 Ford 7.3L GAS E-450.... I had a recipe showing all this information from the repair with me. But the worker could care less. The converter had Ford stamped on the side of it in 3 locations. If they have no clue what they are looking at how can they give you an accurate dollar amount? They cant.... It's a guess at best..... I have used these people from returns since moving to the area. About 2 trips a month but I realized at this visit you're just guessing a price and hoping people take it. I really question how many people would have taken the 5 dollars for a unit I got 277 dollars for down the road.... I won't be taking these people anything non-ferrous.. We have better options.

We had a minivan that wasn't driveable and Padnos picked it up and towed it away for us. The whole process was good. The driver was very prompt and courteous. We received more than expected. Would recommend them.

I gotta say most guys at the non ferrous yard are great. Jose does a great job clearing up questions or concerns I have and keeps the energy positive from the get go to the end. The manager has great customer service skills as well. Now that just needs to be passed on to the guy in the yellow shirt.

Great group of people working here and very helpful if your unsure I'm certain one or all of them will be able to help you know. I highly recommend bringing your scrap here and get more for work!

Second Experience: Called GLR to scrap an SUV, they put me through with Cars For Cash like they normally do. Gave them all of my information and they said a dispatcher would get a hold of me. This first call was at 9am. I called again around 2pm since I hadn't received a call or text. They put me through FOUR different people, and still no answer. I was told someone would reach out to me. So I waited, no call. 5pm. Guy on the phone doesn't even know what to do, but he says he'll call and text the person responsible and get back with me quickly. 5:30pm, I call them again. Once again he doesn't know what to do other than reassure me that someone will get a hold of me. This whole thing was extremely unprofessional and a waste of my time. Ended up having a local guy scrap my car, and he even gave me a slightly better rate. My first experience with GLR and Cars for Cash went well, but I can't recommend them after what happened to me the second time. I really needed to have this vehicle scrapped asap before I took a small trip outta town, and they did not pull through for me. It's now the next day as a write this review and they still have not texted or called. Thumbs down I do not recommend. If you do call them, make sure to have a backup plan.

Places like this gives me more hope in humanity. Everyone and anyone recycling materials to keep the wheels turning. The staff is on top of what/where/how to recycle! They help you understand the process and then they turn the efforts into money. Good place, good people. Keep places like this going strong and don't abuse the privilege by lying about materials/weights etc. Just be honest and don't ruin this public business for everyone else

Probably the best all-around experience with getting a vehicle that was beyond repair to it's final destination. Great customer service from both of the people I spoke to on the phone, as well as the driver who picked up my old truck. Fair price for the vehicle (cash in hand). Excellent communication and very punctual. If you have a vehicle that needs to go, call GLR.

Great facility and friendly staff. Just started going to this location this year for my job and Dontell has been incredibly helpful and shared so much knowledge with me. Wider scales than the Burton location so it’s easier to get large trucks in and out of. Have had poor experiences with other scrap businesses in town so we’re sticking with Padnos. These folks are experts.

Best experience I've ever personally had scrapping a vehicle. Incredibly responsive and friendly on all fronts, from the initial quote and dispatcher over the phone, to the tow truck driver who came to get the car out of my driveway. And I got a fair price. Stellar company to go through if you're trying to get rid of a junk car.

Excellent and easy service. I submitted online request for vehicle that was no longer working and wasn't worth fixing. Offer was returned very quickly and they scheduled to pick it up from my home the next day. Tow truck driver arrived exactly when they said they would and paid me in cash.
