••update, I spoke with Eric and he really did try his best to resolve my issues. I am still disappointed in the warranty coverage, but Lake City has tried to resolve the issue •• I’m really disappointed with the customer after care, I purchased an Audi a few months And shortly after a check engine light came on I purchased an extended warranty with the vehicle however, I’ve come to find out that nobody will honor the warranty. So for the last 2 1/2 three weeks, I have been trying to contact. Lake City exports for assistance with this check They just blow us off. Do not return calls. Do not deal with the problem and I have a huge trip coming up and I can’t even drive my car cross country.

Sorry my experience was not so nice ! Buying was easy and eric was very nice and professional! But that’s where it ends! I had so many issues with Chevy Silverado I purchased it quickly became a money pit. It got so bad I named the truck Christine anyway they weren’t willing to help much and eventually it cost me an extra $5000 my good deal became a nightmare with no end. I even tried trading it back in with but they didn’t want it back! The story ends with me going down the road to get a Dodge Ram and yes losing more money on the Chevy but I don’t have to look at check engine lights anymore more! So please buyer beware ! And buy a warranty if you purchase any vehicle from lake city exports

A few weeks back my car got totaled. I had a very strict budget for a replacement vehicle and I found one I really liked online. I visited the Lewiston location and worked with Eric. He was helpful, friendly, and awesome to work with. The car had just entered their inventory, but he pushed it through the standard servicing and got it to me in just three business days. I love my new Equinox and they made the experience of purchasing from a dealership (my first time doing that) easy and painless. I would recommend Lake City Exports to anyone looking for a pre-owned vehicle.

Eric got me into a car that I really like with difficult credit etc. The whole process was quick and professional. Would use again.

So I will start off by saying I bought in a few vehicles had good luck Sent my 19-year-old daughter down to lake City export on Lisbon Street to buy her first car in her own credit and and down payment car was great for a few days then the stereo messed up I then called Eric explain to him he said bring it in supposedly they put a new stereo in about a month or two later my daughter's stereo broke or something went wrong she can't use her backup camera she can't see you the stations it's a black screen so I put a post on here that wasn't so great Eric wanted me to take it away and don't leave a bad review says he would work with us I send my daughter down he looks at it I guess says I'll be in contact with you then my daughter says to me Eric told me the owner will be calling you no response from the owner they do not like my first review so this review I'll be an honest I would not recommend anybody to go to lake City export I've learned my lesson with them then off to make anybody happy My poor kid has now a radio that don't work properly her backup camera is part of the radio she can't even see cuz it's all black I would not recommend anybody to this dealership you guys want good cars go to Dover foxcroft it's the old rockland Ford they will give you what your vehicle is worth or what you owe they will treat you good use or new even if you go back 4 months later and something happened they will work with you lake City will not I give you guys a big fat zero on your rating you just lost a very good customer and I hope it was worth it Eric and the owner you guys are crooks and liars now if this really is a new stereo obviously there's a wire problem and nobody wants to face it no Eric you are a liar I did not agree to nothing I didn't even go down there with her I talked to you on the phone so that's a bold-faced lie The company that you worked for is a ripped off artist you told me the owner was going to call me and take care of it that never happened you lied every salesman make tries to make a sale to make money off it as you do All you are looking to do is make money you don't care if you rip anybody off or anything I give this place a zero rating and I have about 15 people that's going to back me up and come down on the main road on Lisbon Street in front of your shop and we are going to hold signs protesting you guys will get what you deserve you want to rip people off I'm going to make sure you get no service this is a young child how would you feel if your child got ripped off this is unfair for a young little girl to go through you gave her a used stereo and told us it was brand new but on here you say used that is a lie That's why we go to Rockland Ford which is no longer Rockland Ford it's key Ford same owner and you know what they take good care of us that car was not even a year old not even close it's only about 4 months 5 months roughly you took advantage of her and that's not called for that was very wrong of you and I hope us protesting against lake City export and I hope this review helps others know that how you guys are scammers and you will screw anybody over do never trust the salesman they're only out to make a sale but like I said think about it if it was your child how would you feel again I give this lake City export a rating of a zero a friend of mine just got a car from you and the brakes all the way around were bad and you wouldn't even work with her as well you know who I'm talking about I know you do but have a great day I hope this review finds a lot of people and they turn around and do not purchase no vehicles through this man nor the one on center Street Auburn take my advice guys please stay away your money is well worth more than what they would charge you Go somewhere else

I been looking for a new car, and Eric was the guy! He got me in to a nice Audi that I wanted and shared the car history and assured me that it was reliable, he gave me a good warranty and a offer for an extension, I would not go anywhere else! He is the guy! Thank you Eric!

What an outstanding buying experience.........No pressure, straight forward and to the point. I want to make it clear that this dealership DOES do a service before purchasing. I was looking at some of the 1 star reviews on here and it's kind of unrealistic expectations of a used car dealership. Do your research on the make and model used car you are buying........It's not the fault of the dealership if you are buying a make and model that are known to be problematic used vehicles.......I will be a repeat customer at this dealership for years to come! We had a great experience working with Eric at Lake City Auto in Lewiston. I bought a Toyota Tundra truck and traded an older Tundra and got a fair trade in amount considering what my Tundra needed for work. Eric was easy to work with, and he was able to do everything we asked. I've had the truck for over 2:weeks and have been pleased with how it runs. I would recommend Eric to anyone.

I worked with Eric after being referred to him by their Auburn location. The gentleman in Auburn was very friendly and helpful in pointing me in the direction of the exact Truck I was looking for. Once at the Lewiston location, Eric talked with me in a very non-pressure way while we talked about what I was looking for and where I wanted to be on price. He never made me feel like I was a nuisance and went to bat for me while he shopped around for the best lender for what we were trying to accomplish. He delivered results better than I was expecting and even had the tank topped off before handing me the keys. The last thing he left me with was an open invitation to reach out to him with any concerns I might have whether it was a month from now or years. I’ve never had a better experience buying a vehicle. Definitely recommend these guys.

Complete and utter disregard for the safety of my children, my wife, and myself. After 15 days if driving I had to bring the vehicle back to them because it had blown valve seals. They refused to give me a loaner and stated several times that they feel the vehicle was safe to drive. Check for your self. Even a cursory Google search of the risks of driving a vehicle with bad valve seals will show you the risk of fire as the top concern. They knew the valve seals were an issue but chose not to admit or address it until I had it diagnosed by a third party service center. When I took the vehicle in and told them what the service center had found they didn't even pretend to have the issue diagnosed or confirmed by a their own mechanic. They just said they they will order the replacement engine and that I should keep driving it until it arrived. (They would only give a loaner during the time it was in the garage) When the engine work was completed I got a whole 10 miles down the road before the exhaust warning came on (PU-420 catalytic converter not functioning to minimum standards). When I called they said to bring it back and they would reset it (delaying tactic) but assured me that I didn't have to worry, because I had reported the problem before the warranty was up, they would take care of it if the issue. When I called back to let them know the PU-420 issue had returned they started arguing that it was not related because the issue would have occurred before... He shut up real quick when I informed him that by the mileage this issue was their problem not mine and while your at ut the rear strut is blown so you can fix that too. Needless to say they ordered the absolute cheapest part available and it took almost a week to get it delivered. They again refused to give a loaner and expected me to go pick my vehicle up at a repair shop in a completely different town and drive it with a blown strut until all the paets arrived. I informed them that they would need to get my vehicle from where they left it and bring it to where they were gong to have the work completed, because I would not take possession of it until the work was completed. So to wrap this up. Don't believe their song and dance about caring about their customers and wanting them to return. If that were true they never would have encouraged me to drive my family around in a potential fire hazard.

Had issues with 2013 bmw x5 I bought. Had the car for a few days and it was having a laundry list of issues. They refused to do the work the second time and I ended up returning the car and getting a full refund. Eric was a great person and salesman but they clearly didn't check the car before selling it.

I went in looking to trade in my Car, Eric and Rob were amazing !! They went above and beyond to help me get the car I wanted !! I would recommend anyone to check them out, and when it comes time I'll be buying my daughters car from them also!!! A+++++ !!!!

Recently purchased a 2014 Chevy equinox, a beautiful vehicle, one owner, big on the inside and great on gas! The gentleman we dealt with up there was extremely helpful too! Our 5th day owning the vehicle a check engine light came on with a service power steering system. This is our family vehicle and do hope to have repairs done on it soon. Will change to 5 stars when they repair issues. *Updated* Thanks again to Lake City for taking care of our concerns definitely would recommend to friends and family!

My wife and I had a great experience while visiting Lakecity Exports. The salesman was very knowledgeable, upfront, honest, and helpful; not your overly aggressive sales prototype. The vehicle we looked at was priced fairly and the dealership was willing to address any concerns that we had. I would certainly recommend Lakecity to anybody.
