I was told what was wrong and what the price was before any work was done. After being given a great price, they had my truck done in one day. Also provided an itemized receipt so I could see what I paid for. 5 out of 5 work. Will definitely return!

Very competent, professional and reasonably priced service. Had an issue with none of my brake lights working. The technician did a thorough job troubleshooting and ultimately determined oddly enough that all brake lights had burned out. Checked numerous reasons of why this could have happened and ultimately determined the burnt out lights was the only issue.
Brought in a vehicle I was considering purchasing. They gave it a thorough going over and an honest opinion. I appreciate knowing the issues it has… forewarned is forarmed!
I’ve used Automotion for over 30 years. They are courteous, thorough and competitive in prices. I had issues with ignition coils for a few months recently but they stood behind their work and replaced all 4 coils at the same time. No cost to me! I am very happy with their service!
My long-time mechanic retired, and several people recommended Automotion. I will say they got me in quickly and got the work done as planned. Everyone was helpful and courteous. I will schedule work with them again.
We took our Honda pilot in to run some diagnostics on an electrical/modular issue we’d been having. We dropped it off in the morning and upon pickup, they had told us they couldn’t find what was causing the issue, but we were being charged $200 for fixing our alignment. We would have been okay with the charge had they called and asked if we would like it fixed. We took our car in specifically to get the electrical issue fixed and nothing else. While we appreciate them finding the alignment problem, it was unrelated to our chief complaint and they lacked the courtesy to call and ask if we’d like it fixed before charging us $200 for a service we didn’t need or want.
Went to 4 other shops to get an alignment that told me they couldn’t do it from my car being too low. Cj was able to get my car in the day after I called and got me back on the road! These guys are great to worth with, very understanding, and I trust them to work on my car which is unheard of for me! The price they gave me was more than fair, after getting 2 quotes at 150 and 1 at 210 Automotion got me taken care of for just 90 dollars for the alignment!
Recently on our road trip from MN to Texas, our vehicle's "Service Engine" light came on. We got into Topeka not knowing what to do. We reached out to friends that had previously lived in the area asking for suggestions. They recommended Manis. We reached out to them and got to their shop at 8:30AM and were greeted by DJ (owner). Within minutes he connected his computer to our car. He found that the alarms were minor and he cleared the new ones along with a couple of old ones. He gave us the green light to go on our merry way. I offered to pay him for his services and he declined. If ever in Topeka and we experience car issues, I know where I'm going!! If you live in the Topeka area, this is where I recommend taking your vehicle's for maintenance and repairs. THANK YOU!!
Paul and Jim were top notch guys! Took our car in for oil issues and they replaced the part they thought was the issue but we were still having issues so they took it back in and went to work on trying to find the problem. Paul went above and beyond with my warranty company trying to get the repair covered. The customer service was not only the best I've ever had at any mechanic, it was one of the best in general! Will definitely be going there for any future repairs I need!
I recommend this shop. They were timely and courteous, helpful and honest. Calvin was the one who worked on my car. I was told quite transparently that one of the repairs I opted for today was not crucial, which I appreciated. Just be sure to book your appointment a couple weeks in advance. When I called initially, they didn’t have any availability and had to schedule me 2 weeks ahead.
I was the first one in the door to get my car's oil changed and they told me it would be a 20 minute wait. 45 minutes later, I went in and asked when it was going to be done. He responded that they haven't started it yet, but will start working on it now. I was very frustrated, since I had waited there all that time. He said it will be 15 minutes and it actually took them 30. I don't know whether to give them another chance or not. The man told me he would give me a discount. He only took $1.50 off...big whoop!!!
5 starts all the way!!!! I was heading out of town and my engine light came on. I showed up there to see if they could fix it and get me in before I had to leave for out of town. DJ Manis checked out my car and fixed it right then and there! He truly is a blessing. All of the employees there are very friendly, and helpful! I would recommend them to everyone and will going there moving forward for all my car needs! Thank you so much!!
Always excellent work and locally owned and operated. Dave always goes the extra mile and fixes things right..and takes the time to explain so we know what's going on. The entire team goes above and beyond for us and our friends and family.
I would trust this shop enough to send my grandmother there. DJ showed me the components that needed repaired to demonstrate their need, and gave me a military discount without asking. They were very prompt and I felt very well attended to. When I had a problem with faulty parts, they covered them under warranty no questions asked, and did not charge me for labor even though they could have. I recommend this shop to anyone in the Topeka area and I will be sending my friends and family there.
We had been having the WORST time finding a shop that would just tell us the truth about what was wrong with our car. We had been to several shops in the Topeka area and had mechanics "fix" things, but none of them were as honest with us as the guys at Automotion. These amazing individuals saved us a lot of time and even more heartache by telling us that our car was actually beyond saving. This alone tells me they have more integrity than the other shops we have been to. They were quick to let us know the outcome, and were so kind to us that we know the next time we need a car repair, we will definitely be going to them. Love their attention to detail and commitment to do the job correctly. I don't trust just anyone to work on my twin turbo Mustang but these guys are the ones!
These are some of the nicest people I've ever seen in a repair shop!! They explain things to you that you are, (somewhat), knowledgeable about. They only looked at my car today and I have to take it back to have a couple of things fixed. They are very good on their prices, too. I will update more when I get it fixed. But they are off to an great job!
I’m from out of state and had broken down on the turnpike. I was recommended by Brown’s Super Service towing to Automotion. The got on my vehicle the next day. Had me up and running by 2 . This shop has quickly become the only mechanics I will trust with my (many) vehicles. After having been to 3 previous who could not figure out the issue, Automotion had our vehicle for less than 45 minutes and not only had the issue figured out but solved. Every experience since has been equally wonderful: quick, efficient, and reasonably priced
The best and only mechanics I trust in town. My family has been going to Automotion for 20 plus years. They always find the issue and fix it. Never had something they couldn't take care of. They are honest and fair. Only negative I have is they are so good that they are so busy and booked out to far for scheduling...
