Worst location ever. Have been here a few times and always some drama. Rude staff, extremely slow lines, 40 minutes for a smooth.

Workers at food court do an amazing job especially Friday nights. Super busy but they be rolling. I’ve seen some customers being rude due to the wait for pizza like it doesn’t need to be made and actually cooked. If you want hot n ready go to little Caesar's.

Tony and a female manager on site of 2/27/26 were unprofessional and unreasonable. Tony stopped me mid shop AFTER entry to ask me to return to the front doors and scan. I shared I was an instashopper and that I had already started my batch. I’m showing this in hand with the store name and location and items requested showing. As if you don’t have to scan your membership card in order to purchase and check out of the store. Completely unprofessional and unreasonable to bother me mid shopping as an Instacart shopper. I normally walk in and show my order cause the batch is open and being timed and continue to check out with the Instacart shopper app which has everything needed to check out.

I prefer this location over the Columbia one any day, much easier parking lot and less busy.

Sandra in the pharmacy is always so pleasant. She is very helpful. I wish every cashier were like her. She makes it a pleasure to shop there

The people at guest services make up their own policies to benefit them. They need proper training from corporate. Last time I bought Pokemon they told me I needed to buy a membership to get more. So I paid $65 for an additional membership months ago. I go again recently and they said it’s 2 per person and that I already bought. When it came time to take my money and open a new membership but when they were nice but when I tried to use my other membership recently they were being complete jerks. I went to get services with a membership that has not been use and the lady said you already got some and I need to validate your other memberships. Making up rules when the memberships I gave them was not used. They wanted me to show them my other 2 memberships in order to buy more. Old lady was making up rules and said “I’m about to validate your other memberships”. Lady do your job check my memberships to see nothing was purchased for the day and give me my product. Corporate will be getting a call. Good job. Maybe next time learn your own policies rather than being ignorant and having an attitude. Stupid

Andrew at Costco was amazing when he helped me with a meat return. He was kind, patient, and made the whole process smooth and painless. Customer service like this is why I love shopping here. Thanks again, Andrew.

It’s a Costco. They are all the same— overwhelming, yet oddly comforting. Be prepared to be accosted by homeless men in the parking lot. I get approached every other time I go. Staff is great, hot dogs are iconic, butter has been relocated to the eggs & dairy section.

On this particular day, we stopped by Columbia because we were in the area, and it packed. For us, Owings Mills is very convenient, ample parking, efficient checkout, strong inventory options, great gas prices. My only wish is for more low sugar/sugar free options in the condiments, sauces, rather than meat, cheese, and some prepared options. These types of things are creeping in, such as granola and cereal.

I’ve been shopping at this Costco location for about five years and have seen both the good and the bad. Unfortunately, lately this branch seems to be going downhill, and it appears to stem from poor management. Employees seem overworked, which may explain why customer service has become increasingly rude. Returns, in particular, are uncomfortable. Staff often make sarcastic comments that make you feel judged, almost as if they’re trying to discourage you from returning items. Fridays are especially problematic. The food court is consistently understaffed, with wait times exceeding 45 minutes for a pizza and a few sundaes. It often gets so bad that customers need to be refunded, and the ice cream machine always seems to be “broken” on the busiest days. I hope management recognizes these ongoing issues and takes steps to improve operations and support their staff, because this location used to be much better.

Used to be a GREAT shopping experience. NOW if you switch phones the app logs you out, you can't sign in from me device without being forced to change passwords, and the you CAN'T EVEN SEE PRICES WITHOUT LOGGING IN!!!??? Looks like we'll be switching to BJ's or some other warehouse that doesn't hate it's own paid members.

Again, it was incredibly crowded. Checkout lines moved quickly, starting halfway deep into the store. They have more items than other club stores, and are cleaner. Employees are very helpful and knowledgeable.

One of the last U.S. businesses to hold themselves to a high standard. Everything works as it ought to or better. Their pharmacy even has Traveler Services and the price fir yellow fever vaccine is half of elsewhere. The quality of food and just about anything in the stores us superior and prices unbeatable. Customer service at the Owings Mills location - fantastic.

Yesterday, I went to Costco with my daughter. I went in first because I needed to stop by the ladies’ room. When I came out, my daughter was at customer service renewing her membership with the $130 card, and then she stepped back out to the truck to make a few business calls—she’s a franchise owner and needed to handle something urgent. I walked into the store to pick up the water we came for. A staff member, Gretchen from the Owings Mills location, began calling out “Ma’am!” repeatedly while following me through the store. At first, I didn’t think she was speaking to me, given that my daughter had just renewed the membership. Eventually, I realized she was trying to get my attention. The experience felt uncomfortable and unnecessary—especially in a busy store on a Saturday. I felt singled out and embarrassed, particularly as a Black woman in a predominantly white area. There may have been a more respectful and discreet way to communicate whatever she needed to address, and I wanted to share this feedback so the interaction can be improved in the future.

My mother & I decided to divide and conquer because it was so crowded and we had somewhere else to go. She had to use the bathroom, I had to renew. We met at membership, while at the membership desk, I said it's crowded in here let me go get coffee & gas so we're not late (she wants to walk down every aisle and sample stuff ?) and come back. Gave my mother the card so she could get started. I get a call from my mother saying that customer service representative, Gretchen, chased me down & kicked me out the store saying I can't use your card. WHAT?! First off, who chases an old lady in the store, yelling "you know I was chasing you"? Not to mention, I have the executive membership for $130!!! Gretchen could've asked me if I wanted to add her to my membership which has been pointless for all these years because she lives with us and we shop together. My mother stated she was extremely embarrassed, humiliated as the impression to other shoppers was that she was stealing and had to be escorted out. When I returned to approach Gretchen, her response was "she can't be here with your card", when in fact she doesn't need a membership to get her prescriptions AND I was at the GAS STATION, attached to the SAME STORE, with the spare card!! And with aggression her response "I watched you give her the card and walk away" ? But you didn't decide to mention you were going to kick her out or ask if I wanted to add her or you'd kick her out? The customer service, consideration and COMMON SENSE leaves a lot to be desired!! Side note: I have a husband, 2 kids & a mother, normal American Household, we all eat and we all drive and shouldn't be required to have multiple memberships in order to not be humiliated & escorted out by Gretchen! Do better Costco! Whole time my mother is saying dont complain, I don't want her to lose her job, you came back in the store (and we walked all the aisles and got all the samples, together?? all before my Starbucks). GRETCHENNNNN?

Had a bad experience today watch for your carts I just left my cart unattended for 1 minute while shopping and the employee took the cart and start putting stuff back and it happened twice today I started 2nd time again loading the cart but 3rd time I just purchased the toilet tissue after spending almost 1hour 30 minutes as I would recommend people just watch out for employee named Stacey very rude as I saw my stuff on her cart and told her to get me my cart but she just ignored to me it looks like she was on some drugs. It has never happened before and I am executive member spoke to manager and didn’t even apologize for the situation I can go on but I don’t have much time

I love me some Costco. I've been a member for 8 years, at least. I now have the fortitude to walk in, skip the cart, and buy a single item. I am a reformed man. This year, for the first time, I was able to purchase clothes. They finally carried my size (small). This easily doubles the value of my membership.

Great place! The interior design is great. The tire shop is attached near the exit, which is way better than other Costcos. Also, I got a new key fob for my car from the key kiosk, and it was way less expensive than going to the dealership. The lines also move faster here than at other Costcos, and because of that, I'll visit again.

Very good Costco overall, in both organization and staff friendliness. The customers who frequent this store are mostly loutish, so visiting on non-weekend days will minimize your exposure. The only criticism I have is they are often out of onions for their hotdogs in the food service area. Granted, I shouldn’t expect perfection and should just be thankful a hot dog and fountain drink only costs $1.50. The problem I have is the photo advertising the hot dog, seen here, clearly indicates it has the option of minced onions. Sometimes perfectly-sized covered containers of minced onions are present on the counter, found in a white plastic bin. If not there you can ask the counter person if onions are available. They’ll either fetch a container in the back or tell you there are no onions. If I were a rude person when told there are no onions, I would firmly suggest they go back to the produce area of the store and grab a bag of onions, mincing them as needed. I am an Executive member, and member since the mid 1980’s.

This store stays very busy, and the parking lot can feel a bit chaotic. The gas station area is also difficult to navigate because customers aren’t usually mindful of others. Additionally, it’s challenging to find staff on the sales floor when you need help locating items. Overall, more floor assistance and traffic flow management would improve the experience.

Always crowded but self check out moves fast. I like the food samples. Don't carry products that BJ'S carries. Some difficulty finding what aisle products are in since the aisles are marked

I never thought I'd review a Costco, but good lord if this wasn't the most amazing check-out experience I've ever had. The Self-Checkout line was so streamlined. There was an assistant working her way up the line with a scanner, and all we had to do was scan our Costco card when we got to the kiosk. The bill automatically pulled up and we paid. I kid you not, nearly 30 other customers went through within the 5 mins, midday on a Saturday (a busy time). They've got it down to a science ??

It's a great location, I've often come across good customer service here. Lots of bakery items, plenty of frozen vegetables and seafood as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Toom sauce here and couldn't help but grab it! There are many snacking options, frozen and regular. Decent produce selection and meats too - both halal and kosher varieties too. As with most Costcos, there is a good stock of apparel for kids and adults. I love the self checkout area, just wish there was a handheld scanner so you don't have to lift the bulkier items. I've been lucky to have an employee scan those for me a few times.

Always very crowded but the staff is always friendly and move with purpose at checkout time . I do wish there was more of them around at times to answer questions. I find myself getting frustrated when looking for items and dodging the people that think it’s a tourist attraction….. overall it’s great for stocking up your kitchen and home (:

I have unfortunately never had a positive experience at this Costco. The selection of food and merchandise is good, prices are good, overall shopping experience is OK, but the staff is very rude and unwelcoming. Just today I listened to two different staff members in different sides of the store talking negatively about other staff members. The staff seems to go out of their way to make things harder for themselves and then treat the customer poorly for it, all the way down to how they scan items and throw your bread and produce around at the checkout line. Everyone at checkout is aggressive. As a new customer a few years ago I was infantilized and ridiculed for not remembering they had to scan my card. I am one of many recently harassed into upgrading their membership. It’s just not a great place for customer service, but its the closest costco I’ve got. Food court and food court staff are great. Every other staff member I have interacted with or been in the presence of has been rude, unhelpful, and seem to be downright furious they work at Costco.

India at Costco was able to assist with a question about ordering while assisting two customers. Very pleasant and patience. Gave a detailed answer and instructions. Optical has a ticket dispenser to call you from the waiting area when ready. Online order option if you have your correct personal information. Recommend asking for India based on my positive experience.

Best place for quality produce such as plantains, avocados, pineapples, bananas and garlic. Great place providing value for food items such as coconut milk, flour, and rice compared to other stores A must shop for toiletries like toilet paper and paper towels And a must stop shop for water if you like to stretch your dollar. Also, this store has a more friendlier feel than the other Costcos in the state and bigger space so you feel more comfortable walking around. Finally, if you are hungry, the hot dogs and the lemonade Minute Maid are a top pick for me.

This is a review of the Tire Center. I have been here twice in 2024, both times with appointments scheduled online. I have waited approximately 3 hours each time. I have had the time to speak with many other customers with similar absurd wait times. I was there yesterday and one of the employees told me it would take about an hour to have my tires inspected and plugged. I went and ate dinner nearby, got coffee, and ended up having to wait another two hours. I saw cars with appointments much later than mine get pulled into the bay while mine was still not done. My complaint is not about the employees. The staff is pleasant and you can see them working, but management needs to do better. Why have so many appointment times available if every day they are backed up by hours? Why not give a more accurate time estimate so folks can adjust? Many customers came to the desk to ask a question or buy a battery, but there is no on there to help them. The free services offers if you buy your tires at Costco is great, but the reality is that you might be better off going somewhere else and paying if you value your time and consideration.

We have been been to several other Costco‘s and we really like the one in Middle River. However , this location is unlike other Costco’s. The clientele is rude and although the store is big there is surprisingly a way smaller selection than Costco’s not nearly as big. And because of all of this I will give this Costco a 2 star due to my negative experience.

Great addition to Owings Mills.. I usually go in once a week to buy an entire Rotisserie chicken for only $4.99. I also like the fresh fruit you can get year long like mangoes and watermelons.
