I love this store due to the manager Wendy Thomas she has a good team if it was not for her I would not go there she is an amazing person and very knowledgeable I send all my friends in to see Wendy.. Augusta rocks her store is always clean smells amazing very positive great joking a atmosphere
The folks at this store are superior. The manager, though female, obviously has the respect of the young men, and they all treat each other like friends, and treat us customers with respect. I've been to a lot of auto parts stores. This one is superior.
I called 4 places this rainy, chilly, evening. I got 4 answers, with various differences, to my simple question about a battery replacement. The Advance Auto Rep. was friendly, honest, helpful, kind, and professional. For, these reasons, because of the service I received that night (his honesty and kindness) Advance Auto will be my first choice when I need a car part store.
For business customers they do a great job. Don't know about retail but I don't see why it would be different. They go out of their way to find the parts I need as quickly as they can be had . Friendly too
I called and was told by the nice woman that works there that they do battery changes with free installtion. When I got there, Tyler helped me get a discount by entering my phone number. He personally installed my battery after confirming they had the right type. Nice people, speedy service, reasonable prices.
Needed parts which they received at the time I was told. I'm from out of state and stuck in Walmart parking lot after getting towed off hwy. They not only got my parts in but delivered them to me.
Great group at this store.

Not sure what happened, the staff used to be so nice. This time the person at the counter was beyond rude and also royally unhelpful the moment I stepped through the doors. We did absolutely nothing to be treated so contemptuously.

Had a positive experience with Mark, Wendy and Cary (sp?). They all demonstrated great customer service, friendliness and problem solving. I recommend this store.
Normally I have a pretty good experience at this store, and visit it frequently, however I just left and am appalled at the attitude from one of the female employees. I didn’t catch her name, but she had a double nose piercing.
I needed two bolts measured and needed to make a return. She huffed and puffed so much about the bolts that I just did the return instead and left. She was incredibly rude, threw my bolts around and did not have good customer service in the slightest.
Everyone else there seems to be wicked nice, I’m not sure what the hell her deal was though.
My sons car blew a tire on the interstate and the local tire shop only had a rim requiring the use of splined lug nuts. I walked into the Augusta Advance Auto store and picked up what I thought was the correct set. I purchased the lug nuts from the clerk and she asked if I wanted a receipt, being in a hurry I said no. She said no problem I will toss it into the trash. After returning to the car I quickly realized I had grabbed the incorrect lug set. I immediately returned to the store, and explained to the same clerk what had happened, and that I needed to exchange the set. She immediately retrieved my receipt and started a return. After several attempts she called her coworker whom I assume was the store manager to assist her. The store manager could not complete the return either. They told me that they could not complete the refund and I would need to purchase another set for an additional $40. I attempted to reason with them the difference in price was $4.50, I offered to pay them $5 dollars in cash with the incorrect lug nuts so that the manger could sort out the return at a later date and I would not need to return to the store. I was disappointed that they refused, explaining to me that it was not their fault. I said well it’s not my fault your computer is not working. They continued to refuse the return and forced me to purchase the additional parts which I desperately needed to get the car out of the road and back home. Dismal customer service, rude comments muttered by the clerk, take your buisness somewhere else if you can.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Incompetent and disrespectful staff. Scam artists who will not let you return parts even with proper receipts. DO NOT PURCHASE PARTS.
Very helpful employees at this location. I needed replacement parts quickly and they had what I needed in stock and they even installed the parts for no additional charge. These guys actually act like they enjoy their work and it shows. The way employees interact with customers really goes a long way.
I needed to replace a passenger wiper on my truck that needed to be replaced that failed and I got to the counter and the lady be hind the counter Wendy said to me ( so that’s a j hook wiper for my Chevy 2017 I said oh ya ya j hook.) So I went to install the wiper and it didn’t fit it wasn’t a j hook wiper. So the morel of the story is don’t underestimate Wendy she knows her stuff thank you Wendy!
I needed a part for my wife's car really bad it was an emergency and I called them at about 7:10pm and I get they close at 7 but there online says 9pm but the guy that answered the phone and asked me what he could help me with and had me go through the hole speal of what I needed after about maybe a min to 2 he told me they closed at 7 and he couldnt help me bc their computers were turned off. I don't get why he answered the phone if he could help me in the first place or if he didn't lead with that they just closed and make me waste my time.
I went here on Saturday afternoon. I needed new windshield wipers. The lady that was working was super helpful and even pit them on for me everytime I go into this store I get the best service.
It's such a great store. The staff are very kind and friendly. They help you find whatever part you need, and if they don't have it, they will tell you other places to try.
Kerry was very helpful with our car. Our a/c wasn’t working and he pointed us in the right direction. He even came out to help us. Top notch service. My family thanks you Kerry for keeping us cool on our way to Nashville!
They generally have parts that you need. The staff is only a little helpful. I can usually find items faster than I get help from an employee. The staff like to talk amongst themselves while customers are in the store..
Clean store and the employees are decent.
They don't treat a female like she doesn't know anything and make you feel a but better about going in for an auto item.
We were very pleased with the Advance Auto Parts in Augusta, Maine. We were there traveling back from Bar Harbor on vacation. Our car desperately needed a new battery. We found Advance Auto Parts online and they opened at 7:30 AM on Sunday. We were their when they opened. We bought a new battery and they installed it for us and within 15 minutes were back on the road heading back home to Virginia. Very efficient and helpful staff. We recommend them 100 %. I like this store they do there best to help you anyway they can and I am pleased with there workers they are happy most of the time when I go in they greet me with hello can we help you find anything today most of the time I am looking for something out back and I say yes but then sometimes I have been in there and waited for 20 mins for them to help other people
Well stocked and usually busy. It's good to have several auto parts stores in any one area for price comparison purposes. Sometimes I buy from AAP and sometimes not but they are as good as any other.
