Horrible experience! I was dropping off a SUV full of furniture donations and the employees were extremely rude! I drove up at 4:58pm and they said they were closed. I said it's not 5pm yet and I have a car full of stuff to donate. The guy got very aggressive and was complaining about how much work he had to do before he could go home for the day. Very ungrateful employees! Stay away from this awful company and take your items to a company that is grateful for donations!

This store pissed me off today. But there was also a good part so read all. I went to look for teapots. Before I even made it to that area I seen a desk I fell in LOVE with. It’s a nice desk and just about the size I needed. I asked who I believed to be the manager “if I pay for a desk I like can I come back in less than an hour and a half to pick up as I have a piece of outdoor furniture in my suv already” I was given a very firm “no we can’t hold things” I then said even though I’m paying for it I just need to run home to Parkville drag the outdoor table out of my car and run back here”, again, “NO”! I went back to the furniture and sat in a chair near the desk while I texted and made calls to see if anyone was available to help me. No one could which I figured as it’s a work day. While still sitting in the chair with literally a few tears in my eyes as I really wanted this desk, the manager was walking towards me to go to the office. I asked “would you consider an exception to the rule if I said please I really want this” again a FIRM NO, no empathy no nothing ! Found out she was the assistant manager, so I decided to ask the store manager when I found out a different lady was the SM. Again met with a FIRM NO. I literally begged all I needed was less thank 1.5 hours 30 minutes to home 30 back and a little time to get other thing out of my car as I knew I had no help at home it would be just me. BUT the store manager did at least then say, “you can buy it and put it outside and hopefully it will be there when you come back” literally right outside the door in front of the window. So if you can do that then why not let me leave it upfront in front of the window INSIDE, either way it was going to be paid for before I left. But anyway, I agreed and a young lady cashier put a piece of paper on it that said sold, I thanked her and two men put it outside. There was a young boy (cashier) his name is Kelly, I asked him would he be up front the whole time his reply was “yes ma’am I will” I asked “can you try to keep an eye on it but I don’t want you in trouble” he said “don’t worry I got you” I’ll be here when you get back and so will your desk”. So I ran home got table out, turned around and went right back it was 1 hour and 9 minutes! The young man was still upfront he seen me and asked “can you give me a few minutes to get the line down and I will help you out it in your car” ? I said yes Kelly, I can wait. Kelly is better than this place. Extremely kind, always a smile on his face, told me he kept a sharp eye on it even while still doing his job. He put it in the car all by himself and it was not light but would not let me help him. He is a great asset to any company and I hope one day Goodwill or wherever he winds up appreciates him as much as I did today. Thank you Kelly from the bottom of my heart

This has to be one of the worst stores in the area. Very dirty, unorganized, and customer service is poor.

This used to be one of my favorite Goodwills, but lately it is not even worth going to. It's always a mess and the games/puzzles section was non-existent.

I was checking out a rip stick and a manager got in my face almost trying to fight me, not to mention their prices are so high now, I really recommend taking your donations to Vietnam veterans!

A Den of THIEVES!!! They rip you off by adding extra items to your purchase. My niece who lives down the street from this location says they are FAMOUS for tagging on extra items you did not purchase. They are SCAMMERS. I got the run around when asking to pull the video. But I don't care how long it takes I'm going to go back and have them pull the video. I don't live in Owings Mills I live in the city and I've wasted my gas going back to get them to resolve this to be told I have to come back when the STORE Manager was there not just the manager. I'm going to keep my receipt and they will give me back my money. They are also OVER PRICED for things they get for FREE.

I found some great stuff here. The only thing that is amazing to me at any Goodwill is why the prices for clothes like Zara are so high, Zara is really an upgraded Shein but not by much. This just makes me smile every time.

I drove an hour and a half to get to this location just to walk out empty handed. The selection of goods on the shelves are very sparse, show cases without anything but shoes. The prices were not the best. I saw some items from Michaels that this store was trying to get half of the retail price for, which Michaels would have done in their stores. Also, I saw an item from HomeGoods that was originally $14.99 and marked down to $11. The goodwill was asking $10 for it. The folks pricing this stuff clearly don't know the difference between retail and secondhand. Also, parking spaces at this establishment are atrocious.

Super nice people work here, but the prices are outrageous! Outrageous ! 10 dollar t shirts 18 dollar old hoodies, shoes are 20 bucks. Way too much, that’s why it’s empty now!

Everything is overpriced. Recently moved to the area and was looking for kitchen items. I could get new items at the target down the road for the same price. Never even saw an employee until I was about to leave. could hear them in the back yelling at each other. Everything was a mess and unorganized. Will not go back.

Price’s are ridiculously and unbelievably high. Started shopping here in 2019 and prices we decent, so I kept coming back. 4 years later I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in the store. The first few items I picked up I looked at the prices and put them back on the shelf. It got so bad that I would just pick up random stuff just for giggles to see what the price was and felt like this place is a rip off. Example : a small old used candle $2.99 . I picked up a small desk size heater ($8.00) I plugged it in, it didn’t work ( I wonder if the checked to see if it worked before putting it on the shelf). I got good prices on some jeans for $6.99 that was it.

This use to be a pretty decent Goodwill, but now it is just a lot of overpriced nothing. The things that are worth buying are usually only available online and that takes all the fun out of thrift shopping, the hunting down a good bargain is the best part. A trip to this thrift store is a waste of time, however you could get lucky if they missed something that was supposed to go online.

Bad experience with this locations customer service (young lady named Kayla in particular and a Chanel) Kayla has something against me for some reason. I gave a greeting of good Morning to be ignored and hear her greet the woman after me. I frequent this location because it's in my area. I've had to deal with them overpricing a jacket and a pair of sneakers that didn't have the tag. I compared to other items and they marked it higher at $16 for me. Very Disappointing especially because I donate as well. Customer service needs improvement

Worst donation center. We went there to donate a lot of clothes and useful equipments for a new born. It was freezing rain outside and we got zero cooperation and direction from the employee. Attitude of the employee was as if he was doing us a favor by allowing us to donate. Worst experience ever, never going to go back to Goodwill of Reisterstown.

It's really a hit or miss situation at this location. Sometimes you find something really good but most of the time it's just random junk. CD / DVD cases sometimes don't even have anything inside them so I always have to check the inside before I purchase it.

I own a business near by. These people who lack Good Will despite their name like to not allow their clients to use their restrooms so they send them to me. Kind of annoying to have a steady number of people coming in to take number twos.

Found some good things from this Goodwill but it lags compared to Timonium and Towson. The employees don't push Club Goodwill or at least ask if you're a member when rung up. Saw a beautiful TV stand I would have purchased no matter the price but since it had no sticker(then why is it on the floor, then?) they could not sell it to me and made no effort to price it. Never walked out of a store as annoyed as I did then. Like they acted like they couldn't help me and went on to do absolutely nothing. Shameful. Also sold a power strip that did not work. The lights were on on the strip but did not run power through. They put it on the floor and never bothered to see if what they tested with it worked like they are supposed to do.

Prices are ALL outrageous, literally checked a few items on on Amazon and it was $1-5 more for new stuff. They had fake UGGS. Was in there 45 minutes while cashier talked to her friend asked to see something she told me off, these stores are not charity and the employees get paid, no clue why attitude was added for free. I dropped everything and left.

Do not donate goods to the Goodwill of Chesapeake locations. They send all the good stuff to auctions to sell for maximum profits and put the junk out on floor for sale. Not worth shopping or donating here as they have no interest in serving the community just lining their corporate pockets. As my photos show, the shelves are empty, where do all the donations go?

Came here on Wednesday July 6th at around 10:45 to drop off some items and the guy handling the items acted like he's some kind of drill sergeant or something giving orders instead of asking. I told him you need to be nice when you talk to your customers we are who pays your salary he then copped an attitude and said if you don't like it don't come back I went in to get the manager and the first thing I noticed it smelled like old stuff not representative of other Goodwills including Virginia Arizona California. I waited about 5 minutes for the manager they never showed up so that's what got you on one star review

I've tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but twice I've experienced the absolute WORSE customer service while donating. Though, I've found some useful items here, I've decided I will not be donating at this location again because staff person specifically in the donation area treat you as if you owe them the items you're donating. They have absolutely no customer service training, and they don't understand the concept that the donations and sales literally help them keep their jobs.

Going on the say of delivery when they add more things on the floor are the best days to go. One say there can be good things another day there can be not much. Items goes very fast once placed on shelves. Especially since covid, there have been lots of items available. I most times check out Goodwill before going to a regular store to save on pricing. Furniture is really inexpensive and some items are in very good condition. There's always clothes, however the pots and pans, tea cups and dishes can be in great condition, like new.

Roxy was amazing. She was very pleasant, kind, and good under pressure. She greets the customers as they come in and she was the only employee in there at the time and she was answering phone calls and checking a full line of people out quickly. She was amazing and is such a kind person.

I’ve dropped off donations many times, but this was my first time ever in life shopping at a thrift store. I thought it was beneath me lol. Boy was I wrong. Needed some finishing touches for home decor and grew tired and bored with Home Goods, so I stopped in. Grabbed some books to fill my bookshelf without breaking the bank, and picked up some artwork, a cute wicker basket, and a lamp. The kind cashier tested the lamp for me. It didn’t work, so she suggested I come back the next day for a refund after the transaction processed. She even called the manager over to ensure everything would go smooth the next day. Excellent customer service. It was only 8 bucks, so I’ll keep the lamp for decoration.

The staff was very nice and everything was clean and orderly but I was very disappointed with pricing! I was mainly looking for shoes this trip. I ended up putting several pairs back because they were $10-15 each and there are no returns and no discounts! I do understand that it's a business and that they had losses while they were closed but that is a big change in their business model. I really wanted to focus on selling used items and up-cycling to help reduce the pollution caused by fast fashion trends but this will make it very hard (at least in the short term) for most resellers to maintain their business models.

It is a huge store. The cashier's are very friendly. They do not put junk in this store, but actually things that a person would want to buy. There quality of items have improved amazingly. I also like the fact that they help people once incarcerated get another chance. Hat's off to you.

Pros: Nice location, nice staff. Cons: not as big or nicely stocked as I expected from a Goodwill Super Store - items didn't seem as carefully processed as others. Biggest disappointment was the prices on frames, furniture and housewares - weirdly high. I chatted with a couple of other shoppers and they concurred.
