Highly recommend! Came here for a 2nd opinion for a rear subframe replacement. I believe this was the owner I was working with but he was super helpful, listened to my issue and gave me some options. Gave me a great price compared to what I was quoted previously. He lets you bring your own parts or he’ll order them for you…and we all know, not many mechanics around Boston do that.
All in all, I finally found a respectful, reputable & fast mechanic. You guys have a “forever customer”’! :)

My Prius suddenly went berserk with dash lights blinking & beeping , loss of power & braking. I barely limped it home safely TG. I thought she was going to end up on Peddle. But Ahmad & team were able to figure out how to.get her back to normal. Brake line was leaking & rear calipers were immobilized. So they fixed the line , put on new brakes & calipers in a timely fashion over Thanksgiving. My car has a lot of miles on her so I was glad that Ahmad def knows his way around the old Prius! Friendly & efficient shop right in my hood so forget about the dealership! 😻
Ladies and gentlemen, today I want to share a frustrating experience regarding vehicle repairs that emphasizes the need for consumer vigilance and accountability in the service industry. Recently, I spent a significant sum of $4,818.63 to have my vehicle fixed and ensure it passed inspection. However, to my dismay, as soon as I picked it up, the check engine light reappeared. Upon returning to the shop, I was told by the owner that fixing this new issue would cost me an additional $400 to $500.
This situation raises a critical point: why wasn't this "new code era" addressed while the vehicle was under service? Having invested heavily in what I expected to be a complete repair, it seems unreasonable and unfair that I am now being asked to bear additional costs by immediately after their alleged repairs.
This experience serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of clear communication and thorough service by repair shops. As consumers, we expect reliability and value for our hard-earned money. This incident has not only cost me financially but also eroded my trust in this service provider. It is unacceptable, and I certainly will not be returning to this establishment.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Forest Hills Auto Service and especially to Ahmad for his responsiveness and willingness to help. He took on a complicated repair and completed it not only with great quality, but also much faster than I expected.
Thanks to his professionalism and genuine care, I received exactly the result I was hoping for. I left the shop truly happy and confident, driving home in my fully repaired car.

Excellent shop came in for PPI, which was done at an extremely reasonable and cheap price, and most importantly taken care of with extreme diligence and care. Found my go to auto service shop for anything I need. Hard to fins an honest workshop now days that won't rip you off, and everyone knows how tough this economy is right now. Can't recommend this shop enough, just excellent🔥🔥💯💯❤️
This guy is money hungry and a liar. Had my car there for service and the car came back with more problems. And they want to charge you to fix the problem. That they caused. Crooks. Go elsewhere to get your car fixed correctly. For the right price, not some fabricated Price.
I am such a big fan of Ahmad and the team at Forest Hills Auto! They always explain everything very clearly, the turnaround is quick, and service is so thorough. The team is so organized and easy to communicate with. Also everyone is very kind when you come in! I highly recommend them, especially if you want a team that is knowledgeable and attentive to detail.
BEWARE of this shop – they prey on people who don’t know better. I was quoted an outrageous $3,500 for a clutch replacement on a Honda Civic, a job that typically costs half that amount or even less at Honda Servicing. It’s clear they were trying to take advantage of me, assuming I wouldn’t question their absurd pricing. This isn’t just bad business—it’s a SCAM.
If you don’t want to get ripped off, stay away from this place. They will overcharge you and hope you don’t realize it. Go to an honest shop that actually cares about their customers. This place is just out to scam you for every dollar they can get.
I recently visited Forest Hills Auto Service based on their fantastic reviews and its convenient location in the Bourne Neighborhood. I stopped by one Monday to inquire about dropping off my older BMW, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly they took my car in. I had it back in just two days!
The team was incredibly helpful, clearly explaining the necessary repairs before any work began. This transparency made me feel relaxed and confident in their expertise. Finding a trustworthy mechanic can be tough, but I left feeling assured and satisfied.

Folks here were very nice and helpful when I needed assistance earlier this morning! I was nearby with a motorcycle with a dead battery. I called around unsuccessfully for a jump, Forest Hills Auto Service was very nice and helpful and told me that they don't usually do that, but would be available to help me. I ended up getting a jump for a passerby and didn't need further service after all, but I will def remember how helpful and accommodating they were when I was stressed out and I will come for future service.
I needed to replace the driveshaft of my 2014 car. Checked with several mechanics including the dealership, and this place offered the quickest service at the most reasonable price.
About half a year later, I needed to replace the rear brakes, and again had a good experience here.
It's not a fancy place but it's comfortable enough, with an air conditioned waiting room, with a TV and restroom.

I really like this shop. They have great communication, costs are reasonable compared to other places I’ve been, and the work they do on my car is quality/lasts. I also find as a woman it can sometimes be a challenge to feel respected/comfortable at auto shops when going alone, but everyone at Forest Hills Auto has always treated me with respect (and I especially appreciate the kindness of the ladies the front desk). Great experience.
This is what I have to say. My BMW X5 4.8i blew its rear differential and axles. I called around for a week. No one wanted to help me. I purchased the differential and axles up in NH. Not one auto shop wanted to put in parts that were not purchased by the auto shop. I was 100% relieved when this auto shop said sure. Bring the car to us. We will take care of you. The only shop close to me open on Saturdays. I dropped the car off on Saturday and the car was fixed and ready to be picked up Tuesday evening. I’m pleased to say, I’ll bring my car here moving forward. Thank you Forest Hills Auto Service for taking care of me. There were parts in the trunk that were put back on the car. I never requested them to do it. I was pleased to see them put them on. I needed my vehicle back ASAP. I recommend Forest Hills Auto Service.

Bought 3 used cars over the past 10 years, all are low mileage and great condition. I visit for maintenance work on regular basis, very professional, nice, friendly and reliable.
Brought my vehicle here after purchasing it was used , had high miles and my check engine light was on. They call me the next day and give me a list of things needed I say ok let's get it fixed! 3 days go by and I call asking if any up dates they tell me they were sent wrong parts etc ok fine following week goes by I call Friday and they tell me wrong part sent again has to order from another place. Again I say ok keep me informed of status Another week goes by I call and ask any update I'm told they are working on it should be ready soon! Next day get call it's ready I go to pick up and a couple thousand dollar bill I assume all is well! Not even a quarter mile from shop check engine light back on I bring back and tell them says he will check it out carvthere for another two weeks and finally says he can't fix but car is running good! Had car for a month charged me over $3k and only fixed a couple small issues! Couple months later my check oil light comes on and it's before suggested time on sticker! So I call this shop because one of the services they were to perform was an oil change! The owner says bring it he will take a look personally I say ok. Drop of explain what's going on. Called a day later says a hose needs to be replaced should take a day or 2 I call 2 days later he tells me wrong part was sent needs more time. A week later he calls says its ready I go to pick it up and pay them! Before I could even get home lights are flashing same issues I was having prior still were happening basically didn't fix anything! Out almost $4k total and didn't fix any of my major issues! He ( the owner ) was really nice tho! Bottom line if you DONT want your car fixed but would like to be fed garbage and charged for it all while being greased by the really nice owner then this is the place for you!! If you want your car fixed and fixed properly I'd strongly suggest any other shop other than Forest Hills Auto BEWARE!
Excellent work from the pros at Forest Hills. Took my Tundra in for differential repair when other shops wouldn’t take it. Fair prices and speedy service. General Manager Ahmad was friendly and very helpful.
Couldn't get in at Morrison's auto because they were "booked over a week in advance" so I desperately called Forest Hills Auto Service who even though it seemed tight found a way to squeeze me in. The person at the counter was so nice to me, and everyone seemed to be a very tightly knit group. My oil change was a little slow but that was because I came in with no notice or appointment. I would definitely recommend coming to Forest Hills for your auto needs! Bring cash because they have cash discount!
This place is fantastic! Carley manages the desk and she is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Customer service is always superb. The owner Ahmad is honest and fair, and mechanics, specifically Steve, are very experienced and always professional. I don't know the other mechanics by name, but each time I come in for something, or just need air in my tires, they are always eager to assist me. I won't go anywhere else! I also refer all of my friends and family as well because I trust their work, and they stand by everything they do. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Excellent service and the work was completed on time, both in small and large repairs. Ahmad gave me sound advice on my car’s issues and even found a good deal on a new engine. Everyone at the shop is very knowledgeable and friendly. They keep my old and beloved car running
I've been going to Forest Hills Auto for about 10 years for a variety of issues with my car, and they've been great. Polite, kind, reasonable prices, and excellent service. I've had such good experiences with them that I continued using them after I moved to Malden, even though there are mechanics much closer to me. Highly Recommend!
Been here at least 6+ times for various services. Never had to make an appointment, they see me the day I call them and they always fix everything by the end of the day. Very friendly and honest staff. Never felt like anybody was trying to rip me off, always super reasonable pricing. I drive and old car so I tell them to patch up good enough to pass inspection and they will find the cheapest way to do so!
Came here on a late Thursday night with brake issues on my 06 HONDA Pilot. Ahmed is a really nice guy and took my car for checking immediately. Being a student I am always looking to save money. He charged me $400 lesser than another store I had been to. Ended up replacing the entire front brake pads, rotors and calipers for a very reasonable price. Shall surely come back :)
Definitely the best shop in the area and I've been to several. Bought my 98 civic last year and it had a problem where no mechanic in MA from Boston to Amherst could fix. Tookit here and they not only diagnosed the issue instantly but fixed it quickly and cheaper than most quotes
Definitely worth taking your car to. They have great hours and staff. Parking can be pretty tough but they will make space if parking is too difficult to find
