The people there are so friendly and helpful! I had some lights on my dash that needed looked at and reset. I got in the next day and was in and out fast. They made me feel like a member of the family. Explained what I needed in terms I could understand. I will definitely use them again!

Had my first and last encounter with Dave’s Automotive when I took my 2009 Nissan murano to his garage. The car was taken to him with the idea in mind it was an alternator issue because loss of power. It was in the shop for a little over 2 weeks and within the 2 weeks I was called twice. The first call I received I was told I’d need a new battery to test the alternator and the second call I got was them asking me "what all happened again when I broke down on the side of the road". I told them again and waited until the end of the week and then was told it was complete and "should" be good. I didn’t like hearing that of course being the costumer but I trusted the mechanic that thought it was just the battery. Thinking I was good I drove about 2 hours and the car did the same thing and died on the side of the road. So here I am 3 tows in and still not even a proper diagnosis. I told Dave about this happening again and he asked what happened and I told him the same thing I told him the first time that it stopped accelerating and then died after 2 hours of driving it. So tell me why he didn’t run the vehicle for as long as I did in order to find out if the car was fully fixed or not before sending me out with it saying it was complete after a simple battery install for almost $400?
Dave is awesome we had a car we bought that they said (wasn't fixible) well Dave fixed it and it's still running great a year later!! I wouldn't take my car any place else i don't trust just anybody to touch ours but I highly recommend Dave!! He knows cars very well thank u Dave!!!
Dave & company are the BEST ever. They do excellent work, understand the world of mechanics like none other, & they are great to deal with. I am SO grateful to them & can’t stand the thought of going anywhere else to work on my vehicles. They should charge so much more than they do, because their expertise is priceless.
I would highly recommend this local family owned business. We took our Honda Odyssey in for an alternator replacement and our Subaru in for an exhaust leak. They are friendly, honest, and we did not have to wait weeks to get an appointment.
They were very helpful, knowledgeable, well priced and made me feel like a member of their family. They accurately diagnosed my bad alternator and warned me of some deteriorated lower ball joints and a crack in my air filter, which might lead to issues in the future. They even stayed after hours in order to accommodate me while away from home traveling for work. Dave and his son got me back on the road, quickly riding smoothly again. I'd trust their work again in a heartbeat.
Dave is by far the best mechanic I've dealt with in 3 decades! Dave is also a straight shooter, he WON'T rip you off or tell you to fix something unnecessarily! Dave fixed my timing around COVID when bad parts were everywhere, and unfortunately, we got delt some of those bad parts, and he had to replace a part not once BUT twice. He sucked but he did it both times with a smile and without any complaints and charged me nothing OF COURSE! ALL AROUND GREAT PLACE YOU CAN TRUST!

I called today, to ask general questions. There was a female that answered the phone, that was very rude. She had no phone etiquette and was very disrespectful. A first impression is very important, if you are answering the phone. Customer Service is important and courtesy! Potential customers or new customers, is how you get business. I have never experienced this on a first phone call! If you are that rude over the phone, how are you in person? I chose Butler Muffler & Auto Repair. The person that answered the phone at Butler was respectful.

Today is the 2nd of February, l have been down for about a week to get into the shop it was full everybody was sick David his daughter were the only ones in the shop(thanks to COVID19) they came out check my vehicle gave me a date to bring it back used about 5 hours of my time and my Van was fixed gave me all the other problems that he seen while fixing my Van It's very very reasonable in pricing I highly recommend this shop because of their honesty and their ability to get the job done very quickly God-bless Dave and wife, daughter, and his son and all of the family very good people in my book we'll do business with this business again and that's a Guarantee! I CAN'T BE MORE HAPPIER THAN I'M RIGHT NOW!

Dave automotive is a family owned business.My timing chain broke in my 5.7 hemi engine. I had a extended warranty on the engine. Dave and his wife worked so hard dealing with my warranty company demands. After all said and done. I ended up with a new reman engine. My 2013 Dodge Challenger is running like a 747. Awesome job to Dave his wife and crew. I highly recommend this business extremely high integrity.
Dave is very knowledgeable. He worked on my Kia and saved us alot of money. We couldn't afford the dealership, so we looked elsewhere. We will go nowhere but Dave's automotive now.

As soon as you walk through the door you feel at ease and instantly know that they are going to take care of you without breaking the bank. They fixed a problem with my car that had been being overlooked by others. Dave and JR got me fixed up quickly. They allowed me to bring my vehicle in several days before my appointment. Dave’s Auto is a great place. He’s courteous, informative and meticulous with your vehicle. I’ve had two separate vehicles have some major repairs and they have been been solid since. Super trustworthy and he nails the estimate down to the nearest penny. This man knows his way around cars. Trust in this place, you’ll be glad you did.

Dave Ried is one of the best mechanics I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, along with his dear friend JR Bartlett. These guys were my neighbors at their previous place of employment, ( their employer was a jerk and didn’t take care of his top notch employees). I never trusted anyone at all with my 1964 Pontiac GranPrix, NO ONE! Except Dave and his buddy. That car was my baby, handed down from my deceased father. He kept that car safe in the shop for 2 months, while working on it in his spare time, also rebuilding the 3 barell carb. Dave is a master, and is a genius at automotive electrical too. My dogs ate every wire and broke lights on my 10 x 6 utility trailer, Dave rewired the whole thing. Works great ever since! I couldn’t of asked for better friends or better mechanics! Honest, hard working, reasonably priced, won’t quit til the job is done and one hell of a guy! I’m grateful for all their hard work! I highly recommend Dave’s Automotive! Thanks for always looking out for me! So glad you have your own shop now!
The couple at this shop are amazing people and make sure all your car needs are covered they helped us in more then a few jams and they do very quality work for an even better price!! My mechanic till he retires for sure.
